I have been going to Fountain Nails for years after trying many other nail salons in the area. They are the best.

do not go here they use dirty tools. I got a bad infection and they did not care when I called them. They said oh it's OK just put Neosporin on it while it was very bad and I would never go there. read more

Update: I called ahead and asked if they were busy for a walk in. The guy told me I could go in at 12:30pm. Got there at 12:30 and was seated right away. Nice. The lady that did my nails was very sweet and had a conversed with me. At first, I felt like she was doing a great job until she painted the color. I wanted a round shape (I did get that) but some of my nails looked "bubbly" and not even/flat (but this was after I had already left) Some of my nails are perfect, my thumbs and pinky, meh. After I paid and got into my car, I looked at my nails again and seen I had a couple black dots on my middle finger. How do you not notice this when you're painting my nail?? Will not return to this salon again. So far, the best nail salon I've been to is Brighton Nail Salon - will be using their services from now on. ** my nails shown below are from my first visit. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes you do have to wait considering how small the staff is and how busy they can get when they accept walk ins. They are constantly working and are a great small business that is owned by a local family. They are very affordable as well. When I go, normally a full gel set and pedicure runs me $85 total, I've paid that much for just a basic full set in Brighton. It's a wonderful place to go, somewhere I have gone on and off to for years, as well as my grandmother and mother. Would recommend for a great mother daughter day. I've been coming here for years it's the only nail salon I trust! I ask for Tina whenever she possible; she always does my manicures so well that they last at least 3 weeks! Don't expect anything fancy though, they are there to get you in and out. read more

Have been going here for several years! The service has gotten worse through time. They weren't busy but it took less than 15 minutes to do my pedicure and then he couldn't get me out of the chair quick enough! Was very disappointed this time and will find somewhere else to go!! Very nice employees. I've always had quality services here. They always accommodate walk- ins and don't mind changing a color when they start if you don't like it. They are gentle taking off old gel Polish so the nail bed doesn't get damaged. A friendly place to go. read more

I really liked this place. The staff was right mix of friendly and quiet for me. I'm not much into small talk but I do enjoy the pleasantries. The young lady who did my pedicure was thorough, quick, and did a great job with my pedicure. The prices were on par for the area as well. I had a regular pedicure with a nail design which came out to $30 plus tip. I would give a 5 but I feel like their color selection was a little lacking and they didn't have any design choice examples. I will definitely be back. read more

it was my first time getting my nails done by myself, the lady had called me over and i sat down. and she just started to do acrylics on me. she didn't even ask for what i wanted and just did them any ways. she totally took advantage of me and now i'm stuck with nails i don't want. wouldn't recommend. read more

This place must've changed ownership over the past couple of years because I've been coming here since high school (9ish years) and the last two or three times have been AWFUL. And I feel bad writing this review because the guy I had last was super nice. Color selection wasn't the best... I wanted to get dark green and silver, but all they had was some bright green. Settled for it. He then fixed some cracks on my nails with super glue, but got it all over my fingers so now I have super glue on my fingers. Asked him to fix it three times and he couldn't understand what I was talking about so I finally let it go. Then he was cutting my cuticles and cut one too short and it started bleeding. Super painful, but he said sorry, put some liquid bandaid on it and moved on. Also, an hour for a shellac manicure and there were technicians sitting around, so it wasn't busy. I don't know... the place was fine in high school for a quick mani pedi and they did a decent job for school dances. It was also $30 for the shellac, which seems kind of steep to me. I think the most I've ever paid is around $20-$25. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. my first time coming was amazing experience. they were very kid friendly and my nails looks amazing Along with my friends. I just went into there on Thursday I asked for French tips my nails look completely horrible. they looked as if a child had done them. my baby was crying and the lady refused to let me settle her, to where I had to rock her car seat with my foot. the nails were so bad I asked to come in and get them fixed. When I went in to get them I asked if they wanted to take them off to fix them or just paint over them the lady had said just paint over them. then once I was done they tried to charge me 20$ to fix there mistake! Just to explain more they charged me 40$ for french tips when I originally came in then tried to charge me another 20 when I came in to get them fix. all they did was paint them. my friend had got ombré nails and only paid 50$ so why would I be paying 60$ for the simplest thing in the world. on top of that they started to argue with me and laugh mocking me. I was very unsatisfied and have no words for the poor service I has receive. read more

I have lived in Hartland for most of my life and never came to this place so I decided to give it a shot bc it's close and the only one in town. First, their color section is awful, disorganized and they use drugstore brands (also opi). I normally go to various locations of Luv nail salons and their polish options are sorted by colors and brand and they use 2 brands: opi and essie. A lady and I both sit in chairs at the same time and as I'm thinking "this water is cold" she asked me if my water was also cold, which I told her yes. I asked the guy to please make them warmer. He tried. He asked if it was ok and I said no, hotter please. He shut off the water and went to do something. Water ended up being luke warm. I went to turn on my massage chair. I like the "knead" option bc i don't like being bounced around so i pushed that button. The guy intervened and pushed the "auto" button and said that was the only one that worked. I did not like the auto option so i just shut it off. Im pregnant and the massage chair is something i REALLY look forward to with pedicures so I was bummed!! there were 4 other open chairs so I'm not sure why he sat me in the one that doesn't work properly! The guy was very nice....but every few minutes the phone would ring or a customer would walk in and he'd hop up to great them. The only positive thing I can say if he gave a great leg massage. The polish job is AWFUL! Uneven color and messy. I honestly don't think I've ever had a worse polish job ever. I have a wedding in 1 week and have low expectations that polish will last that long. I will definitely never come to this place again. I will drive the 30 mins to Novi to go to a place I always get a good pedi at. read more

If I could do zero stars I would!!! My nails were neither filed or buffed (pedicure) the Polish is all over my skin, and 'slid' off one nail after hours of drying. Only one in, yet when I called this morning to express my concerns they couldn't figure out who was to blame. Two previous visits and same 'tech' did a nice job, then to have this!! And yes, I've also been force to sit in the broken chair (when all others empty). AVOID! Go across the street! read more

Came in here one day because the place I liked across the street had an hour wait. They are nice and friendly but the gel color I got wasn't applied very well. Was left on my skin and very thin, leaving marks in the color. read more
