I could not be happier with the service I received at Jim's Detail in SeaTac. I have a convertible camaro that I had neglected for a few years. It had a cheap cover on it that was just holding water on it. It had mold on the dashboard, doors and floor and there was a green slime on the convertible top that I could not remove. I chose the level 3 cleaning (no ozone). I am amazed at how clean my car is. It looks brand new. The convertible top is back to gleaming black and the rest of the car, inside and out, is just shining clean. The cleaning was done a couple months ago and it is still awesome. Stopped by for a hand wash yesterday and I regret it. I get that black cars will get micro scratches/swirls, which is why I avoid automatic car washes, but this is excessive from a single wash. My car is 3 years old (15k miles), never been in an automatic wash, and this is what it looks like now. Disappointed as Jim's has pretty high reviews for some reason. read more

I lived in West Seattle for quite awhile and brought my car at the SeaTac store for quite sometime then I moved to Federal way for the last 21 years. I have had car washes and waxes on my car many times.I have a guy there name Henry Gibbons work on my car most of the time.Hes so sweet, attentive, and does a great job on my car always.I keep coming back there and that saids it all. read more

Brought in our 20 year old RAV 4 that we always took our Newfound dog to the beach in so lots of hair and gravel from my shoes. It looked like a new car when I picked it up ! A day later I noticed one of the stains didn't quite come out so they said swing by and they will take care of it. They did a great job and they were all very friendly. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy this rave review of my wonderful experience... I have two dogs, live in a wooded area, and I have just spent the past two years completing nursing school. The combination of these factors meant my car was full of dog hair, had a small eco system growing along the trunk and windows, and the floors were covered in bits of mud/pine needles/dropped bits of food shoved in my face during my 12 hour night shifts...you get the picture. I initially attempted to have my detail completed by Honda of Burien, but after my car was inspected and left for service, Honda called back to double the price to nearly $600 because of the dog hair along the carpets. I told them I was not worried about every tiny hair being gone from the carpet and was more concerned with a generally clean interior. I asked if they could just do their usual two hours of labor, and whatever was done in that time would be perfect. They declined, and I'm so glad they did, because it led me to Jim's. First, I spoke with Kevin on the phone. He assured me that mine would not be the worst car they had ever serviced, and he further assured me that their additional charge for dog hair was $35, not double the price. He was kind, professional, and I felt as though I was in great hands. My actual service was done by Adam and Patrick. I explained that my two dogs would be back in the car as soon as I got it home, so there was no need to break their backs over every single hair. They kept my car overnight to ensure that they had done a wonderful job, and when I saw my car, I was blown away. My car looked brand new. The interior was spotless, and despite saying they wouldn't do the tiny dog hair detailing at my request, nary a hair was to be found. The outside looks better than when I purchased the car, and I felt amazing seeing the inside of my car so clean. The detail was a graduation gift from my mom, and I could not be more thrilled. I will absolutely be back for maintenance washes to help avoid a future tiny forest growing in my windows, and I will be recommending this team to anyone in need of a detail. Someone gave me a gift certificate to Jim's Detail back in 2016 and I took my then Pick-up Truck there and had a horrible experience and never returned....until...someone gave me a gift certificate for my birthday for my now Nissan Rogue and I put off using it for 10 months...but I finally made an appointment and took it in yesterday. It was pouring rain and I really didn't care because I was not all that excited about taking my car there...however my friend had paid for the works and she wasn't letting me let the G.C. go to waste. I dropped off the car at 9am to give them plenty of time. This time the car WAS REALLY DIRTY. Since the last time I was there I had aquired two dogs, one of them a Corgi that sheds enough hair to make a new Corgi weekly. So, again, not really expecting much...since my old truck was a single cab...and this was a full car. I picked the car up at 4...I was blown away. It was beautiful. Adam repeatedly told me if I found anything in the next day they missed, bring it back and they will fix it. I am sure they had no clue who I was or that I was one time disappointed. My friend and I checked the car front to back, it looked like I just drove it off the lot. The only thing we found was around the trim...but it was pouring rain and if they treated it; it probably didn't stay on long and was washed away. I will take it back and ask them to touch it up...but other than that...again blown away, I wouldn't believe this was the same shop, I couldn't believe it was MY CAR. I couldn't find a dog hair in it...every nook and cranny was clean and spotless. Inside the hatchback door had been green and slimy from being exposed to the weather and pollen for two years...not a spot was left on it. I drove that car home feeling like I just got a new car. I went from no expectations to again...blown away...and everyone there was so nice...Now I don't want to let the dogs near the car...I want to enjoy it for a while...Thanks all the people at Jim's Detail...you were great...I know Kevin...I should have come back sooner... read more

