Melissa is simply great! She not only switched around her schedule to accommodate me, she also checked in with me while I was in the hospital to make sure we were still on track with the picture time( newborn pics are usually taken within 2 weeks of the baby's birth). On the creative end she listened to my ideas and did her hardest to recreate my vision. I wanted lots of colors and a picture created with Diwali(festival of lights) theme in mind. Melissa did not the necessary research and even went to purchase several items to make things happen perfectly. During the day of the shoot she as quick,efficient and truly a baby whisperer. My baby slept through the entire shoot! Her studio is also perfect with the temperature adjust for the baby's comfort. She has diapers, breast pump, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, in short all essentials needed for new moms and babies. She also has a nook for snacks for the parents and outfit options for moms to wear at the shoot. I also got my pictures within 2 weeks which was amazing. Additionally, even after getting the pictures I was not happy with one particular picture and Melissa did her damnest to make it better including offering to retake the pic. Overall: I loved working with Melissa and will definitely keep going back to her for more professional pictures.

After interviewing a few others, she was clearly the best choice for me and my husband. As someone planning a wedding in Atlanta from another city, she was responsive to calls and emails, answering every question that I had. We met her for engagement photos when we were in Atlanta one weekend, and those turned out amazing! She really made us feel comfortable, as both of us hadn't spent much time in front of a camera. She attended our final walk through to get to know our venue better, which meant on the wedding day she knew where she wanted to take pictures. Day of, her and her second photographer (also Heather!) were fun and upbeat, keeping everything moving and easy going. We felt so happy during our photos, and she was able to capture all our emotions! Our guests also said that they loved her, as she would dance and had a great time interacting with them all at the reception. She was able to get us some sneak peaks the next day for my grandfather who had been unable to attend, and he cried looking at them he was so happy. The five-minute video and other contracted services have **not been delivered**, despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the business. I have requested a **partial refund of $500**, reflecting the undelivered portion of the services. The business has failed to provide the refund or a confirmed delivery timeline. **Attachments / Evidence:** 1. I have a signed contract 2. Payment confirmation is available 3. Email correspondence showing repeated requests for delivery or refund **Note:** Nicole Barton may claim this is a "fake review," as I see her doing with other reviews but I welcome verification -- feel free to **call me directly** to confirm these details. All email communications are attached for reference. She even caught genuine smiles, which pleased my mom so much she asked me to forward an email to the artiste, telling her what a fantastic job she did capturing something she only sees in real life, and rarely in photos. C'mon, I'm an Asian dad. I do what I was taught. Still, this child will NEVER get into med school acting this way.) My questions were many: "What are the gloves for?" "Babies don't like cold hands. I have to wear these so that I don't wake her up." "Do you need extra lights?" "I prefer to use natural light when possible." "How long does this usually take?" "Kind of depends on the baby, really." "Do you provide props?" "Some, but I prefer to use what's around your house since that shows off your personality more." "Does that mean we can use my Darth Vader helmet in the pictures?" "I WANT us to use your Darth Vader helmet in the pictures." Which brings us back to the pooping and my daughter's decision to christen my hands with a well-timed Number 2. Was it captured on film?
