I asked for red & yellow flowers including some roses & nothing Christmas. I was very disappointed needles to say- had pine greenery, very few flowers & a Christmas bow. Called this florist on 2-12-23 and had a dozen roses delivered for my grandmothers birthday. They were delivered this same evening. My grandmother turns 96 on the 13th. The roses were delivered dead. Unbelievable. They had to know they were dead. I live 2 hours away. Thank goodness my aunt was there on grandmothers birthday to see the issue and called this florist. They did deliver new roses on the 15th and corrected the issue, That's three days late. What if no one had been there to see this? Grandmother would have only gotten DEAD Roses for her 96th birthday!!!!!!!!. read more

I live in MO and had never used this florist before. My mother was on vacation on a campground in this area and I wanted to send her flowers for her birthday. I figured that they would just deliver the flowers to the campground office for her but they did better! The woman who delivered the arrangement hopped on a golfcart to hand deliver the beautiful flowers to my mother's camper door so she did not have to walk all the way out to the office on her birthday! This florist sent a flower arrangement (wreath standing spray) to my grandmothers memorial service that any self respecting floral designer should've been ashamed to provide. The lillies were closed and the ones that were slightly opened had pollen shedding all over the white petals. The daisys were half dead & you could see large portions of floral foam. It was a mess! Everytime I go to the funeral home its obvious what flowers were provided by this so called businesses because its always the ones with dead flowers that look like they were shoved together with zero care. If they can't do any better they should pack it in and shut down. These people are not designers & give zero care to the service they provide. read more

These were sent to my MIL funeral..I cannot believe they sent a cheap dollar store arrangement that any child could have assembled..they weren't even real! They caused embarrassment to the sender who thought they were sending a quality arrangement. If this is how they operate I don't recommend anyone else use them. read more

Avoid this florist like the plague. I spent $187 for what was supposed to be fresh cut gladioluses. The arrangement was for a funeral for the Mother of some very special friends. I was embarrassed to discover the arrangement was nothing more than cheap plastic greenery that I could have bought at walmart for $20. I called the florist and Nancy said she would get back to me. Used these folks for my wedding, and the centerpieces and bouquet flowers were completely wrong (peach, yellow, lilac when we ordered burgundy, plum, and deep pink) even after verbally talking through and sharing a pinterest board for visuals. I wondered if maybe they were accidentally swapped with another wedding, but contacted them several times without any response regarding that. It was especially saddening as we have so much of the wedding decor based on the floral arrangements. The bridal bouquet itself was poorly made, very sparse and fell apart immediately after the short wedding ceremony. We were able to to reassemble most of the bouquet for the photos post ceremony photos. Also there was no contract, and we abruptly received 5 days (received an email on Thursday night to send check to arrive at their office by Tuesday the next week) notice that remaining balance was due many weeks prior to the wedding. This was the only vendor that required balance due before the wedding, and received a voicemail asking where the check was on Tuesday though the check arrived to them on Wednesday. I imagine for many folks writing a check for $1000 at a moments notice could be a huge inconvenience. All in all, we had great expectations but this major disappointment was quite costly, and left me feeling sad that they ignored me after the fact when I wanted to discuss what went wrong with the execution. In times of important life events where you expect attention to detail, follow through on plans discussed, and great customer service, I would have to suggest that you look elsewhere in the area for another florist. read more

Untrustworthy and dishonest business! Online, I scheduled a flower deliver for my mother's birthday an entire week before the scheduled date. (I have the email confirming the correct delivery date) It was sent the day after my order and not on her birthday. I called to complain and was promised a corrected delivery on her actual birthday as originally ordered. No delivery was made. I called again and I was told I would be given a refund. There was never a refund, and my calls are ignored. The employees say they are taking my messages and passing them on to the owner, but it has been a month and the owner will not call me or refund my money. It feels like an episode of "American Greed" where the salesman promises you one thing, but just steals your money. read more

