We were driving back to Cali from Montana and didn't want to make it to Elko yet. There isnt much to choose from hotel wise on the road. It is a basic hotel with a mini casino and little cafe restaurant called Cafe Blanca. People can smoke in the casino but not in the rooms but it's all in the same building sharing the main hallway so you definitely smell the smoke. Says no smoking but in reality the whole place is smoking. The room has extremely thin walls so you literally csn hear other peoples conversations. There is a tv, mini fridge and basic bathroom. Make sure you bring your own everything because they dont give sample size anything. The room was $84 for a one bed which was a very old spring bed. You can not change the temperature in the room since it's in a lockbox. It was 85 in the room all night, so we couldnt sleep. We did try turning the wall ac on and it was extremely loud and didn't cool the room off, maybe a degree or two. It is much cheaper than the other casino but extremely basic and old. Also the windows are glued/painted shut. read more

Room was clean. Needed a stop on the journey as we just couldn't go any further in the dark. Called ahead, they had great availability and an even better price. $70 total for a double bed. AC worked okay, recent remodel with some odd decor. It was what we needed a $70 room to be - clean and safe. Ate in the diner, it too was clean, service was adequate and food was good, solid basic meal. Extra points for the jumbo soaking tub!! read more

Clean floor and carpet, I think, although I didn't run around with white socks to know for sure. We were assigned a room on the first floor and in the back. The window was a little low for my comfort, so I put a chair in front of it before trying to sleep. I believe a moth had a dinner of drapes at some past timeframe, but there was a fan and an air conditioner! There was also a small refrigerator, but when I went to place my ice tea in it, there wasn't any cooling (didn't bother to check to see if it was plugged in). The carpet, towels, blanket (eww, threw that off the bed), were all worn well. The bed was comfortable, but I was awake and ready to hit the road again at 4 a.m., at least that was what one of my devices said. I thought close enough to get out of Dodge, or rather Jackpot. It was really 3 a.m. Warning: don't leave Jackpot that early unless you are willing to dodge human-sized rabbits, coyotes, and mice on the southbound road. You get what you pay for, and this hotel delivers a clean place to sleep for the night at a low, low price. read more

We decided to try this hotel as it was so cheap, only $40 per night during the week. Were we expecting the Ritz? No! When in Jackpot, your hotel choices are quite limited. Cactus Pete's is the largest hotel and casino and has the highest prices. If you are traveling on a budget or if you enjoy staying in a hotel that seems to emulate the style of the old west, then you should check this place out. If you have a great imagination, you can imagine Wild Bill Hickok or Butch Cassidy, moseying up to the bar, ordering a whiskey and then finding a poker table to while away the evening. Maybe, the stakes are high and the atmosphere is tense as the local gambler places three Queens on the table. Wild Bill carefully places his four Jacks on the table and scoops up the pot. The casino action cools down by 4 am as the last gamblers head to their rooms. Unfortunately, the noise reverberates throughout the hallways as there is not a lot of insulation in the walls. Definitely a budget hotel. Try it out for a different experience in nighttime slumber. read more

Jackpot is barely a town and choices are very limited but for a night to stay while on the road from Nevada to Idaho this place did the job and did so well, this is not fancy, but this served is purpose and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I recommend. read more

This hotel is exceptional for the amount of money it cost us ($46 + tax). FOUR JACKS HOTEL was very comfortable and well taken care of with the exception of the bathroom. The shower and toilet drained slow. The room was very current on all the electrical and internet resources. The big screen TV was wonderful as I have some vision problems, I could see it well. We arrived very late and left early. We were able to get great coffee to wake us for our long journey to Bilings, Montana. I wanted to write this review because we make this trip once or twice a year. Most of the motels we stay in on our journey are outdated and just nasty compared to FOUR JACKS HOTEL, Jackpot, Nevada. I recommend this hotel to people who want a good deal in a very decent hotel for the price. read more

On our way from Spokane to Las Vegas, we decided to travel Hwy 93 and ended up in Jackpot, and stayed at the Four Jacks Hotel. Decided to try the in-house restaurant, the "Blanca Cafe". Glad we did, we were graciously greeted and the waiter/owner Eric was very personable and attended to our every need. We ordered a sandwich, which he split for us and it was very good as were the fries that came with it. If we go back that way again, we will be sure to eat there again. read more

After being sent away from West Star because they gave our reservation away, I called Four Jacks. Apparently Four Jacks and Horseshu are both run by the same people. I could not understand what the person that answered was saying because they had such a strong accent, but I got enough out of it to find out that they wanted $69 per night, when the internet sites all said $40 per night. Therefore, I drove another 60 miles (after already driving 560 miles) to Wells, NV where I stayed in a nice Motel 6. Forget this place, unless you don't mind paying a premium for sub-par accommodations. read more

I have to say it was a good stay since we tried to find a room at all the other hotel/casinos which were for some reason booked. My dad, and I stopped here on our way to Twin Falls, Idaho since he said it would be to late to drop on by to see our family out their (time of arrival would have been 11:45PM). We arrived at Four Jacks, and called it a night, and just jumped into our bed. The room felt a little to small for two males both over 6ft tall to stay in. Service of accomadation was great though since we were able to sleep in a bed, and rest up before we drove off early in the morning the next day to see our famliy. Before we left we each took a shower, and shaved in a decently sized restroom which I have to say is not fully freindly for someone that may have a hard time stepping over an at least 2 and a half foot border to take a shower. Breakfast though was great as we enjoyed a big portion of food compared to other breakfast places I've gone to (Denny's/Ihop/or some old neighborhood breakfast joints). Service from the staff was even great, and enjoyable since we could have a nice conversation. I would recommend to come out here for a good cheap stay, good breakfast, and easy sleeping. Only thing I would say needs improvement is to make it a little bit more friendly for the big people. read more

Considering this place only charges $40-$50 a night, it's hard to complain about anything. This isn't the Bellagio or a swanky boutique hotel. It's a roof and a shower in the middle of a baron wasteland. However, some rooms are in better shape than others. My lady and I stayed here twice in a week, once on the way up to Bozeman and again on the way back. Our first room (#20) was in fine shape, although the tub is due to be re-caulked and the AC unit makes an ugly rattling sound at night. Our second room wasn't as kept (I can't remember the number now) - the curtain rod was hanging to the wall by a single screw. The front desk staff is friendly as could be, especially Derek who checked us in and served us drinks on a busy Friday night. If given the chance to drive to Montana again, I'd make Four Jacks my halfway stopping point. read more

No security chain lock on our room door. Also, the room "key" is a plastic punchcard, or really low security. And there was no air conditioner in our room, just a simple vent/heater. It was pretty warm in our room. Otherwise, place is clean, quiet, and cheap. read more

I enjoyed my room, comfortable bed and jaccuzi tub. Restaurant food wasn't bad, but service was terrible. No coffee in rooms, but free coffee at the bar in the morning. $48.60 in the door for two queen beds non-smoking on a weeknight--not too shabby. The front desk guy (who was also the bartender on the other side of the front desk--hilarious setup) was nice, the room was very nice for the price point (though the TV was crappy & didn't have many channels) & was clean. There was a bath tub w/shower, A/C, free wi-fi, mini fridge, good tread remaining on the mattresses etc. It felt safe in the parking lot (well, we parked right in front). Ok room, very old furniture and TV. Well maintained and very clean. Bathrooms have been remodeled with heated floors. Casino is just a bar with some slots and video pocker. Would stay again especially with the price of the rooms ($58). read more

Don't let the very low room rate scare you. Very comfortable room and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again.
