Woohoo! As good as it gets! Foundation Physical Therapy is top notch. Their physical therapists are incredibly smart and talented dealing with every situation that comes their way. August 2015 I had a total knee replacement on my left leg. I stayed in a rehab hospital for two weeks after that and then on to Foundation Physical Therapy. The first day I was at physical therapy my husband fell off a forty foot cliff. I let my therapist know and he said "Ok, we can adjust your home/hospital program." I was able to get a print out of things to do and safe ways to move my leg while taking care of my husband in the hospital. This kept me on track until my husband made it home. Mid September a motorist on a cell phone crashed into a car I was a passenger in and my legs were pushed into the glove box. When I returned to physical therapy, once again, I heard those magic words. "No Problem." I learned to work the leg and help the swelling and make progress. I went back to my orthopedic surgeon and he was extremely pleased that I had exceeded my goals despite life stepping in to try and screw things up. November I had the second knee surgery and after only one week of rehab I was released and returned to Foundation Physical Therapy. December 20 I managed to tear a calf muscle in the leg I had the total knee replacement. I arrived at Foundation Physical Therapy in a boot and crutches. Once again I heard those magic words. " We can fix this." I was less confident as my right calf was four inches larger than the left calf and it hurt to move but I still needed flexibility in the knee. After the first day I realized, yes, this too could be overcome. Because of all the staff from the front office, Tracy and Jordan, to the back of the house, Christian, Ube, Austin, Jordan, and Ethan I have made a complete recovery. My life is back to normal. I challenged those at Foundation Physical Therapy at every turn and they never knew what to expect when I walked through their doors but they rose up to every challenge and exceeded every expectation. What sets them apart is they take time to listen and they take time to re-evaluate when needed. They make sure your at home program fits you, the individual, even if your at home need to be at a hospital taking care of a loved one. Audrey G. I am fortunate to have been referred to Foundation Physical Therapy, as I had undergone knee surgery for a meniscus tear and needed pre and post op support for my injury. From the moment I called for an appointment, Tracy and Pam were so helpful and made the experience of accommodating my schedule a top priority. Later, Josie was added to the team in the front office, and she couldn't have been more helpful when I changed insurances at the beginning of this calendar year. Pam and Josie make a welcoming front office team for all of the patients. The care I have received from Emily has been outstanding. Her knowledge, compassion, and empathy are so appreciated as the weeks of physical therapy continue. She, along with the other professionals at Foundations, are unequaled in their approach to working with patients. My surgeon recommended Christian and his team when I needed a closer physical therapy to my office. I am SO glad that this happened. At my previous PT, they put me on machines and left me to myself to figure it out. I had surgery on my right knee meniscus and had been out of commission for around 7 months. When I first went to Foundation Physical Therapy, I was VERY anxious to do anything in fear of injuring my knee again. Christian and his team are so friendly, experts in the field, and truly care about their patients.. they really go above and beyond on a daily basis. It is something that is so rare, but refreshing to see in the medical industry. In my first session they dove right in using Blood Flow Restriction and had my muscles working and strengthening. I was unable to walk down the stairs, sleep comfortably, do any daily activity, or workout - after just a few sessions I was back in the gym, walking down my stairs, and finding daily life so much easier! I have extended my Physical Therapy from my surgeon twice because of the great work that they do and how much progress we are seeing! I really attribute all of my healing to Christian and his team! Even if you don't live near their office, make the commute - it is WORTH every second you spend getting there. read more

I first heard of Foundation Physical Therapy from my Pain Management Doctor. When my Doctor sent the request to my insurance was not sure if I wanted to try another Physical Therapy Clinic. I have had back problem for 10 years and been through 7 Physical Therapy Clinics it helps for a couple of weeks and the pain is back again. I got a call from Tracy, the office manager, she set up my first appointment, she was very helpful and very sweet. She sat me up with Christina, she told me I had 16 visits with Christina twice a week. My first visit with Christina we talked about my back she start off slow with me because I was already in pain. She walked me through everything she was doing and why. Making sure I was comfortable. My pain is less since I have been coming to Foundation. Christina was able to diagnose my nagging back pain. To make a long story short Christina has MAGIC HANDS! If you come in hurting you leave feeling better! And lets not forget the other team members that helps out, Jordan, Jose. They are awesome too! All 5 Star, have been to many PT, they put me on machines and zoom off, at Foundation Physical Therapy, everyone from the time you walk in to the time you leave makes you feel cared for. Compassion, and Expert Knowledge on how to help your body move into a healthier way of motion. Was not able to sleep because of back pain, after just three visits I am able to sleep through the