They are very unorganized how…read morethey run their operation, to start they don't send any confirmation for your reservation and when I asked who would you like me to send the vaccinations to, they said you can email them, when I asked for their email address they said i can find it on their website, so instead of giving it to me i went and looked it up on their website and found the email address so i sent the vaccines to them in the email i asked them to respond that they received them, I got no response. When I brought the dog in (I was hoping that I still had a reservation since they didn't confirm anything) I brought a hard copy of vaccines to make sure they had them, I asked the owner Jeff if he received them, he acted like he had no idea what i was talking about, I then proceded to ask if they could bathe my dog before pickup at 11:00 am he said no problem. So when my wife went to pick him up he was soaking wet not just from the bath but they put him back into kennel run while it was still raining. My dog is a wheaten Terrier and the worse thing you can do to a wheaten is leave him wet because they can matte very easily. so when my wife called me upset because he was so wet I called the Kennel and asked to speak to the owner and the girl at the kennel that answered said he wasnt available. she then said "your wife was not very happy so i figured you would call" so I asked why would you not blow dry my dog? instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding she blamed us for not paying extra for blow drying services. I tried to explain to her that was never offered to me and if it was i would have paid the extra fee. She said i basically should know what services were available (fyi it says nothing about blow dryin or any other details on their website and this is the first kennel that has not dried my dog after bathing him) so after telling me its my fault I became even more frustrated with the situation and my voice began to raise higher and i said this is fricking ridiculous and she hung up on me so I called back thinking maybe we were disconnected somehow. she verified she hung up on me so i yelled this is totally unprofessioonal and she hung on me again. At this point i was just going to move on and never use them again. but a few hours later the owner Jeff called me, I answered it thinking we could talk and work this out. he proceded to start yelling at me and accuse me of using profanities at his employee , when i tried to tell him i escalated my voice but never used profanities he would not let me speak and kept telling me i did use profanities he then told me I can never use his kennel again (oh my what will i ever do) and hung up on me. to be honest I did then call him back and tell he can go f himself and hung up on him.in conclusion all they had to do was apologize for the miscommunication and move on, if they treat me this way who knows how they treated my dog while he stayed at their facility. and any reputable kennel would know you dont send a dog like a wheaten home soaking wet

That was 3 years ago, and he is still there :) Animal House is special on sooooooo many levels, a real gem of a find here in Sarasota for all these fur-babies. Gina & Mahesh are such lovely & warm-natured people, you immediately get the sense that although this is their business, they are also true animal lovers! Their warmth & affection with all the dogs really shows! The moment I open my door to let Hudson out in the mornings, he runs inside with a smile on his face and his tail wagging (and his pink chicken! Ohhhhhh that pink chicken, LOL!!). The facility is always clean, well kept, and run very efficiently of course, but ultimately (for me at least), it was their warm & inviting feeling I got when first meeting Gina & Mahesh that made me decide on Animal House for Hudson all those years ago. They are a "family", and you & your sweet fur-baby become part of their family in every way. Gina & Mahesh go above & beyond for their four-legged "customers". There have been times when one of them will actually text or call me whenever Hudson isn't there, just to check on him & make sure all is well. This really shows you how much they genuinely care. If you are looking for a daily doggy daycare situation, or even the occasional boarding for overnight stays, don't hesitate w/ Animal House. Beyond the facilities, the staff makes a difference especially Nick the Manager. The experienced and caring team treated LOLA like family, providing personalized attention, fun activities, and companionship. The 24/7 staff and a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital provided a sense of security if anything happened to our baby. My heart is broken! I adopted Levi from Donte's in April 23' with an $800 fee. He had been a part…read moreof a Puppy Mill rescue (so I was told) out of Miami. Levi had several health issues but we loved him all the more. We racked up thousands of dollars in Vet bills with several opinions from different vets ~ as to what was wrong with Levi. He was ultimately diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) is a life-threatening autoimmune disease that occurs when a dog's immune system attacks its own red blood cells. Poor baby was just on and off again with meds, pills, potions and lotions with multiple vet visits etc. At one point, I was told by the Donte's Operations Mgr that they would take over ALL medical care for Levi. The owner, Marsha later called and told me she was not going to do this. Time and space will not permit me to list all the details of this terrible horror story! Long story short, I made a call to a staff member at Donte's who told me to bring him out there and they would examine and treat him. So, I scooped him up and headed out there. I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, crying uncontrollably and took him out there in August. Unbeknown to me, in my total distress, weeping uncontrollably with Levi sick in my arms, I was given a piece of paper to sign that said I was "surrendering" Levi to them and could never have him back again. I had no idea that is what they had me sign. I called him every day to check on him and texted as well. I sent him all of the Vet medical records. He kept promising me that I could get Levi back but that he needed "a little more time with him to make sure he was well". I was given dates but that date never came. I have pages of text messages/emails going back and forth with them. I called there to see if I could pick Levi up and and was told that he did not work there anymore! I was in SHOCK ! I then called the owner immediately, Marcia and was told that my baby Levi had been adopted by someone. She wanted to know if "she could get us another Yorkie". Our family is devastated! I have never experienced such dishonesty and deception. They have NO COMPASSION. Our baby is GONE and we will never see him again. TODAY she posted a photo on their Facebook page of the new owner holding our baby Yorkie :( I have since found out that they have done this to others as well. They are liars and thieves. We do not know how to handle this at this time. Please do not trust these con artists there.

I've had a hard time finding a groomer that takes new clients that are older. My vet referred me to Paw Stop and I'm grateful. From the moment we walked in, I knew everything was going to be okay. The place is clean and quiet. It's obvious they take great care to make sure our pups are treated well - exactly what a spa day should be. We opted for the deshedding and light trim. When I picked up Roxy she was calm and looked fantastic! She hasn't looked so pretty in too long to say. Ricardo was so easy to work with. I had to reschedule the appointment once due to thunderstorms. He completely understood. They were ready for Roxy when we arrived and she was ready at exactly the time he said to pick her up. My overall feeling with Ricardo and the team was that they are very kind and truly care. Nothing could have been better. Thank you Paw Stop for taking care of my girl.

I was surprised because she is a very sweet natured dog. I've never even heard as much as a growl from her. She'd had a bad experience with a previous groomer so I thought perhaps she was just very frightened. This groomer told me she needed a special needs groomer. He charged me $40 for a bath and brush. She is brushed regularly amd had no mats. I took her to Doggo Den a few days ago and they did a wonderful job. I told them about the "biting" complaint and they had no problem with her. They said, like most dogs she didn't like the dryer but never attempted to bite. Either this groomer is in the wrong profession, or something there causes dogs to be extremely anxious.
