The first assignment I give to all clients (and therefore gave to myself) is to determine your priorities as a couple. For Dustin and I, photography was at the top of our list. We wanted to take our time on this decision, because when the day has come and gone, all you have left are the memories in your heart and the photos. Dustin and I connected with several photographers and when everything was said and done, we decided that Taralynn was the gal for the job. Not only did we love her classic, clean and crisp captures, but found that her portfolio was the most consistent, meaning every shot was a "printable image" not just a select handful like others in her field. Beyond her talent behind the camera, we were also taken by her down-to-earth demeanor. From planning phone calls, engagement photos and the wedding day, Taralynn continued to operate from a place of professionalism, ease and grace. Here is a FACT about your wedding day - you are going to spend the most amount of time that day with your photographer; therefore, it is critical that you vibe with that person. In my experience - the best personality fit for most clients is a person that is cool, calm and collected - Taralynn is precisely that. I loved having her by my side all day - my unofficial eighth bridesmaid. My husband is a bit of an introvert, Taralynn made him feel comfortable behind the camera immediately and captured his essences to a T. She was the perfect addition to a perfect day. I can't tell you how happy and excited I was to have Krisandra Evans photograph our company's…read moreholiday party. I've known Krisandra for several years. I met her thanks to Yelp. She used to do event photography for Yelp and also provided photo booths at Yelp events. We have many mutual friends and acquaintances. Krisandra has gone on to photograph weddings (her main gig) and do family portraits and other shoots for those friends and acquaintances. Having gone to countless Yelp events and seeing so much of Krisandra's terrific handiwork, it was a no-brainer for me to propose hiring her to cover our parties. I knew she'd be a perfect fit. Thankfully, everyone was on board with the idea and we booked her and a photo booth for our holiday party. Her quoted price was within our budget and she offered to work with me if it wasn't. Krisandra's photo booth and photos were a hit! The photo booth was a lot of fun. We got to choose a backdrop. We went with silver tinsel on white because it was nice and festive. The photo booth came with holiday-themed props. The photo booth had an attendant, Krisandra's lovely assistant Betsy McPherson. There were four pictures per photo booth session and we got unlimited prints throughout the night. Krisandra worked with me to get my company's logo and some additional text to print on the bottom of each photo strip. It turned out great. Both Krisandra and Betsy had fantastic attitudes. They were super sweet, warm, and friendly (that's why I love Krisandra). Betsy encouraged people to enter the photo booth and have fun with the shots. I've encountered many photo booth attendants who just stood there and literally did nothing or they just sat on a chair on their phones; very impersonal and unprofessional. Krisandra and Betsy were the opposite. They engaged with people and really enhanced the party's atmosphere. While Betsy ran the photo booth, Krisandra was out on the floor taking various candids and posed shots and shots of the space/scene, etc. Her pictures were outstanding. She covered the event well and made everyone look good. We got our photo booth pictures in less than a day and the event pictures in about a week. I know Krisandra shot the wedding of a mutual friend not long before our party, so she had many photos to edit after our party, and it was the holidays on top of that. Communication was good. Krisandra and I mostly communicated via email and she was responsive (unlike other photographers in the Atlanta area). We booked her and Betsy for three hours and she showed up one hour early (on time) to set everything up. To be on the safe side, I booked Krisandra several months in advance and we worked together through paperwork and any other issues along the way. For example, the Atlanta Braves/SunTrust Park required she provide a certificate of insurance in order for her to shoot and provide a photo booth for our event. At the time, she'd never heard of such a thing (me neither), but she was able to work with her insurance provider and produce one for me. I can't recommend Krisandra enough for event photography and/or photo booth needs. I look forward to the next time we/I get to work with her.

