Excellent service and products! Scott perfectly installed a top of the line Memento dash cam, front and rear; the 4k quality is fantastic and the front cam view is wider than most on the market. Greg at the front desk is super knowledgeable and helped select the Memento and also my re-tint of the windshield and front row side windows; I picked the top of the line ceramic film which has excellent heat diffusion (since I am moving to Hawaii, the tint laws were quite specific and Greg and the tint crew professionally applied the required 70% VLT. I love how it looks! The owner was also there overseeing the busy shop and she does a great job! Terrible Wait time even with appointments. They will talk you in to buying stuff you don't necessarily need and talk for hours to 1 person while you're waiting in line. I dropped off my car at 9AM for the appointment I scheduled to have windows tinted. I was told booking online lets people double book(why have online booking then?) but then was told if I had time he would still be able to have the car done just not in 2 hours. I told him I had until 4PM and he said it would be done by then. I called around 1PM to get an update, cat still hadn't been worked on but would be worked on next. I requested a call in case they wouldn't be done by 4PM. Never got the call, arrived around 4:10PM and they never even touched my car. Waste of an entire day plus $50 on uber fares to get from and to the shop after dropping off the car and having to pick up again. read more

Not happy with their work. I spent a lot of money, and my stereo still doesn't sound right. Recently went in to have a speaker replaced under my warranty, but all they did was adjusted volume and never replaced the speaker. Even though my system is under warranty I will never use them for nothing again. I understand everyone's experience is different, but I will never get the hours I spent going back there for them to fix it and never get fixed. I can only speak on the Tukwila, but I did have a conversation with the Burien office, and the man only told me the sound I was hearing is normal. Why would I buy a system to hear some same white noise.. BS. read more

Don't be discouraged if you can't get scheduled to bring your car in the same week, their busyness directly correlates to the quality services you receive and attention to detail. I've gone to Foss Audio four times in the past two months after having the windows tinted on my first car, and unfortunately, it has not been a good experience. Quality of the tinting job has been disappointing. Each time I've gone back, there has been debris and dust trapped in the tint, which is very noticeable. For paying $450 after giving them multiple chances to fix it, the same issue keeps happening. It's frustrating to keep going back for something that should have been done right the first time. read more

Be careful! the 1 time they glued it just badly, didn't wash the windows before, with the dirty previous glue. we returned the car, they agreed that they had done badly and said they would redo it (while scratching the molding outside). the 2 time they asked to leave the car for the whole day and pick it up in the evening,but later they said that the car was not ready and pick it up tomorrow.ok.we called the next day and they said that no one came to work, and they can make the car tomorrow(as I understand it,one of the workers took car and drove around).when we arrived to pick up the whole car was with garbage inside, everything was scratched inside,and most importantly they destroyed my new tires on the front wheel 600$ per 1 (which I put 2 days ago and the car was in my garage all this time).Just idiots, No words. UPDATE: you don't know what u talking about. customers asked to see the video, but the employees did not want to.They said write to owners email, make an appointment, come and see (so needs to cancel the work to do this)the car is now in tuning,because of this,some parts have been removed and in paint shop now.it looks like this as if someone drove it, otherwise why keep it for 2 days,a lot of garbage inside and the driver's seat was adjusted for a different driver. read more

Wasted my time making me drive to a new location to talk to a manager about some security film they recommend. I go there to just have a conversation that could've been done over the phone . Says they will get the security film the next day and call me . No call so I call them, told me they would call back then nothing . Never called back. turns out security film for cars doesn't exist... why recommend it? Ended up just getting a car alarm installed and digital rear view mirror /camera . Instead of checking what type of mounting brackets they would need for the digital mirror they figured to just install (adhesive tape )it towards the center of my windshield . Which would just be in the way and look bad. Ended up waiting a month for the proper brackets so they could install it properly. Had to take time off from work again to get the installation finished. After the installation my vehicle was not put back together properly . Should've went somewhere else once I realized they wasted my time with the security film thing read more

Not a awesome experience. Had some tint done. Price isn't bad but quality is lacking. Car is brand spanking new so it was clean inside and out. I had an appointment at 10am but car wasn't ready till 4pm so not sure why I'm scheduling an appointment it it's not worked on at that time of scheduling. I called when I had seen that the car wasn't being worked on. As soon as I hung up I got notification that they were working on it. When I dropped it off I was told 2 cars in front of me and I was next. Well doesn't seem like that was the case. Door cards were covered in residue from the tinting fluid. One handle had sticky gunk on it. Also some fluid that ran down the door into the jam. Also the drivers side window outside had glue / junk on it. Wasn't there when I dropped it off. Las but not least they lef the bottles on the top of my car which left rings of fluid and stains. Last but not least none of the people working were wearing masks ! I'm not a Karen but really your working face to face signing papers and working in the car with no mask. Not expectable ! read more