night. When I first went to Foundation Physical Therapy, I couldn't walk. I had broken my foot in four places and after the surgeons had successfully put a metal plate in my foot, they referred me to Foundation. At the time, I been on crutches for over 9 months and had completely forgotten how to walk. Now I am back to running, jumping, and everything else I was able to do before! Everyone at Foundation Physical Therapy was SO kind and they definitely helped me make a full recovery. They make sure to talk to you and take time to listen to all your stories. Started therapy a few weeks ago with Emily & love it!! Have had a knee injury since I was 5 from being attacked by a dog & surgery at 12 yrs old. My knee has never really been strong or stable & now being in my 40's & active it has decided to cause me issues. I've done therapy before but for my back when I lived in Chicago but never felt completely satisfied. Starting therapy & workouts with Emily has made a huge difference in my knee but also in other areas of my body. I really look forward to going & working hard to achieve my goal of strengthing my legs & also my back. Better sore than sorry!!!. With 2 surgeries that have failed, and a physical therapist who didn't do much for me, I came to Foundation Physical Therapy. Christina has been with me every step of the way. She makes sure to ask about pain level and how easy/difficult things are. I have made so much progress in the 3-4 months I've been coming. I wasn't ever able to stand on one leg and now I can. Also, I couldn't straighten my leg due to no muscle from surgery. After a lot of hard work and awesome guidance, I am able to. If there were more stars, I would totally give them more. We Tausch's love the staff at Foundation Physical Therapy. My experience has been great from the stand point of the parent. Tracy always has my daughters paperwork and other needs up to date. Christian and Jordan have been a great team at working to get my daughter/s injuries healed and functioning to the best that they can. My husband had a really excellent experience with Foundation for shoulder therapy and when our doctor wrote up an order for me to have therapy for my hip at another therapy facility, my husband insisted that I get her to switch me to Foundation. I couldn't be more impressed with the facility and all the staff, but Emily Humpal is my therapist and is so professional and knowledgeable and personable, too. She's also very patient, which is necessary with me! I was very impressed to learn that she has her doctorate in Physical Therapy, as do other therapists there! Foundation PT was recommended to me by a Houston PT whom I know well. The facility is easy to find and the therapists are well prepared in their chosen field. I have chronic plantar faciitis and Emily has assessed some mechanical problems and assigned stretches and other exercises designed to alleviate the substantial pain. I am also receiving a regimen of dry needling with e-stim. Making progress toward ending this problem. Emily, Aaron and Zach have been very helpful and supportive in this journey. Over 2 years ago, I tore my labrum playing softball. I went to doctors all over San Antonio, but none of them could seem to help me. Finally over spring break, I had surgery on my right hip. the repaired my tear, removed lots of scar tissue and bone spurs, and released my IT band because it was very tight. Shortly after my surgery, I began Foundation Physical Therapy. Christian has helped me regain my movement to where it was before the surgery and my strength has increased tremendously. My therapy experience with Foundation PT has been life changing. This is my second therapy session, the first was due to a total knee replacement and this is for my hip. I've had other physical therapy sessions by another company with poor results, Dr Mc Fall completed a through exam and found exactly what type of therapy needed. His technique and bedside manner is exemplary. He explains what specific therapy is going to be done and follows through and asking if I was experiencing any discomfort or pain. I had never been to PT before, so didn't really know what to expect after back surgery March 9th. I started sessions with Aaron 3 weeks ago and have had a truly great experience. The staff takes all the time necessary to get to know you, and the specifics of your situation, and because of that I had a high degree of confidence in "the plan" they put forth. My first review ever and after 6 weeks of PT, well you can see my 5 stars and they deserve every one of them. When I started, I had 7% flex in my left ankle and after today's session (my last) I have 15%--what a difference. They take the time to explain each exercise and in some cases had to modify mine so I could do them at home too. I feel so much better and I know it wouldn't have been the same without their help. I have to say Foundation Physical Therapy is the best. I have been to FPT prior to this visit. Christian took care of me the first time, he and his staff are extremely professional and I can't recommend them enough. I am now seeing Jessica for a different problem. This is the best physical therapy place that I have ever used! I had just about given up on my sciatic symptoms and was referred to Christian by a neighbor. It was the best decision. It has been a long time but Christian has never given up on me. Each week he sits and listens to my symptoms and concerns and then chooses which area we will work on. Highly, highly recommend. We started seeing Christian when my son was having problems. At the time I was seeing a different physical therapist with no progress. Not only did he help my son, I switched over to him as well. I'm seeing great improvement. They are timely and all the employees are helpful and pleasant.
