The pool is also adjacent to a covered playground with astro-turf. The pool has two low diving boards and a large twisty sliding tube complex. There is also a very large baby pool. The swimming pool is a 25 yard pool, but during public swim hours there is no lane swimming as the pool is converted to a general swim area, sliding tube landing area, and diving well. The pool has men's and women's locker room areas with showers. This swimming pool is an older pool, and does not have a zero-depth entry option for disabled people. This year they just installed a wench-contraption (sorry, don't know what it is called) to help accommodate disabled persons. Public swimming hours are very limited, only being from 1-4 p.m. daily. The other hours are devoted to swimming lessons, masters swimming, and youth swim team. The pool is generally staffed by teenagers with summer jobs, and they are not always the most polite or friendly people, but I guess that is to be expected of teenagers. I enjoy having this pool in my neighborhood, and my kids take advantage of the swim team, but given the option we usually drive to Fossil Park pool because my kids love the high-dive there, or we drive to North Shore Pool so that I can swim laps while they play in the rest of the pool or in the kiddy splash pool area.

I've been attending her classes consistently for the past 4 years, and no one else compares. I've tried other trainers and always walk away a bit disappointed. Tiffany delivers every single time. Her routines are top-notch--thoughtfully designed to hit all major muscle groups while incorporating cardio in a way that's both challenging and energizing. She never misses, brings great energy, and I genuinely look forward to her class every Sunday. I feel it when I miss! Honestly, I wish she offered more sessions... and I'd love to know--what happened to her spin classes?? Now for the hard part... Unfortunately, the facility she's forced to teach in has been in disrepair for far too long--going on about two years. The ceiling leaks, which has caused the floor to warp, and there are orange cones marking unusable areas. On top of that, the air conditioning is unreliable, and the room can get uncomfortably hot--especially during an intense workout. This brings to mind the "broken window" concept--the idea that when small issues are left unaddressed, it signals a lack of care and attention, which often leads to bigger problems. When a business allows visible maintenance issues to persist, it sends a message--not just about the space, but about standards and priorities. It's disappointing because there are truly great instructors here like Tiffany who deserve a facility that matches the quality they bring every single week. Fix the space. Support your trainers. Your members will notice--and appreciate it.

Air conditioning is frequently broken. On several occasions buckets collecting water from roof leaks. Not the best LA Fitness out there.

To be honest, I've purposely kept coming here because of the staff (Doug, Shane, and Zach) that really do the best they can and take pride in their work and it shows. It's clear now that the primary owners don't care about keeping this place in great shape. They don't care about upgrading the WiFi, or replacing one of the big fans (especially when it's the first one that you see when you walk into the place), or replacing old and outdated equipment, or old and outdated carpeting, or toilets that barely flush. Sadly, when the fan does stop working it gives you the chance to see how much caked-on dust has accumulated on it. (This has since been corrected as a result of a survey that I filled out that "got noticed.") With the recent opening of other gyms in the immediate area, it's time to take my business elsewhere.. If this place ever changes ownership and gets a much-needed refresh then I'll certainly come back to give it another try. Until then, I went ahead and canceled my membership at this place.

So I travel a lot and spend time in different towns as I work remotely and it allows me to be mobile. Usually, I would just get a national plan from 24hour fitness but there are no 24hour fitness locations in the area. So I went with a friend of mine as a guest. I think the machines are well maintained, most of them work just fine, have clear signs if they are being worked on, and even in busy times, I had no problem getting on a machine to work out. My 3/5 stars has nothing to do with that. What happened was that I was standing behind someone waiting to sign in a guest. as a business analyst I know that this is a great opportunity to upsell the membership and that is just good business, but the way the Esporta Fitness employee went about it was off-putting. I was standing behind someone else and the employee said, "want to become a member? The customer said, " I don't do that". As a respecter of upselling there is a right way and wrong way to go about the next statement. The employee did the wrong thing. He said, "you have something against fitness?" Nope, wrong question. What you're supposed to say is, "we have great trial periods and make it really easy to cancel anytime, our monthly fees are low and if you come more than X number of days that more than pays for the membership, yadayadayada". I was standing in fear that I was going to be inundated with a similar upsale tactic and that I was going to lose my s*&t. So he didn't say that to me, what he said was, "can you believe that guy? All I'm trying to do is tell him about our membership and he gives me attitude!" Nope, wrong statement. If this reflects Esporta Fitness I will be looking for alternatives to my short terms fitness solutions. If this is a one-off, consider this my complaint about the employee to the establishment. Otherwise, great facility, clean, and good vibes.
