I've had a very different experience than some of the earlier reviewers. There is a new Director in place, although I also had a wonderful experience with the previous one. Both of my children attend this school. We've been here for four years, and our experience has been nothing but positive. When I was touring schools, I visited eight in total, and this was the only one that truly felt like home. Even the moment you walk through the door, it has the warmth and comfort of a home environment. Their learning approach is Reggio Emilia, something I wasn't familiar with before, but it's centered on hands-on, exploratory learning. And yes, that means the kids get messy! They play in the mud, dance in the rain, paint with their hands, climb wooden stumps, and move their bodies freely. It's everything you want your child to experience, so I don't mind the extra laundry one bit. I've also received incredibly helpful parent handouts for big transitions like potty training, and I've always felt comfortable asking questions and getting thoughtful, educated responses about any behavioral concerns. They use an app that shares updates throughout the day, and I especially love the photos--both of my kiddos are always smiling, running, and playing. Their menu rotates seasonally, which has been great for my picky eater who now eagerly tries new foods (who knew he'd become such a soup lover!). They also host multiple on-site events for parents to join in on themed activities. I'm already excited for the upcoming holiday performance, especially after seeing little glimpses of the choreography they've been practicing. Even though Lake Dallas ISD recently opened their 3's and 4's preschool program, I'm very happy keeping my littles at Four Seasons. I know they're getting the attention, care, and education they need to thrive. Both of my kids are hitting their developmental milestones well ahead of schedule. I'm so grateful to be part of this school community and highly recommend it to other parents. read more

My son has attended for the past 2 years and has learned so much. This is the best place for a child to get the skills and experience they need to be a well-rounded little person. The staff are great with the kids and love each one as their own little personality. Great environment for a child to grow. read more

Worst daycare ever! Do not send your child here. They are always under staffed and have an excuse for everything. This place is a complete joke and way over priced. I should have listened to the other parents who warned me of this hitler school. Same experience as the post from 2 months ago and my neighbor also had the same experience. They only want perfect kids attending as it is 25 kids to 1 teacher. They do not tolerate autism or ADD in any way. read more

If you have a child who is ADHD, high energy, autistic, or at all neurodivergent this may not be a good fit. The class sizes were too and there was a lot of unsolicited advice and judgment from the director. Since the first week of school i was told that my child should have more words so we started speech therapy. Later she insinuated that something more was "wrong with him". Over one weekend he had a spill and broke his tooth. She called me at work first out of concern then the conversation took a weird turn. She asked me if he ever cried when he got hurt. I thought that was a strange question, and said of course he did. She claimed he gets hurt all the time at school but NEVER cries, that he has no emotions. I said he had plenty of emotions, sometimes tantrums. She turned it around and said "oh so he can't control them?" Told me he needed ABA therapy. When she brought up his speech again, I proudly told her he's progressed so much and has over 100 words. The director literally laughed in my face and said "But does he though?" Weeks later she claimed he never makes eye contact. One day she brought him to her office to scold him and said that he laughs like 'no one's home' She even mimicked his facial expressions. She has been so negative which in my opinion hinders his development. Over the last 7 months I have signed over 7 incident reports all of which other kids bit my son leaving marks, but I knew this was also just a sign of the age and I stayed patient. Yet towards the end there were daily talks of infractions against my son like "he took his shoes off again instead of doing dance party" or "he rode on a toy car that's not a ride on." They have a chart on the wall with the children's name on it where if you're bad you get a red dot and green dot if you're good. Keep in mind they're 2 so this seemed quite inappropriate and ineffective. Also, potty training seems unfair for late talkers because there is a strict requirement to ask in a full sentence (not 1 or 2 words, sign language, etc) which seems unfair for late talkers in a room of 20+ toddlers. This place is favoring only to those who fit a mold or hit every milestone on target. read more

Four Seasons is incredibly caring and feels like a second home for my child. The staff is genuinely loving, creating a warm and secure environment. It's a wonderful choice for parents who prioritize their child's happiness and well-being. We adored the teachers my son has had since being in the infant room and love our teachers in toddlers.
