    Pork Lumpia
    Candi B.

I don't know that I've really tried much Filipino food if any but I had an order of pork lumpia today when I found the truck at the Road Trip Market at the Boone County fair grounds. They made it fresh upon me ordering it and warned me it was hot when it came out. I waited until I got home to eat it because it felt like it was still toasty for the drive! By the time I got home it was just right temperature wise and was perfectly seasoned. I really enjoyed! The wrap was crispy and overall I'd try it again plus more!

The event had 10 of us and was eating with our hands off banana leaves. We reserved our tickets in advance for a seafood menu and it was creative and flavorful (especially the Caesar salad and dessert). The seafood and fruit were delicious, my favorite being the bangus fish. We were in a semi private room in Factory 52 and there was entertainment for lunar new year. Service was attentive and explained the meal throughly. I look forward to their next event!

The pork is fantastic, and the bowls had so many toppings that I had something for every bite. This last time I ordered though, I was sorely disappointed. I got a rice bowl and decided to try their fried tofu. The tofu was great, but I only received about 3 pieces of it. My bowl was missing half the toppings I ordered, and was filled almost exclusively with rice. My friend had brought it back for me, so I didn't get a chance to go ask if the ran out of certain toppings or what might have happened. All in all I was super disappointed with this purchase, as the meal was almost $18 for mostly rice. It's prevented me from going back and trying it again for fear of another dinner like this. Maybe one day I'll give it another shot and it'll be better.

It's a very small dining space inside maybe 4 tables so looks like this is more of a takeout spot. Service was very friendly but food took a little while to come out and we didn't get water until half way through the meal. Sigsig: fried pork belly with onions, peppers and mayo sauce and served with jasmine rice. Delicious overall, the pork was nice and crispy and minced, but the purple onions really added a harsh bite like they were added raw. The dish waseven better with some vinegar and soy sauce sprinkled on top. Portion was pretty generous but the $18 price was a little bit high. Halo halo: came in a big plastic cup, initial presentation was just OK. First time trying it and it was pretty good. Was skeptical about a shaved ice desert but they really made it sweet with lots of co densed milk and it had a few amount of mix-ins like jelly candy and a good amount of chopped coconut. Would have liked to see more ube. It's a very unique desert. Again, a little steep at $10 for shaved ice in my opinion. Overall, pretty good spot to try some Filipino dishes

My favorite part was the ube turon (dessert). The lumpia wrapper and ube filling was brilliant - effective, simple, and hits the spot. My only regret was not getting more. My friends and I struggled to find a place with karaoke in Kentucky and we hit the jackpot here - they were nice enough to lend us their karaoke machine! 5 stars all around, come here when it's not busy and ask to sing to Golden by Kpop demon hunters on the machine!
