Phenomenal! When we walked in we were greeted with the aroma of a smoker and a friendly employee. The pork and brisket were juicy and tasty. The sides were "run of the mill" but the real winner was the blackberry BBQ sauce! We have eaten BBQ all across the country and never have I seen this before so I just had to try it. After passing Four Mile Pig numerous times, we decided to swing in for some lunch. They have a couple tables inside along with outdoor picnic tables. It is nothing fancy, you order at the counter and seat yourself. They have a window to drive up and pick up to-go orders or you can go inside to order. They seemed busy, mostly with to-go orders, but we felt rushed ordering and like the staff wasn't the friendliest. Food took a bit of time, but it was good! A small business that works like a major corporation. The staff is great very friendly and knowledgeable. I truly don't think I've ever had better BBQ. I've been here a few times because it's absolutely my favorite place to chow down at in the whole area. They sell bottles of sauce. (My recommendation is the blackberry BBQ) my favorite go to order is the loaded fries. It's a huge pile of fries with BBQ sauce pulled pork and I always add onions and green peppers. The brisket is so juicy and tender, you know alot of time and love went into perfecting it. It simply melts in your mouth. The staff were extremely friendly and the and there a handful of bbq sauces to choose from. I recommend trying their blackberry bbq. It's unique and just the right amount of sweet. They also have a HUGE barbecue Philly cheese steak sandwich that is really good as well. In fact the sandwich was so big, I couldn't eat it all and I had to put half of it in my fridge at home. Right now, they are running credit card only, but that's probably because of the covid-19 illness that is going on right now. So keep that in mind when you go to pay for ordering your food. The pulled pork sandwich is excellent! I prefer the BBQ sauce cooked in, rather than poured on, but it was still delicious. The cole slaw was a bit vinegar- too tart. The mac & cheese was nice & creamy. The REAL HIT though are the brussel sprouts! Best I've ever had & I've ordered them lots of places. One day I ordered a cheesecake in a jar (I'm usually too full) & took it home. That was very good, & a perfect size for dessert. Not too filling. I keep telling my friends about it. this used to be a food truck and it seems when they became a restaurant they kept the lack of atmosphere with their decor. as for the food, i spent $15 for what looked like $10 worth of food which was uninspired and underwhelming. i've gotten better and more for less at other local bbq places and i wish i did after eating here. the only saving grace they did have was their Blackberry barbeque sauce. they should leave the restaurant industry to those who already do it far better and just sell the Blackberry BBQ sauce. read more

Yum BBQ. I often order from Four Mile Pig because it's pretty quick & very close to my house. I usually order wings + sides. Their wings are more like dry rub, not super wet with sauce, which I usually prefer. If you're expecting sauce, ask about what to order. I've ordered different flavors & I always seemed to get these dry rub wings vs. wet sauce. The buffalo wings were a little more saucy but still more of a seasoning. The fries are always great, very crispy & seasoned! I crave their brussel sprouts. I love the char & garlicky sauce *droolworthy* BUT I don't want brussel sprouts to be the best thing on the menu at a BBQ joint. I would prefer to have melt in your mouth brisket & ribs (which I never see on their menu). We have to drive an extra 20 minutes to our favorite BBQ restaurant for that, so I'm giving one less star. I believe every good BBQ restaurant should have perfected the art of a good brisket. This place is still worth a try and they seem to be expanding, so they must be going well.