I just bought a new car and since it was brand new It didn't have tints on it. Not sure if all cars come without tint but I knew I needed it asap! Ive been in contact with the people here at Foss audio for a few weeks and whenever I call I'm always greeted politely. I set up an appointment about two weeks back and my tints look amazzzing. I recently had my windows tinted at Foss Audio & Tint. They did a great job for a reasonable price and even followed up with me on how the tint was doing. There was a tiny spot on the windshield visor that wasn't sticking, so they had me bring the car back in on the following Monday to have it fixed. Had tint and front camera, amp and bass knob installed on my car. Was told it should take a couple days so I dropped it off Monday and picked it up on Friday. Still wasn't done on Friday. So I waited in the shop for 5hrs while the tech tried to get his equipment to work. The bass knob install was absolutely terrible work. Looks like a 16yr old kid installed it. Cars a 16 Mercedes Convertible. Save your money and go someplace that focuses on quality work. They offer financing for people that make poor choices in life, so I would guess this is the majority of their clientele as while I was there a lot of people came in to make a "payment" towards their car stereo. read more

I would give a 0 star if I could. My friend took her car to foss to get her windows tinted and they melted a piece by the window! Let me tell you, this was a brand new car too! Would recommend going elsewhere if you need to get your car tinted. Update: that's not the point. having her come back many times to drop off her car was such an inconvenience, especially when she has other things she needs to take care of. even though it was replaced with a new part, there is now a small gap between that piece and the window. on top of that, the inside of that piece is not smooth like it was before - the inside is messed up. was told someone will contact her to resolve the problem but she never got a phone call (prob an excuse so they don't have to deal with her anymore) they also had to tint one of the windows again because there were spots and bubbles on there read more

CJ and his crew absolutely ROCK! Took my new 2022 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy in due to road noise. Also, the premium Harman Kardon stereo didn't quite sound like a high end system as it was advertised, mainly because it didn't produce enough base. CJ told me the main reason for both road noise and poor sound quality was there was no sound dampening so everything sounded "tinny". On the stereo, he said he'd let me know once he pulled the panels to see why there was no base. They installed sound dampening to all the inside panels and also found that for some reason the dealer had disconnected the subwoofer. And damn... a whole freakin new driving experience. I cannot believe the difference in both ride quality and sound quality. Truly amazing. I will never own a new vehicle again with having sound dampening material installed. CJ was straight forward and gave me an honest price. The crew was great to talk to as they explained everything as they were finishing the job to me. Go see CJ - he'll set you up! read more

I took my truck to Foss back in November to have them install a remote starter. Although its a 5 speed, they were able to do the job successfully and show me how to use it as it required a few additional steps being a manual shift. Last week I took it back and had them install a dash camera that I had bought and also tuned my amplifier that was already installed; I'm pretty happy with the work they did and will bring it back for future electronics work in the future. read more

Got a tinting deal off groupon, so the price was good. Service was great too. They were patient with my questions on any additional options with my car. The wait time was a bit long, as I had appointment at 10am and picked up the car around 5pm, but to be fair they did make that clear while scheduling appointment and I was able to uber to my work close by for some overtime during those hours. The only frustration I had was the busyness and lack of parking right as I pulled in at 10am. There was a line of cars waiting to get a spot in a very crammed area, and it took me close to half an hour to find parking. You also can't get out of waiting since cars are lined up, so you are pretty much stuck. Overall, good experience, maybe the scheduling regarding to peak hour could have been handled better, but would likely return. read more

