Fosters was a wonderful rescue for an incident we had with another garage. The other garage charged (6 times) what Fosters charges and not near the quality work that Fosters does. Fosters replaced a wheel bearing on my Highlander for a very reasonable price and I have had no issues afterward. Also, they did not try to add other repairs that were unnecessary or created at that time. Fosters is a shop you can trust. Foster's came highly recommended when I moved to Little Rock in 2019. They do regular maintenance on my '02 suburban and have fixed several problems that have come up. They are always helpful, answer my questions and explain things so I understand what is going on. They are honest and upfront about costs of the service provided. They also give options for things to be fixed when needed. I really like the family atmosphere and completing the work when they say they will at the cost they quoted. I went to Foster's garage last week and talked about getting my throttle cleaned on my 2017 Nissan Murano.. The mechanic gave me a price and also askEd when I could bring my car in and to bring it early around 6 in the morning Well today is 4-11-2023 I got up around 3:45 am just to make sure that I would be on time. Got there around 6 but they didn't open till 7.. They (2) of the workers pulled 2 cars out the mind you I'm parked across the street after one of the workers parked the car and was heading back towards the garage I began to speak to him saying "good morning ", saying it twice but being ignored I then began to say excuse me sir, I talked with you last week about working on my suv he said well walk in the building as I did the older man was walking pass me head sort of hung with a smirk on his face he said come in the office he asked what type of vehicle etc.. he then look up my name and found that I had service did there but with another vehicle that I no longer have he tried to make me out of a lie as if I owed money for a diagnosis on a vehicle that I no longer had continue to tell him that my vehicle is outside and I had a diagnostic test did at auto zone as I went to my vehicle to get my diagnostic paper he walked towards me and told me that there was nothing they could do for me and mind you I got up early!! My first experience with Fosters came after some coil or something decided to stop working in my car while I was on my way to lunch. After returning to work and asking around, everyone told me to go to Fosters -- they are honest and cheap. I was skeptical after being burned by a few other shops around town. So I called the dealership that is now in charge of Saturn repairs in my area and was told they would charge me $150 just to look at it. I cried foul and gave in and took my car to Fosters...and I'm glad I did. Within a few hours of dropping my car off, my car was repaired at a very reasonable price (I called the dealer to ask how much they wanted for the same work and they said close to $600). I was charge $320 by Fosters. Same work. The person I was in contact with there has called me each time they have found something wrong, with a price and to ask if I wanted it repaired. No other shop around town has done anything near that for me. In the end, my car is fixed, my pocketbook isn't empty, and all in all I'm happy. My truck has been over heating for almost a year now, and I've taken it to several auto shops only to be told that all they could do is flush and fill the radiator. And that I'd have to have that $80 service done at least every few weeks. I did that probably 5 times, and it would work for a while. Then my water pump started to go out and Fosters is close to my work so I took it to them. After they replaced the pump, at a great price BTW, we talked about the over heating problem. Gary explained that all I really needed was a new radiator and the problem would be solved. I thought 'Great, there's $600 I don't have.' But Gary told me that it would only cost me $295 installed. Got it done, and he was right, no more over heating. I can now drive more than 10 miles at a time, and can run my AC at full blast. They were fast, friendly and knowledgable. And they didn't charge an arm and a leg while making me feel stupid for not knowing how my engine works. I plan on using Fosters for all my future auto shop needs. They really earned my business. I took my 2009 370Z there and was a bit skeptical at first because all the other cars in there at the time where all older domestic vehicles. However the level of professionalism I have experienced there matches no other vehicle repair place I've ever visited. My last visit was due to a code that pointed to a bad o2 sensor. They took the time to examine it closer and found an exhaust leak which I was referred to a muffler shop. I was surprised NOT to get charged a diagnostic fee for the time spent on it. I will continue to recommend my friends and family to Foster's for getting their vehicles serviced. read more

Friendly, prompt and professional;however 3 times out 4 my cars basic issue was too complicated for them and I got a referral and a bill for teling me they couldn't figure it out. The one time they actually did do a repair they jerry rigged the repair because they couldn't find the part...which i had not problem finding on Amazon.....? I won't send my girlfriend here, not because I feel she'll get ripped off, rather I feel she'll get charged $100 diagnostic and be told errrm we can't fix that. Worst experience dealing with a garage ever. Long story. My pickup truck needed a new intake manifold. Foster's garage was recommended by my mom so I figured they were good. Boy, was I wrong. First off, the initial estimate was insanely high. They wanted $365 for the part which I was able to find online for $165 (wtf?). They allowed me to have the part shipped to the shop and install it which saved me $200 from the original estimate. Everything was fine until I went and picked up my vehicle. About 2 miles from the shop my accelerator got stuck on Roosevelt Dr., the narrowest street in Little Rock. Before I could realize what the hell was going on I was going 65 in a 35. Luckily traffic was light and I was able to pull it off the road after mashing the brakes and swinging it into an empty lot where I killed the ignition. I called Foster's garage, they game out and adjusted the throttle cable which they had not properly reinstalled after working on my vehicle. As soon as I got back driving, my truck began missing, or shuddering when the gears shifted. So I called Foster's again and brought it back to the shop. They replaced an ignition coil free of charge. Problem was that it was still missing! So I took it back and they replaced another ignition coil. A week later it started missing again at 40-45mph. At this point I was tired of taking it there just to have nothing done and be without my truck. So I just drove with it missing, but after a couple of months the missing got worse so I took it back to Foster's reluctantly. They "fixed" it again by replacing another ignition coil and charging me for the part, I argued my way out of paying the labor since I believe that the missing was caused by the accelerator incident. Problem is that it is still missing at 40mph and from 0 to 20. Side note, I never received a phone call to inform me my vehicle was ready any of the times I had it in the shop. I had to call and ask every time. And usually when I called it was ready to be picked up. And when I would show up to pick up the vehicle the paper work usually had not been completed. Don't take your vehicle here unless you want to be overcharged for parts, almost killed, and have your time and money wasted while nothing gets fixed by incompetent mechanics. read more
