The food is fantastic. It's a great locals restaurant but it's only open 4 days a week. If you are on Pat Booker you got to check them out.

i have been a couple times since my first visit and I think I just hit them on a bad day the first time. Last couple times food has been great, I stick to the Bahn mi which seems to be there claim to fame. I also love their soups, they are definitely from scratch, loaded with chunks and very flavorful! We always get the to go meals, but this weekend we decided to go eat there. For in house dining, it's mostly sandwiches, salads and soups. The soup changes daily. I had their tuna sandwich. Thank you Yelp! This appears to be a family owned restaurant and has been open for roughly six years according to one of the gentleman. The also just opened a bakery next door! Amazing breads, desserts and bagels! Can't wait to try! I had the famous Bahn mi sandwich! The bread was so fresh, packed full of Vietnamese pork, veggies and cilantro! It was probably the best sandwich I have had in 5 years! It was a nice size and super filling! My boyfriend had the Roasted Turkey on the baguette, chipotle mayo, spinach, avocado, and Havarti Cheese! He said it was delicious. We also had a Magic Bar dessert which was awesome! Four Kings is a hidden gem on Pat Booker. The sandwiches are spot on! Although the Banh Mi isn't authentic Vietnamese, it's still a darn good sandwich with awesome flavor! Today's special was a Korean kimchi soup and Korean pork rice bowl. As a Korean native, I was really looking forward to this. I passed on the soup but got the Korean pork rice bowl and was very underwhelmed. Nothing in it seemed "Korean." The ingredients looked like a Banh Mi salad with rice noodles. It wasn't bad though! Their food is very good. Regarding the BahMi ... long ago the meat had a "grilled" flavor and look, the last 3x I ordered it had "steamed" meat. Also, you cannot sub out bread type - even paying for it. You have to order the bread on the side and re-assemble the sandwich. read more

I liked this place, but not so much for the food. It is cute how they have a nice elderly lady dressed in business attire like she is an executive secretary at a 1980s Savings and Loan taking orders in front of the counter on a pad then passing it to the cashier who then inputs the order and takes the money. The paper got stuck in the cheap card reader they have so they were holding up the point of sale. I had the roast beef which did not have much meat and was lathered in so much "grilled mustard aioli" but did not taste like mustard at all, it tasted like mayo which I hate. I ate the sandwich anyway. I think next time I would ask for extra meat and tell them not to put that "aioli" crap on it. Next door is their bakery. Not impressed with the selection and did not like that they had so many baked goods out in the open air. Here, too, the cashier was having problems with the paper on the cheap card reader and there was a line of mostly elderly waiting to be served while the cashier and another girl with purple or mauve hair were fussing over it. Would be nice if they had the social manners to say something conciliatory to the waiting customers. Overall, I think the high ratings are probably mostly people who live, work, or worship in the area. Extra credit is given for convenience, large dining space, and probably the touching Steinbeck portrait of a family business trying to make something of itself which touches hearts as it did mine. I would only stop by if in the area but based on my experience today it is by no means anything special from a food standpoint. read more

So this place is in my neighborhood and I'd yet to stop in. I'm glad I finally made the stop! It was really good. I like the big assortment of chips they had. I had a turkey sandwich on homemade bread and the bread was yummy! I really appreciated how they took care of first responders though. A group of fireman came in and had just ordered and sat down with drinks before getting called out. The restaurant cleared their table and put all the food on hold until they came back. Great local spot for lunch. Line always moves quickly and call-ahead order service offered as well. Food is always on point, lots of different options and weekly specials. This place is the bomb! I enjoy their Thai beef salad and their banh mi salad and each visit, I always take home the bread pudding they have available. The portions are big, food is tasty, and price is reasonable. I believe they make a set number of servings per dish a day to ensure freshness, once they are out the dish is no longer available for the day. They are open M-f until 4 pm and Saturday until 2pm. Closed on Sundays. The bakery is right next door too and they have plenty of options, but I do recommend you get there early to have your pick of the fresh baked goods. It's in the shopping center between Alorica and Firestone tire center. Plenty of parking available as well. read more