I cannot recommend this place for tinting. Had to take my car in THREE times for them to get it right. They also tried to blame the bad tint on me because I removed my old tint myself. Each of the 3 times they redid the tint, I had to leave the car with them all day. Not very convenient. The second time they were redoing the tint, I got a call saying the car was finished. When I got there, they hadn't started working on it. Wasted drive and my time. They also left scratches all over my door seals. Tinted both my cars here. Victor and Chris do top notch tinting work that's perfect and with no imperfection whatsoever including all my roll-down windows, small fixed windows, and even front windshield. Their ceramic tint product blocks 99% of UV and 90+% of heat so my face and skin feel very cool and comfortable in the car even on the recent hot sunny days. Their pricing is way better than Accutint Bellevue and they got me in within 10 days both time whereas the other place only had an appointment 6 weeks out. Location is very convenient with Southcenter Mall just 2 blocks away so I just go there to get food and sit in the library while Victor works on my car. I have had 3 cars tinted here with the ceramic tint. Have not had any bubbling or peeling of any kind. The guys are always nice and generally have a good idea of when the job will be done. Had one time they forgot to do the stripe on the windshield but corrected the mistake appropriately. Definitely will bring future vehicles back here. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I originally brought my brand new, off the lot truck to the Kent location. Picked out $4,000+ worth of new door speakers, amplifier, subwoofer, and head unit. The installers there did a crap job. Plain and simple. Scratches and gouges left on my dash, extra holes drilled into rear seat plastic, broken tabs on kick panels, missing screws to back seat panels, crossovers installed with no covers, loose wires dangling over my pedals, all that on top of the install taking them twice as long as they quoted me. You would think the place was run by blind people, or people that couldn't care less. I couldn't tell the difference. After the Kent location closed, I took my truck to the Tukwila location after the front left speaker kept cutting out after a month from the initial install. I was told it was fixed. After driving off, everything seemed fine. A week later, same problem. I bring it in, have them work on it; I was told it was fixed. After driving off, everything seemed fine. It happened again. I walk in to make an appointment, and was told a date that was wide open and they would easily fit me in. I drop my truck off that day, and they want to reschedule due to being busy. Isn't that the whole point of making an appointment? They took my truck anyway, and after 4 hours, I was told it was finally fixed. Made it exactly one week before the front left speaker cut out again. I've had it with this company. I'm surprised they are still in business if this goes on with other customers. Maybe it's just me. Either way as a "legit" business, one install this bad with shoddy remediation attempts (4 of them!) should be one too many. If you are considering anything car-related, take it to another place that takes even an ounce of pride in what they do, because this place doesn't. read more

If you want incompetent service you've found it. Due to bubbles and dirt in my tint had to go back about 3 times in total. And it's still not right. First time, more than half of my windows had dirt between the tint and the glass. And almost all of them had bubbles. Guy working the front wanted to schedule me towards the end of the day so they could close out the day with my car as they were going to retint the whole car. Front desk worker tells me they would stay after and finish regardless if it was past their 7pm closing time. When the day comes to retint, I get a call at 650pm telling me I need to come immediately because they were closing. When I show up the tinter has retinted all the windows minus the back window stating that he was never told to do the back and I would need to reschedule for another day. There seems to be some sort of disconnect between the front desk and the installers. Second time, I go back for my rear window to be retinted. In the time between the first and second retint, the tint on the passenger window had shifted causing a crease despite waiting over 3 days to roll down the window. After the retint and upon inspection I already notice fat bubbles in the rear window, but worker reassures they will disappear in 3 weeks. On another note: when I was waiting in the lobby for my car to be redone I could hear one of the workers yelling at a customer on the phone. Made me extremely uncomfortable. And when he finished the phone call he was making fun of the customer with his coworkers. Unprofessional. Fast forward 3-4 weeks, the fat bubbles are still on the rear window. To make matters worse, the passenger window tint had once again creased itself despite waiting a week this time to roll it down. I go in for an inspection since I was in the area one day. Front desk worker tells me tinter is out sick, and asks me to leave my number and that I would receive a call when the tinter is back in. Over a week later no call, so I end up driving back down to talk to them in person and thankfully the tinter is in and we reschedule another day. Third time in... passenger side is redone and looks great for now. The rear window they tried to squeeze/pop the bubbles out rather than retinting so you can see where all the bubbles once were... At this point I'm just fed up with this place. Tint still isn't right, and they will likely mess it up more if anything. Waste of time. No care in their work. Hopefully this is the last time I have to come back to this place. I'm sure their audio work is better... read more

I got a new car and needed a tint job. I did some shopping around and Foss was recommended to me from one of my customers at the dealership I work at. The darkest that my dealership tints is 20% and I wanted limo black because that's what I'm used to. I called Foss and let them know my situation and they were able to get me in within a week of me calling, actually like 4 days to be exact. Nick was so great and friendly and was more than happy to ask the Tinter if he could squeeze me in on one of my days off. Came for my appointment, John, the tinter was so friendly and listened to what I wanted. He got my 5 windows done in literally an hour and a half and he did a very good job! I'm so pleased with how they turned out. Not only that, but these bad boys have a lifetime warranty. Like you cannot beat that!
