My friend and I were craving mexican food so we stopped here. The food came out super fast and was perfect. Love that they have snacks on the menu as well. It's also such a cute place. We really liked the music and the decor. One of the employees in the back was singing along to the music too, and he had a great voice haha definitely added to the experience. Oh boy I went for a couple of breakfast tacos and ate 4 of them! Not because they were small but because they were good! Small little restaurant filled with locals. Stop by on the way to a project. I was in the mood for street tacos but they were kind of pricey so I figured they'd be large. I ordered three one asada one Carnitas and one pastor. They were good size the asada had less meat than the other two but still was okay and acceptable. The food had good flavor but nothing like a wow factor. The waitresses were very nice smiled and we're very tentative. They close about 3:00 and sounds more like a breakfast lunch place. I'll have to try the breakfast tacos cuz I hear they are good. We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch between appointments. The location is small, clean, and the staff is friendly. We were able to be seated immediately. The chips that came out while we were waiting for our order were thick and crispy. The salsa was tasty but not spicy. We ordered the steak with nopales in tomatillo salsa as well as the carnitas plate. Both came with homemade corn or flour tortillas. We ordered corn with both plates. The steak and nopales were DELICIOUS. The tomatillo sauce was a nice addition with a slick spice to it. The carnitas were a little dry but adding salsa helped. Overall the flavor of the food was better than we expected, would have liked to for the salsas to have been a little thicker, however they were still tasty. read more

I do not usually leave bad reviews especially after one visit, however, my experience was rather unpleasant because: 1. The service was extremely slow. It took about 30 minutes for us to even receive chips and salsa and the salsa was unnecessary diluted as well. When we got a chance to try the house sauce, we enjoyed it quite a bit so I'm not too sure why it wasn't brought out first. 2. To be completely fair, the serving size was decent and the food tasted ok - I have had better but it satisfied my craving for Tex mex. I also did not try any desserts and it looks like the place is well known for that. 3& Lastly. I would have been willing to give this another try had my husband not had a major stomachache after eating here. I requested tacos bear by on my maps app and found this place. I am always excited to try near tacos! The tacos were more expensive than listed on the me u, but that was ok, maybe they just didn't have time to change that...but when I ate two tacos in the restaurant and wanted the other two to go, the already rude waitress/owner? Gave me a huge attitude. She only gave me one salsa to go...when I asked for one more she tried to charge me for it. NOT ok. Too many up charges and mixed with the rudeness...NO THANK YOU! The was just ok for me . I had the ranchero plate & the steak was a bit dry & over cooked . The tortillas were homemade which I liked . It wasn't very crowded & it took exactly 30 minutes to get our food . Nobody came to check on us or fill our empty water glasses until we were already finished eating . The waitress looks at us & asks us if we needed anything & I raised my empty glass & politely said more ice water please . She turned around & started walking away & my husband said can I please have more ice water . She said sure & took his glass & came back with his ice water . I really wanted to give this place a better review as I like support local businesses and seeing all the other positive reviews. My wife and I ordered the street tacos one carnitas the other Carne Asada. We were the only ones in the drive thru and it took 30 min for us to get our order. While we were waiting we saw 2 other customers come in get their order and go. The Carne Asada were ok, I will admit that they come with grilled onions and avocado which most places don't. However the charro beans that come with the tacos were very bland and mostly broth. My wife's carnita tacos were mostly fat. Must say I was disappointed. But I'm still going to give them another try with breakfast tacos and hope its a better experience. read more

I'm so disappointed in this place. We moved here 3 years ago and it has taken us a long time to finally find a good Mexican restaurant in this area. The tacos were delicious and just when we thought we finally found a place I found a bunch of pieces of hair in my barbacoa taco today. It looked like someone had cut some of their hair and put in the taco. It was so disgusting and I immediately lost my appetite and threw the taco away along with the other taco I had gotten. I love this place! You will find several Mexican restaurants in the area but this one is definitely THE BEST! The breakfast tacos are delicious, I recommend the machacado con huevo. They have fresh homemade tortillas and an open kitchen concept. Their enchiladas verdes are so tasty as well. If you've never tried a huarache you must. We sat ourselves at a table and were not acknowledged. I made eye contact with the lady behind the counter thinking maybe they would send someone to take our order and nothing. After about 5 or so minutes my wife asked a waiter for a menu and it seemed as though he didn't want to help us.
