There are unique objects and home decor from furniture to wood carvings to corals - beautiful, well-chosen stuff! The art gallery is one-of-a-kind. The space is in more than one room, and the artists shown are first-rate fine artists. It's really nice to see art along with all the other objects.

The store is messy, too packed with carelessly arranged furniture to even navigate your way through the store, much less the upper & lower levels. I have seen the same pieces on display there for the last two years - the proprietor needs lower prices and refresh his inventory. Like so many other shops in Saugerties, this has potential but doesn't live up to it. Clean up your act, Green. Move out the old stuff, organize your wares in an appealing manner and then maybe I'll be back, and recommend you to others.

Namely, restaurants, bars, and adorable shops like this, which is how we spent a lot of our leisure time back in the before times. Light House had hand sanitizer by the door and masks on all the employees, but other than those much appreciated concessions to COVID, it felt like a wonderfully normal shopping experience. This place is stocked with all kinds of high-quality home goods. They've got pottery, candles, appliances, textiles, wrapping paper, adorable baby clothes, toys, stuffed animals, cards, cookware, and a million other items my wife wants to buy (even though we probably only need a dozen of them). Her favorite things they have? Hand soap, laundry detergent, and dish soap in giant jugs so you can bring your own refillable containers and purchase by the ounce without destroying our environment. (We both hug trees on a regular basis.) My favorite things they have? A really interesting selection of books, and a comfortable couch I can sit and read on as my wife looks at everything else. Think kitchen items (food and food oriented, like recipe books), children's clothing/toys, bathrooms items (soap and shit) and other household odds and ends. Fellas: it smells really good and your wife/girlfriend will like it. My only gripe is that it can be irrationally expensive. I bought a kids stuffed animal for my son awhile ago which was around $40. It was hand sewn, however even so that's a bit steep. Think this as a place where you'll pay a bit more for quality goods and this won't bother you as much.

As a matter of fact, this same address, used to be where Lucky Chocolates was located for a long time (before moving right around the corner). Cute place with 60s clothing, Shoes, Home Decor, Costume Jewelry, Furniture and other stuff. A little pricier than the usual Thrift store but after all...you're in Saugerties. What do you expect? I honestly don't know how often she gets new merchandise, but I don't think it would hurt to check back or call- especially if you live nearby. Rosie- herself had an upbeat vibe while we shopped for a few things. Rosie's Vintage is full of awesome treasures (that is...if you like to shop Vintage). Don't be fooled either...you'll also find modern pieces here too. I figured i'd stop in, leave my lil doggie out front with the hubby and scurry back out. After making the little jaunt to the store, the owner warmly welcomed well behaved dogs! In we go, pup in tow! The "peek" turned out to be an experience that touched all of my senses. So many carefully curated fun, whimsical, & necessary items. I love the fact that the store is appealing to all, but definitely tickled my Gen X senses! If you and your girls want to dress up as Josie and the pussycats for Halloween, you can get that vintage Josie and the pussycats necklace set here. 70s retro devil mask, check! Cat earrings that I just had to get, absolutely! There's a fun downstairs section that's filled with unique and retro things for the home! (Pink princess telephone, i'm looking at you!) Buyer Beware. In my past 30 years of various home improvements and renovations, I've usually been…read morevery happy with the people and businesses I've dealt with. Marigold Home was a glaring exception. If you buy something in the shop, with a price tag on it, you'll be fine. But if you get into any ordering with them, WATCH OUT! I attempted to buy Hunter Douglas window treatments from them. I'd bought them for our apartment in Brooklyn and was very happy with the entire experience. The experience with Marigold Home was completely different. Most businesses, when you're placing a special order, will write up a quote, detailing what you're purchasing and how much you'll pay for it. Not Marigold. They don't want to give you that because they say people might take that and go elsewhere for a better price. It was my mistake for not stopping right there. I allowed myself to be gullible and believe they were an honest business. After they took my deposit and placed the order, only then, and only after I requested it three more times, was I given a printed quote. Even then, it wasn't as detailed as what I'd gotten from the dealer in Brooklyn (L.W.P. Home Products) before they'd asked for any money from me. Just to assure myself Marigold's price was somewhere in the ball park (because it had seemed so expensive right from the start), I submitted a request to LWP, without telling them I'd already had a quote, because I didn't want LWP to give me a competitive quote, just the usual quote they would give. They did so right away, and it was literally HALF the price Marigold was charging. (I called LWP then and told them what was going on. They said they could arrange a local installer to do the installation. If only I'd called them first, I'd never have had to have this awful experience!!!! But of course it was too late by then, as I'd already been fleeced of my deposit.) Most, if not all, Hunter Douglas dealerships give discounts off the "Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price." Not Marigold. Not only don't they give any discount, they also add exorbitant installation costs ($400 for approximately one hour's work) and "freight" charges (around $200) that I wasn't charged for by the other dealer. In the end, I was so disgusted with Marigold that I didn't take the shades. I paid the deposit, which covered their costs with Hunter Douglas, their "freight," Maria's time in coming to my house to measure my 7 small windows (four of which were all the same size anyway), and left enough over for Maria and her husband to have several expensive dinners out. That was about $1500., but it would have cost me another $1500. to have the shades. It was a painful and expensive lesson in being gullible, but I will never make that mistake again. I will eventually deal with the shades the way I have in the past, by going to Home Depot and ordering shades which I will install myself. Unfortunately. There are other local dealerships for Hunter Douglas - and whatever other products Marigold Home carries - and I strongly suggest you check around before ordering anything from Marigold.

More importantly, when they installed the drapes, one of the trim pieces was frayed at the bottom. It looks like they ran out of trim and tried to make it work. Clearly an incompetent job...designer mismeasured the drape length and the fabrication was botched. An amateur job at best, and I am very disappointed I spent so much money and now have drapes that are too short and frayed. see photos. Avoid this business at all costs.

Appalling service. Two sisters own the establishment. One is the designer. She was never available…read more 2 times she did not show for the appointment and was instead handed off to the other sister, who was very nice but knew nothing about the fabrics or options. Then weeks after our request, the absent designer had her sister show us 5 fabrics, one of which we liked but then it turned out to be out of stock, wasting another week of our time. They may be good but clearly $3-4,000 reupholstery projects are not of interest to them.