I contacted her via email and she requested a phone call to make sure we both got our points covered. At first, I was a little intimidated/shy about it ... but I am so glad I did it. It sold me right away! She was just so kind and touched upon a lot of points I hadn't even thought of. She did an engagement shoot and our wedding. If you are a shy person and socially awkward, like me... DO AN ENGAGENMENT SHOOT! Not only will you have a little practice before the big day, but you will feel so much more comfortable on the big day. For our wedding, we had her, a second shooter and another handling the photo booth. Photo booth was such a hit! All three ladies were very sweet. I love Krisandra's style of photography. She is very relaxed/real and NOT cheesy. Engagement pictures were great and I received them pretty quickly. I received about 6 pictures the day after our wedding - she did post a couple the day of , on social media. EVERYONE LOVED THEM. I cannot wait to get our wedding pictures!

After poring over dozens of photographers' portfolios, websites, reviews, and Instagram pages, my fiancee and I, with the help of our wedding planner (Wedding Belles), decided on Leigh Wolfe of Leigh Wolfe Photography. We are very happy with Leigh. We decided on Leigh for a few reasons: 1. Her pictures look great. Her pictures are bright, clear, vivid, and crisp. They have a timeless look to them. She captures events really well. I like the composition and angle of her shots. Other photographers have trendy looks that I'm not keen on (for example, some like to use a "faded" or "filtery" look which I don't want on my wedding photos). 2. She is familiar with our venue, the Atlanta History Center and Swan House. 3. She was recommended by our wedding planner. (We found Leigh independent of our planner as well.) 4. Her packages were within our wedding budget. Before hiring Leigh, we had an initial meeting with her and our wedding planner. We got to know her and take a look at some of her work in person (she brought samples). Leigh has an outgoing, fun, and positive attitude, all of which I think are ideal qualities for a wedding photographer. Her website is a great extension of her personality (https://bit.ly/2VkjKno). When we made it official with Leigh, we received an unexpected thank you package in the mail. It contained a personal handwritten thank you card from Leigh and various goodies including a bottle of Prosecco. We went with the Signature Collection. It comes with a lot of stuff including 9 hours of wedding day coverage with a 2nd photographer plus a complimentary engagement session, wedding and engagement albums (65 images in a 10x10 wedding album, 25 images in an 8x8 engagement album), a complimentary wedding website and heirloom registry, and more. Leigh helped us decide on our engagement session locations. We wanted to do something in Atlanta and she knows the city well. Our engagement session ended up taking place at Irwin Street Market, the BeltLine, Jackson Street Bridge, and Atlantic Station (where we live). Atlanta means a lot to my fiancee and me and I was really happy with the locations. Our engagement session with Leigh was a lot of fun. She came prepared with her holster of cameras and camera equipment. Shooting with her was a breeze. I just did what I was told. She directed us. She told us where to stand, how to walk, where to look, and how to pose. Her cheerful and energetic personality made the shoot easy. She really put in the work and effort to get us some amazing shots. The engagement session ended up lasting about 3 hours (!) which is longer than the typical session. That was because we went to multiple locations and had to contend with less-than-ideal weather. Also, I asked Leigh if we could go to an extra location so that took additional time. I realize and appreciate that she went above and beyond for our engagement session. We met with Leigh about two weeks after our engagement session to look at all of our engagement photos. This was called the reveal and design session. She had taken about 800 photos and culled them down to 91. From those 91, my fiancee and I chose our favorites, which turned out to be 48 photos. Those 48 photos ended up going into our engagement album which Leigh designed with input from us. Since the Signature Collection we purchased only included 25 photos in our engagement album, we did have to pay for 23 additional photos. I did not hesitate paying because I thought it was worth it. Considering the amount of work and effort she puts in, I think her prices are fair and reasonable. Along with the hard album, we got digital versions of the 48 photos and a video slideshow with music. My fiancee and I love the pictures. They turned out phenomenal, especially considering it was cold, rainy, and windy during our shoot. We couldn't be happier with them. As for the hard album, it's fantastic. It's very high quality with extra thick pages and wonderful textures. The album flows well and it feels good to hold. Leigh even hand-delivered it when it was ready. One thing that really sets Leigh apart from the competition is how personable she is. She has taken a lot of time to meet and get to know us as a couple. Not only is she practical when it comes to photography, but she's also very much about the experience and making her clients feel special. This caters more towards brides, but as a groom, I appreciate her going that extra mile too. We're excited for Leigh to shoot our wedding next year!
