I have had (4) appointments with Dr. Bonikowske in 2021 (for a multi-appt. procedure), and I had my teeth cleaned today (5/6/21) by Hygienist Gresser. The Hygienist did an excellent job, she was very professional, but also was very personable and kept the atmosphere comfortable. Dr. Bonikowske, and her assistant are the Very Best duo that have ever worked in my mouth! (and there have been many) Doctor Bonikowske is very meticulous in her work, but very gentle in my mouth, and she always keeps me informed on what is going on, she is just the Best at her profession! Every time I've gone to ForwardDental, the Receptionist has always been really friendly and professional, while taking care of her many tasks, including adhering to keeping people safe from Covit-19! I still have a few appts. on the schedule, but I'm sure that I'll be coming back for years to come! read more

I've been to this location numerous times all of a sudden they lose all of my information and have no knowledge of any of my previous visits or anything I had done. Also, the front desk clerk girl is worthless. The care quality here is subpar. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere elseif you care about yourself. Dealing with a tooth infection they do not care and just try to schedule an appointment down the road. read more

Over charged me $170 and refused to refund me the money. They said my wife's insurance owed them money so I am out of luck. I talk to Delta Dental and everything is paid in full. Feels like a scam. Very disappointed been going there for30 years. No longer going there, so be warned. read more

Please don't waste your time going to ANY forward dental locations in Wisconsin. Let's start out by saying I use to have braces from the time I was 5 to 13yrs old I had my jaw expanded realigned the whole thing. I've spent years of my life in and out of the dentist office and never had such a poor experience in my life not only at 1 forward dental but 3 different locations. I need a deep clean and a tooth capped. I lived in Wisconsin 2 years and within those 2 years 3 different forward dental locations no one could seem to do either of those. I had to call my insurance for them because they lied and said they did and didn't. My insurance covered everything with some small copay's. Forward dental kept making excuses and the entire 2 years I was there never did I get the deep clean or cap on my tooth. I went to the dentist over and over just trying to get someone to do their job. In all my life I've never experienced anything like this. Please these people are lazy they won't even call your insurance company like they claim. I sat around for a month just calling to see if they had heard anything from my insurance and they kept claiming no instead of just saying I'm to lazy to call. My husband is a leading design engineer my insurance sure as hell covered it. Just don't waste your time my mother in law is a dental assistant in Michigan & she thought it was just crazy how I was treated. read more

Update- My tooth filings fell out over the Labor Day weekend and I tried to call Forward because they had used all my insurance benefits, $1500, and over $500 in out of pocket costs in the 8 months since I became a patient. I was greeted by Patience, who attitude is exactly opposite of her name. She begins to lecture me on $58 I owed the office and had been sent to a collection agency after I told her my fillings fell out and under no circumstances would she help me unless I paid this debt. Somehow after multiple visits to the office over 8 months and a complete wipe out of my insurance benefits, i was placed in collections??? After a few choice cuss word for her I was hung up on and contacted by Judy later who continued to tow the company line that somehow I forgot the $58 debt over the 8 months it took for them to clean out my benefits and out of pocket payments. Judy let me speak to Dr. Fernandez who truly does great work and truly cares about the pain management of his patients but can not control the attitude of his front office people. He agreed to look at my fillings at no cost and we set a time. Sadly I had to be returned back to Judy who again lectured me that all this was me fault. Never once did she care my fillings fell out, never once did she give the smallest bit of " hey maybe we over reacted by sending you to collections for $58 after we had gone thru $2K of your money and your last visit was less then 60 days ago. So I giver her a credit card to pay the debt I owed and when I asked her about if the collection agency affecting my credit, she tells me that is of no concern of hers and she will call me back after the transaction would go thru. After waiting over two hours with no call back, I called again and again Patience picked up and told me that I was harassing the office and they will black list me as a customer. The the happy hang up. While I was on the phone with Met Life, who also cares less about their customers, Judy called back and told me the transaction was approved and we got into it again over the lack of customer care and I told her I will not see Dr. Fernandez while the two very unprofessional employees are in the front office. She told me that he only works out of that office, I told her she was a bad person and that was the end of it. No call backs, no solution. Just the $58 paid to Forward. I called corporate and was waiting for a call back from a Mr. Young. Nightmare!!! I can't chew. started with them in January. They have done work on one area of my mouth and have ended up using all my insurance benefits, including a root canal, and I still have a lose tooth and can not eat properly. After talking with Sharon, who accused me of not being professional, they offered no solution or guarantee to assist with my issues at no further cost. I feel that I have been hoodwinked and now have to wait 3 months further to have new coverage kick in. But at least that will give me time Tom pay off the overage in out of pocket expenses I still owe them. read more

Went to these guys for several years. I have soft teeth that decay easily. Have had bad dental experiences before so am not an easy patient. Got check up and cleaning every 6 months with X-rays as recommended, couple of fillings - gradually seemed I was too much trouble. They quit doing any needed work telling me all was good. Had a tooth actually break off at gum level held on by piece of filling. When I got emergency appt dentist said tooth next to it was badly decays and I lost 2 teeth just weeks after I had "good" check up. Really great first visit with Dr B and her staff. On time, good communication skills. hate the dentist but this was a good experience

I have been going to this office for several years. The receptionist always calls two days prior to my appointment to confirm. They always have an estimate of my costs ready when I arrive. They take the time to explain my billing if I have questions. While in the chair, my hygienist has good personality and carries a conversation and removes her hands from my mouth to give me time to talk. The dentist (Dr. Kueffel) spends quality time in the room and doesn't leave until all my questions are answered. He explains exactly what he is doing and what he is looking for during his examination. Before I leave they ask if I have any questions and set my next appointment. I lost a molar because of these people. After a lot of pain, I found out I had a failed root canal on the upper and the lower molar had a cavity so big that I had to lose the tooth. When I got to the specialist they are affiliated with, the specialist told me that the wisdom tooth next to the molar should've come out years ago. This led to a cavity so big that even a root canal couldn't save it. I had also been told I had periodontal disease, so I was in that office every 90 days for a special cleaning. All of those people with their hands in my mouth, and eyes on my x-rays, failed to see that I had a wisdom tooth that should've come out, and a failed root canal. This is what they are supposed to be good at. I have absolutely no trust in anyone at forward dental West Allis. I sincerely hope that they lose a molar, so they know what it feels like. read more
