As a student, something that shouldn't be a stress to me is the house I'm staying at. I understand…read morethat I am a student but I'm still giving my money and renting from them so I deserve the same amount of respect as non-student renters. We moved into a broken house last May, with many broken appliances - cupboards, broken microwave handle (fridge was broken and my roommates and I lost combined $200 of food the first month), no hot water which was not fixed for a month, no cable since we have moved in even though we pay for it in our rent, multiple wifi issues which wifi is very important and I rely on it for my education. Not all, but some of the ones who came and fixed stuff at our house were rude and made it seem like them being there was a nuisance. Any email we sent that was respectful was replied to with a threat or in a disrespectful manner. I could go on and on, but the point is that my roommates and I have an awful year and by the looks at all the reviews I've seen, so have many students. I promise you I will never be renting from these people again and I hope those who see this and future students do the same. Please under no circumstances choose to rent with these people, you will regret it.