I Googled florists in West Jefferson for an arrangement to be sent to a funeral home. They caught my eye and as I like to deal with small businesses, I decided to give them a call. Now mind you, I live an hour away and have never seen their work in person. I placed an order for a military type arrangement and had her put all our names on it. (Four families went in for this) Let me tell you, when we arrived at the funeral home we were all in awe of our flowers! They were more beautiful than the picture online and the biggest, prettiest flowers there!! The price was very very reasonable too for such a large arrangement. Hello, I have used four gals and a florist in the past, first time was 4 yrs for a friend that had passed suddenly, she also did the families arrangement..beautiful..and in jan.2016 my sisters and I also used her for our nieces funeral, flower was just ok,,but we didn't say anything, it was close to 100.00..I don't know if anyone that's not from Ashe County, but flowers for funerals has been important, to grieve and go to a funeral see a beautiful flower is a meaning of comfort, So I called Saturday, Feb,16 for 2 vase real flowers for my daughter in laws grandpa funeral, 1 to be given to her and 1 to be given to her mother..even had her to look at the website for the picture..She said yes she would do that she had fresh real flowers, roses, and to make red,white,blue in his honor..and no clear vase, yes she could do that...total price 79.99 each..We went to viewing on sunday evening, and never have I and my husband had been disappointed, one vase had 5 red roses.2 white flowers, and some blue springly flowers, and a flag..looked like it was thrown in it..the other vase had about 7 roses, some white flowers..pitiful..it looked better than other, but the pictures had 12 roses..they both ended up drying up the day of funeral...I had spoke to the owner the one keep mentioning she,before the funeral and was told she would go to ashelawn and see them...and call me back she did nothing..and still Wednesday Feb 27, 2019 I have left several messages nice and not so nice and never called me back..I wanted to use the other florist but all were out of fresh flowers..this is uncall for..I don't care to pay that much for flowers or I wouldn't have ordered but should get what you ordered and paid for...Unrespectfull -shameful- no one should have this done to them...also found out the white flowers were fake.. read more

On June 14 I placed an order on From You Flowers who then used this company to fulfill the order. My friend had suffered a miscarriage, and I wanted to send her a lovely plant along with some chocolates. I spent over $70. I gave her some time and space and didn't want to ask her if she had received the plant and chocolates, but I thought it was odd when 2 weeks later she had not mentioned receiving them. I asked my friend if she had received anything from me, and she said no. I also double and triple checked her address with her and also pulled up my order in my email to make sure I used the correct address. Everything looked correct on my end. I contacted From You Flowers who told me that the ordered had been delivered. I checked with my friend and she said it absolutely had not been received, so I let them know. They told me on a Friday that it would be redelivered on a Saturday. I told my friend and she made plans to stay home all day in anticipation. The order never arrived that day. On Sunday, I received several phone calls and a voicemail from the delivery person at Four Gals and a Florist trying to deliver the plant (19 DAYS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER!!). She told me she was having a hard time locating the house and even said she lived on the same road. I texted her photos of a map from Google Maps along with photos of the house from Zillow, and she was finally able to find it. I asked my friend how the arrangement looked, and she said the flowers were wilted and it looked nothing like the photo of what I had ordered. She also said they have huge house numbers on their mailbox and that their house should have been easy to find. This entire experience has been an embarrassment. I had to involve my mourning friend in this much more than I ever should have. OH! And I forgot to mention that I had ordered a box of chocolates to go with the plant, and they weren't included when the plant was delivered!! If I could leave less than one star I would. I ordered flowers through From You Flowers and this is the florist that got the order. They were supposed to be delivered on 10/10/15 BY noon, which I paid an extra fee for that service. The flowers were not delivered. Because this florist is closed on Sunday, I had to wait until Monday to get any answers. Finally on Monday the florist promised to give me an upgrade for the inconvenience of the flowers not arriving on time, and when my friend got them she sent me a pic of them. TWO ROSES in the whole arrangement and that is supposed to be an upgrade. What a joke! This is one the ugliest arrangements I have ever seen, I could have done a better job making it myself, and I'm no florist. I guess the florist had the day off and it was one of the four gals that made it. My advice is, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND PICK ANOTHER FLORIST!!!!!! I really wish I had. read more
