I spoke with owner Cindy on the phone to coordinate and she was great. We met the day before boarding day to work out drop off and pick up times. The facility is in the lower level of a building right on 101 in Garibaldi. It's very clean and the location couldn't have been more perfect. We arranged to pick up the dogs in the evening after fireworks - Cindy was super accommodating and a breeze to work with. Cost was really fair and the dogs seemed totally happy. We'd definitely come back here again to board our dogs.

I've had dogs groomed for years and I was shocked at how my dog and I were treated. A bad haircut I can deal with, but not bad treatment to my pet. She only allows one hour so if she doesn't finish in that time that's all you get. Price was cheap but you get what you pay for.

We actually came back again at night before we left to get some shirts and sweatshirts to remember our family vacation since they were open later until 9pm on Saturdays. (My normal vet office staff showed disinterest and gave me no advice without my prompting.) Violet took action to get us seen and Pioneer was able to accommodate a same day appointment due to a cancellation. Lindsay took my cat and I into a treatment room and asked spot-on questions and showed genuine care. Dr. Tracy Solis performed a thorough exam and she and Lindsay efficiently and compassionately treated my cat in my presence. I no longer feel that way any longer. Since new ownership took over I have felt like the only thing they care about is money. My 17 year old doge recently needed to be put down. As any animal lover would know, the decision was very difficult but necessary due to his age and not wanting him to go through any prolonged suffering. He was the sweetest boy. I called and explained what was going on and it was time to make that hard call. I was told the soonest they could see us was four days out and I knew waiting would cause more suffering than he needed to go through. I asked about pricing because I have heard from many members in my community that they had gotten expensive with the new ownership. To say the least, my jaw dropped when she gave me an general estimate to put down my very little dog. She explained the process quickly over the phone about all the approximate charges. I got off the phone, my heart broke and I cried. I will never recommend this clinic to anyone ever again. They care more about money than our furry family members. Please do not go here!

great place to re-supply, grab a beverage (caffeinated or juiced,) maybe something from their baked…read moregoods case or a wrap, sandwich or bowl of soup. i had driven into manzanita just to walk around with the dog and decided i wanted to get something to go for lunch so opted for the tempeh reuben which they heat up. it was delicious and filling! i also go a matcha energy ball and some bee pollen because it was right at the register. the people were friendly and its a very casual vibe. they have a couple of tables outside and lots of inventory so if you were camping or had a cooler you wanted to refill as you move further north or south along hwy 101, i'd suggest stopping. i like manzanita far more than cannon beach, mostly because it's smaller and less tourist hype. on sunny summer days there are definitely lots of non locals in town but it's not as crazy as cannon beach, which i prefer.
