The board made a terrible choice in the new headmaster and sat silent while he and his wife ran the school into the ground. The headmaster's reign only ended after multiple activist parents forced the issue. Student enrollment is down ~50% from a few years ago. Most enrollment decline happened due to the situation this year. The school is failing on multiple fronts. They literally did not have any established curriculum for most of the middle school classes. Multiple long-time teachers left the school in 2025 due to the degradation of the school leadership. The school is financially insolvent. The only reason the doors are still open is because the Chairman of the Board has appointed himself as the interim Headmaster (contracted through his child's graduation next year) after overseeing the decline of the school, and is writing checks to keep the doors open. Stay clear of this school!

There were no problems with me or us to justify this action. They say they are a Christian school but they did not teach my child Christian values nor do they employ them in their decision making. Anyone looking for a Christian enviroment for their child would be best served not enrolling them here. This is anything but a school with Christian values!

My son attended Northwood from when he was 2 1/2 to 5 years old and it was such a great experience…read morefor both of us in so many ways. Initially he had a hard transition due to separation anxiety but the staff at Northwood worked with him to help him feel welcome and that he was in a safe place. I toured 4 schools before deciding to start him at Northwood and I'm really glad I chose this school because of the fact that they are only one of two AMI accredited schools in the greater Houston area and are really committed to maintaining a true Montessori style classroom and environment. My son flourished while in Ms. Regan's classroom. I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Regan. She is an extremely devoted teacher who takes time to know each child and work with them as individuals. This is part of the Montessori method of learning but Ms. Regan goes above and beyond to create the best individualized plan to help your child succeed, she's truly amazing! I also LOVE the playgrounds, it's set in a wooded area with lots of space for the children to run around and they even have a little walking/biking trail. I truly felt like I was part of the family while my son attended Northwood and I really miss that now that he's moved on to a much larger school. I don't think he or I will ever forget the wonderful experience of having Northwood be his first school!

Words truly can't express how grateful we are for this Montessori school. Moving our twins here was…read morea big change from their previous program, and the difference has been remarkable. Their growth -- academically, socially, and emotionally -- has exceeded every expectation. The teacher‑to‑student ratio is exactly what young learners need. Each child receives thoughtful attention, support, and guidance, and you can see the impact in their confidence and development. The campus itself is calm, kid‑friendly, and has that peaceful, "zen" feeling that makes learning feel natural. Update: Our twins are now heading into kindergarten, and the foundation this school gave them is incredible. They're already comfortable with addition and subtraction, reading, and writing -- skills they learned here through hands‑on Montessori methods. We also love how much the school celebrates community and childhood joy. They host trunk‑or‑treat for Halloween, Thanksgiving feasts, Christmas parties, Valentine's celebrations -- all the fun moments kids look forward to. For Mother's Day and Father's Day, the children make the sweetest photo cards holding letters that spell "Mom" and "Dad." Those gifts have become treasured keepsakes in our home. The school even brings in Santa Claus for pictures during the holidays, which our twins absolutely adored. This is a true Montessori school. Don't let other reviews sway you -- our experience has been nothing short of wonderful.

My son started first and just grew so confident and learned so many things from this school. My daughter started after and she is getting this blossoming personality and just lights up when she sees her teachers. The owners and front office staff are the best humans and are willing to work with you. The best communication. This will always be the "the one that got away". Wish I could bring this school with me in my move. I want thank everyone at Klein-Spring Montessori for every single minute. You have been one family to me and we will miss you.

I wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world...They are the world greatest Daycare my grandson ever attended. I will recommended this daycare to more people who need a good care provider. I REALLY tried to work with the daycare in hopes it would get better. I recently removed my children from Happy day's because I could not take it anymore. My children went to the daycare probably as long as this daycare has been in the current facility and I've had to call licensing 4 times each time I called was because it was so severe that my kids safety was taken lightly. My kid have been left on a HOT bus by the owner left at school because "THEY" told them he was staying ( I still have no clue who THEY are) but it wasn't told to the daycare by me. When you bring an issue up NOBODY takes responsibility it's always finger pointing. If your child come home and tell you something happened to them there it's likely to be true believe your child/children. I had to get my kids away before it was too late. To each its own but my kids safety is priority and nothing comes before the safety of any children especially when you're in the daycare business. It's too much going on in the world with kids alone to take their safety for granted. An apology is always good but it doesn't change what has already happened. Last but not least they hire the most unprofessional under qualified individuals
