The Staff at Dominion Post Oak Apartments have done it again. They are absolutely amazing and good to all of us tenates. With this review, I would like to shine the bright spotlight on Mr. Kyle. Why? Because Kyle is wonderful. He gives 150% to any and everyone who walks through the doors. He's an amazing people person and relationship builder. There have been many new tenants that I have met now in passing, who mentioned to me that when Kyle toured them, he gave them a remarkable experience. Took his time and explained everything in detail about the Condo for Lease. This is why the Dominion is so special and why none of us want to ever leave! In addtion, we get fun communitiy get togethers like our Movie Night on the 7th. Very classy and fun overseen by Kyle and Staff. Great job! I come down from Missouri to visit my daughter for a week and they do not allow visitor parking in the garage for more than 5 days. They told me to park on the street. This seems troubling. read more

If you have to go there for any reason, I hope you don't run into the community manager Tracy Sosa. she is a complete bitch. the first 2 guys I came in contact with was nice. my company was hired by the courts to investigate a case. I had all my credentials and the guys were helping me get video. she came in the office very unprofessional and denied me access to the video bc I wasn't a uniformed officer with a warrant. we were hired to help out her tenant. she was extremely rude. hopefully I won't have to go back After I get the subpoena and go back to get the video. Certainly has had its challenges with AIRBNB's who don't care about or respect tenants who call this home. Greystar was horrible and now Westdale has purchased the property. They are certainly starting out on the wrong foot of gaining respect from tenants. Pool & Grills are closed with ZERO communication. Supposedly a Frenchie peed in the pool and a 3 year old almost drowned however those are rumors. Tenants pay a lot of money to live here and are not responsible for children who are not supervised by parents when signs are posted. If they have a Frenchie peeing in the pool get rid of the owners. The no communication is unacceptable it's a 103 degrees we want are pool and grills or pro rate what we signed the dotted line for.....Unacceptable And these highly rated reviews for the Sharies and Kyles...... these people have been gone they need to delete them. Not only are the amenities unable to be used since this management has taken over, but the safety in this building has deteriorated. Trucks have been stolen and cars smashed. Whom they choose to allow as residents are individuals that cannot pay rent and individuals whom I've witnessed damaging another's car because they got mad. It is not about criminals coming into the garage, but it's the residents and their guests that you have to worry about. When we put in our 60 day notice to leave the building we cited safety as our biggest concern. One month later after citing safety as a concern, our vehicle was broken into. Again, it's the people living here not outsiders. Pay the extra money and live in a safer building. read more

Management is FRAUDULENT! Beware of your money! The Management company for this property is inattentive in all forms of communication. It is a wonder I even got to see a unit, as they attempted to turn me away with my realtor for a scheduled appointment. There was next a mix-up in the availability status of the unit I wanted. They took a $100 refundable Deposit upon applying and I subsequently did not end up renting there. I still have NOT returned my refundable deposit back. Very unscrupulous. I was told a CHECK would be sent to me. Why?! When I paid with my credit card!!!! It has been well over 30 days. I applied March 3rd and today is April 23rd!!! I have called and emailed multiple times to the Leasing agent, Kayla, with whom I originally dealt. I asked for her manager and was only given an email address. I called back and spoke with a very inept individual who answered the phone and who gave me another manager's email address and told me the manager did not have a direct number so she transferred me. That number had a recording that said the extension was not active. Wow! I am next going to contact their Corporate office. This property's professionalism does not exist and represents the worst in the business. read more

If you are looking for a place to live and don't mind not having any amenities but just care about a place to lay your head, then this is your place, but I don't think that's the case. We moved into the Dominion because of location and what it had to offer. It's unfortunate to live in a building that your AC is constantly going out. Not to mention the elevators being shut down every other week. The BBQ pits don't work, the pool has been shut down for several weeks due to mismanagement. Yes I'm complaining but as a resident I have every right. All our problems at the Dominion are problems that management should take care of to avoid disruption. I won't be renewing my lease as this place has because it's gone down the drain faster than my toilet drains water. One last thing, the pictures that are posted are a misrepresentation of what the building really looks like. I'm also sure they won't tell you how many times the building has flooded and how many cars have been broken into. read more

