Not knowing much about Montessori when we enrolled, we learned that the Montessori approach allowed our son to learn at his own pace building his self-confidence. The approach to learning language and math introduce concepts using sensorial materials that build on top of each other. Our son is now reading and does basic addition/subtraction all before the age of 5. We also like the balance that the school strikes between education and free play and how invested the teachers are in the development of the kids. My son is completely potty trained, thanks in large part to the support of their staff by kicking off the process. They have a unique, open concept with no enclosed rooms and I love that the kids (and parents) all know each other. Also, one of the biggest ways they supported my son is their flexibility with his meals due to a milk protein allergy. They substitute what they can for him and I only bring in a couple of things every now and then to supplement. I'm finding out now that not all daycares are as accommodating! My son talks about them all the time and I absolutely love them too.

There was an issue with a teacher that was reported to state. There was no open communication between the school and parents, everything was kept very hush hush. Parents started to talk and get together and a few of us that were communicating with each other got the notice that they would no longer be providing care for our children. I think the handling of the situation was very poor on the school's end. It felt like the school was more concerned with protecting themselves than the children. There are, however, a couple teachers/directors that are very good and well liked by the children.

I also witnessed the teacher using a spray in classroom because there were ants there. This is against health code, kids can get sick because that stuff is poison. Trust me and take my advice u will thank me later.
