This Review is for the new Seaside store on Broadway: I went in the store for the first time today. There was a delay with my cat food order online, so I thought I would check out this new place. They not only carried the brand of food I was looking for (which is also hard to find in stores) but had other interesting varieties as well. On top of getting my cat food, I found several other goodies as well. Very friendly service as well. I was very pleased and happy I went to check them out. I'll definitely be back often and will refer other friends and tourists that come through my own store as well! Thank you! :) read more

Fantastic do g and cat boutique in Manzanita! They have some wonderfully unique items and fresh treats for your furry companion and loads of great from beds to leashes to toys and an incredible selection of collars. The gentleman working during our visit was extremely friendly and welcoming and very helpful with our questions. A good pet store with a variety of things you might need - for us, that included poo bags and retractable leashes. We also looked at sweaters for our pups, and though we didn't buy any, they had a reasonable selection. They are a small outfit, worth a visit, and small enough to provide quality service to customers. read more

Mini dog fashion show? Cool squeaky toys that even I wouldn't mind being caught playing with? Dog treats in novelty shapes? I never knew there could be so may things a dog might need. The (what I assume is) owner was super friendly. She offered help, but let us browse the store & squeal at mini outfits and stuffed hot dogs. We found adorable leopard prints and skirts. Trust me, I yelled at my bf that his little Chubbs wasn't a girl. Since Chubbs lives up to his fat name, it's hard to find clothes that can fit him. We found a couple here! We settled on a little baby blue baseball jersey embroidered with Superdog that matched a shirt my bf had. She gave us info on dog-friendly places in the area & an upcoming dog fashion show (& you thought I was kidding!). Chubbs was soo happy and I don't think I've ever heard my bf coo so much in his life. He looked darn adorable. Not that a superdog really cares...It's just his disguise... read more

Every time we come into Manzanita this is our number 1 stop. Last year our beloved yellow lab got sick. They were always so sweet and wonderful to him every visit, this was by far his very favorite pet store. He was always so excited to come here not just for the treats but the pets and attention he would get. There is a great selection of products, things I could never find anywhere else. They have an amazing selection of treats that can be purchased separately so you can try multiple kinds to see what your dog likes best. They also have a good selection of supplements and are very knowledgeable about the products and helping you decide what to try. Thank you for always being so good to our old boy and to our new rescue. She loves it just as much as her brother use too. read more

This is one of the best pet stores we have ever been to and we live in Seattle where there are tons of these types of shops. Every time we come back we realize how much we get for our pup when we are here- collar/leash and coats his size (they are hard to come by as he is a 95 lb dobie/rottie mix. We visit the OR coast every year with our kiddos, usually staying in Cannon Beach. This year we chose to stay in Manzanita. Our first day we decided to explore downtown and went into this cute pet store to pick out a couple of toys for our dogs back home. We were the only people in the store and the owner was flat out rude. Clearly disgusted that we had brought children into her store, she didn't utter a single word to us the entire ten minutes we were there. As a business owner in a small town I was baffled. The one thing I tell my staff is to NEVER judge a customer. You never know if or how much money they may be spending. Needless to say, we left without spending a dime and instead spent a good chunk at the pet store in Cannon Beach the next day. I don't remember the last time I was treated so poorly. It certainly doesn't paint the town of Manzanita in a good light or as a family friendly town. read more

Super adorable little dog and cat supply store right off the main strip in Manzanita. I had been looking for rain coats for my two large-breed mutts and was pleased to find good looking, and extremely affordable ones there. Seems like most of the items we looked at weren surprisingly unexpensive for a small shop in a tourist town. Make sure to stop by the doggy cookie bar for a treat after playing with fido on the beach. read more

Good selection for a boutique shop. Cute and quality products - collars, leashes, dog toys, games, pictures, treats, and dog food. Dogs can come in the store with you and the owners are really nice. Wish they had a bit more inventory variety and the prices were a little lower, but it is a nice boutique, fun to browse, buy gifts, and treat yourself (or your pup). read more

We purchased a collar and a harness lead from this store and the collar broke in less than a week. We contact the store about the collar breaking and even sent them photos of the defect. We got advised they couldn't do anything for us and to contact the manufacturer. I would not recommend this store based on the customer service experience. read more

The store is great and we usually get great costumer service. Today the service was horrible. We were scolded for letting our puppy carry the stuffy that she picked out for her birthday up to the cash register. We were told that was inconsiderate. Unfortunately for the business, that snide comment kept us from purchasing more items. read more

I've just been here once. First, I'd advise to make sure you're thinking about this place in the right light. Remember, this is Manzanita, so adjust your expectations accordingly. This is a nice pet boutique, with a lot of options for toys, treats, food and clothes. They offer California Natural, which is the only thing we can feed our dog (allergies), so that was nice to find so close to home. They also offer some cool treats and chews. We got some yak milk bones for Cordelia. They were made out of yak milk, lime juice and some salt. Somehow they bake and/or preserve them, and it kept her occupied for a nice long time. The owner is very nice, has some dogs of her own (of course?), and seems to have set up her shop pretty well. If you have a spoiled pet or want to make him/her/them so, you could do worse than starting here. read more

This is the best pet food place in the WORLD much less the wee bitty town of Manzanita. We so appreciate this place as all three of our animals have skin issues if they get the wrong food. The owners research all the foods that they sell there before they put them on the shelf. They know what factories and the ethics of every company they sell. It is actually rather amazing. How often do you get a place that cares that much about your pet? Not many. BTW they also have lots and lots of dog toys that insure fun for all. They could work a bit on the cat section though. All and all a great place that we are so lucky to have here at the happiest dog beach in Oregon. read more

Customer service was spot on, she helped teach us about the products available to help train our almost 1 year old puppy. We were allowed to test them and shown how to use them properly. They had a large variety of treats, dog food, toys, hygiene products etc. They were great and we appreciated the help and service. read more

What a great little store! Murphy had heard about it from a dog on the beach, so we decided to stop by! Murphy loved the toy selection and got a new toy which he loves very much and sleeps with every night. Loved the selection of light up collars. Owner helped us select the right one for Murphy. This is a great store - and we always love going to see the Newfoundlands behind the counter. This is also the only store we have found that carries Solid Gold dog food (our Weimaraner thinks it's crack). You'll love it... P.S. Get the rubber collars, they are great for the beach and don't discolor in the saltwater. read more
