They do a great job! If I get the shellac on my nails it easily lasts 4 to 6 weeks without cracking, chipping or lifting. This business is now called nails of Michigan? They do a very good job and take their time with your nails or pedi's!! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get their nails done for others that have posted negative reviews, and I am assuming they are hard on their nails because they can easily do gardening without gloves on or wash my truck with out a problem. I was met at the counter by Tron who told me her abruptly he did not know what kind of product was on my nails or the color and they were closed so come back tomorrow when Venus was there. I asked for a design that was on their page. I feel like I got punked. It was done sloppily, I have paint everywhere and after 10 minutes it's already faded. They didn't use enough coats and I have 3 different shapes. Instead of arguing I kindly just paid my money and left. They don't put equal amounts on each finger. Same finger will have different sized and shaped nails on each finger, and when they look at their butcher job they say "so you want more sparkles?" Pretty disappointed in this place. Based off reviews I was expecting much better. Manicure was so so but the guy who did mine started fresh after smoking and I could smell cigarette on my hands. He never had me wash my hands during the process which grossed me out a bit, while my friend in the next chair was told to wash hers. Gel/shellac was kinda sloppy, had to file it myself when I got home. And he nicked me and let me leave with blood all up the side of my nail, which I noticed as soon I got in the car. If you're looking for just okay and fast, this place can do that, but I don't plan on returning. read more

The owners are delightful and they do a nice job on the nails, however, they do not clean the foot baths very well and it scares me. A squirt or two of something in a bottle , then a light scrub with a used old sponge, a quick rinse and the tub is ready for the next customer. They have remembered me and every person I have come with for the past 2 1/2 years. When I got engaged I came in to get my nails done a week later. Actually, this salon deserves no stars. Go at your own risk! This is the only nail salon I have ever been to, and their lack of sanitation gave me finger and toenail fungus, which has to be treated with medication for 3 months. I DO NOT advise going to this salon if you wish to have healthy nails. read more

Not an environment I choose to be in. Since the new owners have taken over, there has been in service and professionalism. There is only 1 nail tech I will ever use there. V is exceptional and goes above and beyond. However what I witnessed yesterday while getting my nails done with my daughter and granddaughter, I will not be returning. Apparently the owner and an employee had a disagreement that prompted 2 outburst of swearing and yelling by all employees. The first outburst a customer interrupted the swearing tirade. Twenty minutes later the tirade began again with yelling by all employees. At that point I intervened and suggested this was not the place. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be in. I will not be going back. The owners did nothing to resolve the problem or compensate anyone who was there for nail services. read more
