After I moved in and connected the water and electricity, i found out that there were multiple water leaks, dishwasher was not working (landlord still has not fixed it), rotten cabinet baseboards, bathtub faucet was not working, irrigation system not working, and multiple other problems. I think it is very unethical for a real estate agent to list a house that she has not even verified that it is ready to move in.

Over two months has been wasted trying to get the gas line removed. Builder made the request to CenterPoint and they erroneously sent the invoice for a meager $300 to him and/or his family member who proceeded to ignore it. Buyer has had to get back into line to have the line removed.... This has completely delayed the project by a least three because he was too cheap, lazy, and irresponsible to do the right thing.... Why would anyone want to do business with somebody so unprofessional?

When I met Karen, I knew that she was different and the realtor for me. She was honest and friendly. The whole process was very difficult for me for lots of reasons, and Karen listened attentively to all of my needs and answered all of my questions. She really went above and beyond to help me sell the house and find a new place to live. Everything worked out perfectly thanks to Karen, much better and smoother than I could have ever imagined. I could not recommend her more highly. If I ever buy or sell a house again, she will be the first and only person I call. That's how good she is.

The other was never responsive, never would reply to any of my messages or calls (along with the lender I had). I got so upset and almost gave up, until someone reached out to me saying they knew someone that would be an agent for me instead of more for themselves. I took that chance and called Nema. He was extremely responsive to every single text and call. He made things happen for me! I had trouble with a lender not wanting to work with me because our va loan and finding a lender to approve a mobile home through va (hard to find one that will accept mobile homes). I told Nema I believe that I needed a new lender. He found me a lender within minutes. He made things that were so hard with other agents and lenders, so easy for me. He answered every single question I've asked. No matter the time or day, he was responsive. After struggling to find a home for so long with no help, I have one now pending! If I ever buy another home, I will not call anyone, besides Nema. I have never found someone so helpful and responsive in this home buying process. Nema sent me listings, where as the other agents did not once do; I had to do that myself. Nema literally walked me through everything. Nema is by far the best. Five star rating in every area!

I read through some of the reviews and found someone I wanted to use, but that experience did not go very well and I am not going to give that person any free publicity with this review. So I took to Yelp again and uncovered the hidden gem In the Loop Properties - and they did an incredible job for me. I wanted to find a place quick so I sent my information in over the internet on their form. A few hours later I was given the contact information for the guy that was going to be helping me search. Because I am really impatient I also just went over to the office, because I like dealing with people face to face rather than resorting to the phone. In the Loop is in the strip mall on the left side of the street right next to Rudyard's (Waugh is one way only in this part, north straight to the Heights.) As I walked in I met Ada - very friendly. I dealt with Jorge Bolio (and occasionally his wife Heather) in the search for a place to live. They were both very nice, professional, and valued my time - which was nice to have that kind of reciprocity. Everyone kept in touch with me, they kept me up to date on the search, they kept e-mailing the "info sheets" on properties to read through, Jorge drove me out to look at two of the more promising properties, and finally when I thought Houston had absolutely nothing to offer me in terms of what I was looking for: something great happened and it was wrapped up in a box in 40 minutes. After getting an e-mail one afternoon to the effect of "there is nothing here you really want, but maybe you can live with it?" I received a follow-up e-mail a minute later and a phone call. The perfect place and within my price range had suddenly just become available. I conducted a mad dash to go look at the place, toured the property, and made it all my mine with the stroke of a pen and a bunch of dollar bills. The property had been available a sum total of 40 minutes, and not even hit the internets yet, but Jorge knew about it and since it was a GREAT deal, he knew it would not last long so he was willing to be honest that I should pretty much drop what I am doing and go look at it. If he was not great at what he did, this property would have gone to someone else. He knows what he is doing. Because this is Texas if you are non-traditional in any way as you are looking for a place to live: this company is very open-minded, progressive, and tolerant - confirmed elsewhere and by at least one other person on the internets at http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/1635435 the third comment down - so as you are conducting your due diligence on who you want to do business with, just know you are doing business with good people in this office.
