"Review #500" :-D…read more October 31, 2024 On Friday October 4th I attended a Beautiful Fall wedding at The Pine Knob Mansion for My Dear and Close friends Phil & Jessica. The main road entrance starts with a welcome sign to Pine Knob Golf Course. The winding road will lead you pass the greens with golfers, then several expensive residential homes. There are two venue banquet buildings called The Carriage and this one called The Pine Knob Mansion. Both have valet parking service at their entrance doors. My photos attached will show how wonderful this place was from start to finish. The ceremony was outside in the Garden Gazebo area overlooking the ski lifts and property of Pine Knob with fold up chairs on the grass area. This venue can accommodate all seasons of the year for many memorable and personal events. The outdoor brick patio was large enough for both cocktail hour after ceremony and again in the evening with a DJ for music and dancing. The Bride and Groom performed their special dances together on it plus with their parents. The wedding and party time continued till midnight! The efficient servers were very attentive when eating the plated sit-down dinner. They also served refill of waters quickly too. The Formal banquet room was very elegant with Chiavari Chairs, along with great lighting. Check out my attached photos of Jess and Phil's special and lovely wedding which expresses it all! The Food was Fantastic and Oh My Deeeelicious along with Great plate presentation! This location can be found on The Knot and has different price packages based on your event for food and desserts. My Friends Phi and Jess opted to bring in their own seasonal desserts with cider and donuts along with mini parfait desserts for that special Fall Style Theme. They said they would call 3 days before the party to confirm head count & menu, they never called. I called all day 2 days prior, finally made one last call before heading there in person & they finally answered. During the party, I had to basically take care of everything. Never once did anyone come and ask if we needed anything. I had to walk away from our party, find an available staff member (which usually ment waiting in a line) & ask for them for every single thing. To bring pitchers of drinks (if refills were needed I had to go to the bar & get them refilled myself), the food was late coming out so I had to go find a person to bring out the food (it had clearly been sitting in the back, it was barely warm), etc. Do not expect to be sitting and enjoying your kids during their party or socializing with guests very much, you will be making sure everything is being handled & walking around looking for staff or waiting in line. I will say, all of my interactions with staff were polite and positive. They are handling the chaos of the place very well. At the end of the day, it was nice to not have to clean up or have a party at our home, but I don't feel I was able to really enjoy my guests or experience the party with my kids because I was running around making sure everything was being taken care of. My advice to the bowling alley would be to assign a host/staff member specifically to facilitate all the parties to make sure everything is running smoothly. Actually check on your guests who are spending hundreds of dollars in your business. A little customer service could go a long way.

He accompanied us to the hole 10 tee box, where we passed the group ahead of us because they were still finishing 9. As soon as he left us he went back and turned the sprinklers off. So, now we had to wait. It completely ruined the experience for us to the point that we could not enjoy the remainder of the day. I thought he targeted us, but when I spoke to staff members, they said he ruins everyone's time here. They said that he ruins their tips because he upsets so many people. I have no idea why someone like this would be permitted to work in the hospitality field. This was over a $600 round for my team and we feel completely robbed of the experience. Such a beautiful track and the greens rolled so good, but once someone upsets us that much, its hard to relax and focus back on the game. Especially when he kept poking around. I reported the interaction and the pro shop manager said to ga back and play 9, but we were so over it by then. I have reached through the website to see if they will make it up to us.