Dominion post oak was the perfect place to call home. Immediately when I walked in I knew this would be the place I'd move in. I just relocated and didn't know much about houston and I didn't know many people. Mona Lisa and all the staff helped me out and immediately made me feel comfortable. I have been at Dominion Post Oak for several years. I have met so many nice people it really is a sense of community here. The location is great! Walking distance to anything I want or need. Geez. Where do I start.. Broken Elevators, always. Limited Parking. Rude Concierge. You're literally only paying for location because the apartment itself is INCREDIBLY OLD and noisy. They run airbnb's out of the building. so constant chaos. And don't even get me started on MANAGEMENT. They completely try to avoid any problems or concerns brought to their attention. I've been a resident here since June 2016 and in fact the leasing office wasn't even open when I came to view the apartments. I was attending a party for marketing their penthouse units with my relocation agent and I had spent all day viewing apartments. All of them were pretty much the same. What stood out about dominion other than the glass of merlot in my hand whilst viewing? The team! Sharie is fantastic, she went out of her way to show me 3 or 4 units out of hours and there was absolutely no hard sell. Dominion has an old school vibe, it's NOT ultra trendy / trying too hard / built in the last 12 months with a free crappy wall mounted TV... No, Dominion is a class act with a diverse and interesting community of all ages and backgrounds. The fitness center is being renovated and the pool area will be done next year. It's a very well kept building and the maintenance folks are super reliable! The team downstairs, concierge guys and the office team really make you feel at home, they're friendly and can't do enough to help! There's been an issue with trash being left in the chute room, but it's been dealt with, so that's great. The north side views are exceptional especially at night, the prices are reasonable, appliances are relatively modern, with the exception of my dishwasher haha! Overall, Sharie made my whole process from viewing to moving in a complete breeze and the rest of the team are great. The building is superb and the community are friendly and diverse. It is older, but they are working to renovate more dated elements. I'd highly recommend Dominion, if you choose to move in, I look forward to meeting you at the pool! - Jamie read more

I love this apartment! The staff is amazing. Location is perfect. Very well maintained property. Apartment finishes are beautiful. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! They've had 2 of 3 elevators working for the last few months and having to wait 15-20 min for an elevator is a pain in the rear...Especially since it's the only way to get to my apt...Smh...At least make the stairwell accessible to go up if you're going to decide to go half a year with a broken elevator. Although, we did not end up leasing an apartment at Dominion Post Oak (only because we went for a house), we truly enjoyed the tour and services provided by Kyle! He took a step further to provide an excellent customer service and to exceed our expectations. Very personable and resourceful, also I could tell how helpful he is to the tenants from his interactions with everyone around the property. Ok. Elevators are out constantly. Apt renovations constant, sounds like jackhammers during the day. Never ending noise. Pool and garage gate may or may not work. BBQ grills are clean but don't light up. Small parking spaces get your car scraped. Nice view though. read more

1. When I arrived the floor was completely scratched, looks worse in sunlight. Also the balcony will be filled up by cig buds, water bottles, wine bottles, people tend to throw stuff from higher floors. 2. I had two leaks one in the bathroom that dripped with paint onto the bathtub, the other was due to the ac which filled up with water and began to drip on my bed, felt like it was part of a niagra falls experience. 3. The elevators function 50/50. One day they are in a good mood, the rest of the week they are not! 4. The pool... I never tried it haha! It was promised to be completed in may and ended up being completed Aug 31. 5. I cancelled my lease due to moving to a new place. I paid all my dues. However, i referred my coworker back in January for her to move in i have not received my referral yet as of 9/12. They told me 45 days after she moved in she moved in end of June. It is Now September... Very sad... As I did my part least you can do is yours! read more

Five minute walk to dozens of exciting stores and excellent restaurants. The facility has spectacular views and is priced fairly for luxury living. Have a need for maintenance and they are on call 24 hours a day at no additional cost. Staff is helpful always and courteous too. I forgot to mention the beautiful pool area on the 7th floor with a view of surrounding Galleria with a connected lounge area for entertainment functions and a fitness center. A great high rise option in the Galleria! I love how it is located tucked off on McCue yet you can still walk and easily get to all of the Galleria hot spots. They provide great views and accept large dogs. It has always been a hit with my clients. read more

Comfortable and spacious apartment in a great neighborhood. The staff are always friendly and doing their best to make sure things are running well. We've had a few noise problems with temporary neighbors, but have never heard a peep from our long term neighbors. We enjoy using the fitness room and pool deck, and appreciate the social events run by the staff. Occasionally a fitness machine will go a long time without being repaired, and we've had a number of times where the grill was out of propane, but we are glad that at least there is a second charcoal grill available. The neighborhood includes plenty of shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores all within walking distance, and all of high quality. The freeway is only a couple blocks away and the neighborhood is fairly central so it's relatively quick and easy to get anywhere in the city. I'm a realtor for luxury high-rise rentals. I know the market well and have carefully analyzed each building. When it came time for me to pick one of the many high-rise options available here in Houston, The Dominion was the clear front runner. Although The Dominion is slightly older than some of it's competition it is equally nice, more spacious, but most importantly has the best people (both staff and tenants.) I worked with Monalisa when signing my lease and she went above and beyond helping me turn this apartment into my home. Over a year after living here, Monalisa has continued to earn a 5 star rating. Her friendliness, customer service, and ability to connect with you and make you feel at home are UNPARALLELED. The maintenance staff also deserves recognition. Johnny, Salvador, and Jammie are always quick to fix any issues you have. They are extremely kind and extremely helpful.
