I called Lori @ Essential Wellness because, even though there wasn't technically room in my budget, I've been having shoulder discomfort for months that had finally become unbearable. I actually called all over town looking for the best price, and decided to see Lori because I felt confident she could help me with this new condition, due to the conversation we had on the phone. She alluded to her "many years of experience" and "various qualifications" too numerous to tell in the short time we had on the phone. I decided to give her a try. I arrived today and was ushered into her very lovely lobby and then treatment room. I was given a menu of services and we discussed her areas of expertise and my physical condition so that she could customize a massage for my particular body. Although, as I say, I normally seek out deep tissue work, we agreed that a combination of the various modalities she's trained in would be the best approach for my symptoms. I lay down on her memory foam topped table with super lush bedding (wow - so incredibly comfortable!!) and was treated to aromatherapy, hot stones (ok - I get what the hype's all about now!), deep tissue, stretching, accupressure, and even some education about what all she was doing and why. It was a wonderful session and I left feeling rejuvenated and energized on top of my sense of healing, relaxation, relief from my symptoms, and overall well-being. As she said in our session, her focus was on getting my body into balance, and then the body knows what to do from there. I am sad that I won't be able to visit her for more treatments since I'm moving within the week, but she was kind enough to recommend a colleague in my new town who could offer similar treatments. It's almost comical now. How long will I have to wait?? Dr showed up at about 2:55 and he is extremely nice. He apologized and said that his entire staff is new and that they had just opened this office two months ago. Hopefully when I go back next month they will have their act together. Because I'd like to keep Dr. Luu as my primary.

Very accomodating with appt times convenient for your own schedule. The only thing I would say is the 30 minute wait time after MAputs you in a room to see the doctor; I believe it's because he is very caring and takes his time with each patient. Not really a negative commentary. I happily recommend Dr Luu's office without any reservations.

The doctor, Kurdis came is for skin check but didn't look at my body. He said the patches on my skin were "getting old" I asked what it was and thats all I got. I had to come back I should never have..he didnt get insurance authorisation for my most obvious problem that was infected. He however did burn off my face blemish from the wrong side it dripped down my face burning my check as it ran down my face. I don't know it's getting worse and worse with doctors I guess he wasn't even gonna check my body for anything because I was all dressed up talking to him. But he looked like for sure he works out!