I took my Mom's car in that had been sitting for a while so it quite dirty on the outside and smelled moldy on the inside. Everyone I had contact with was friendly and professional. We were worried, after our dear dying dog had an accident in my wife's Subaru, that they smell would be a lasting legacy from our departed pet: We tried charcoal and shampooing, but nothing seemed to help. I needed my car detailed after not having it done for 6 months. I was looking for something during a very difficult week with rain. I came across Jim's Auto Detailing and noticed they also provided window tinting. I had been in the market to have it done since I first got my car back in 2020. Jim's offered a garage where they could vacuum, wash, and tint my vehicle all in one place. I wasn't going to be able to pick up my car since I needed to leave it for the day, but I was given the option to pick up after business hours. I provided a lockbox for them to place my key in and provided them the passcode to access. I picked up my car that night after I got off work, and I was super impressed and happy with their work. My car had been quite neglected over the course of the pandemic, but I wanted a nice clean car to install our carseat in to before we start our new adventure of parenthood. I called in on a Monday and easily got a hold of someone who was able to fit me in on Friday. When I arrived on Friday, Jason did a walk through with me to talk about expectations and what would be done on my car. We always see Jim's auto detail exiting the highway in SeaTac so we thought we would give it a try because our interior need some detailing. We got a level 3 interior detail so we thought we were going to get an almost brand new looking car from all the positive reviews and ratings from Jim's Auto detail but this was the WROST interior detail! There were still stains all over our seats and headliner that did not get remove at all! The only positive side to the detailing was the exterior wash. This will be our first and very last time going to Jim's auto detailing! Updated Response to business owner (did not see a respond button to reply back to comment below): Thank you for your response. We did bring up the concerns to one of the employees before leaving and the gentlemen responded that they did the interior cleaning and for us to come back next time to repeat the cleaning. But coming back for another level three interior cleaning is not worth our money and time if it could not be removed the first time. read more

Outstanding! I dropped off my 2006 Honda CRV this morning for a full detailing. It had been 8+ years since I last got it detailed and while I take really good care of it, it's parked outdoors day in and day out. Jim's staff did an excellent job on both interior and exterior -- even restored the finish on my headlights (my DIY attempts to do so were ineffective but they know what they're doing). These guys nailed it. I had acquired a company car that had an odor from the pre ious occupant, yuck. I explained that and my concern. After they took care of the cleaning, they killed the odors and it brought it back to neutral which is all I had wanted. I've taken my 2012 Toyota Corolla to Jim's Detail Shop since 2018, for both interior cleaning and exterior hand wash and hand wax to protect finish. Today was exterior only ... great job removing, scratches, and oxidation, and it's the cleanest car on the road now ... so shiny, and smooth the rain will slide right off it! Insides of doors are immaculate. Wheels, chrome, glass all looking brand new. Just got my car back from the body shop and it had been sitting for a while outside so it was pretty dirty. The shop just wanted to hand it off to me quickly so they didn't bother to clean it up but regardless I needed a good hand wash for my Tesla. I don't trust the drive thru car washes with my car. I called Jim's to see if they had any openings for me to come by. They said come on in. Once I was there I pulled up and they got right to work. Two people took the time to wash, wipe down and polish my tires. It was quick and amazing. They did advise that I call ahead when I do need express service like that and they'll do their best to squeeze me in. They do full detail jobs and those require appointments. I will be back to visit them for my other car and for full detailing. They charge reasonable prices and they're good people.
