She'd had a bad experience with a previous groomer so I thought perhaps she was just very frightened. This groomer told me she needed a special needs groomer. He charged me $40 for a bath and brush. She is brushed regularly amd had no mats. I took her to Doggo Den a few days ago and they did a wonderful job. I told them about the "biting" complaint and they had no problem with her. They said, like most dogs she didn't like the dryer but never attempted to bite. Either this groomer is in the wrong profession, or something there causes dogs to be extremely anxious.

As you can see on her chest, I have no idea what they did. There's a big section cut real short and then they didn't even try to even out the rest of the hair to make it look better. They just covered it with a scarf. when I got home and started looking at the dog, I saw the place on her chest, so I called to inquire what happened and the Groomer just screamed at me telling me that I had a bad attitude and I must be on drugs and that he didn't know what happened to the dog after I left there. I called a day before and Andrew was kind enough to accommodate a grooming the next t day. I drove an hour to get to the shop and explained what we wanted especially for her face. I wanted a teddy bear cut look which is a more rounder cute shape leaving more hair around the face but maybe they don't know what that is? You would think they'd know being a grooming shop for so long. Even though our dog had a little matting under her throat area it wasn't for them to shave it all the way up and the sides of her face. I was left very disappointed and can't wait for her hair to grow out. I also noticed her skin very red on neck area. I appreciate that Andrew was nice and got down to our dogs level making her feel somewhat comfortable because she does get nervous I just wished he would had listened to my request and followed through. I don't even know who really cut our dogs hair because he said there are lady groomers in the back. Pics show when I got her groomed back in March of this year (look/shape on the face I wanted) compared to the narrow looking shape they gave her so sad.
