The good, you get a nice number of bedrooms to spread out. It's close to the mountain. But that's about it It is an expensive place for a meh experience. For the price we could have easily booked a beautiful updated hotel mountainside with amenities but felt the private pool would be worth it and we like to be able to put our young kids to sleep and hang out together playing games. Honestly the pool isn't great. Even keeping covered all day it was pretty cold to be in it. Basically only the kids swam because the adults were shivering. It's also carpeted with leaves a lingering musty smell throughout the house. The kitchen is small, the bathrooms are outdated and In general it wasn't amazing. Maybe if it was affordable it would have been worth it but at the rate of over $6000 for 4 nights it wasn't up to the standards you would expect. You need to provide everything yourself. Sheets, pillows, towels, toilet paper we forgot hand towels and had to go buy them it's just obnoxious. Again just normal hotel amenities but when paying so much you would expect to have things provided. We rent Airbnb's and vacation homes a lot, to be more comfortable than a hotel and this was significantly less comfortable. The owners are so stringent we were scared to even ask for the pool temperature to be warmer or the slippery ice conditions out front to be addressed after they treated us so aggressively over the phone before checking in. You'll pay a hefty cleaning fee but also be told to basically scrub and clean everything yourself or they will charge your security deposit. I think we paid $550 for them to vacuum? Besides just sub par updates it is frustrating to be spoken down to so rudely and assumed to be some kind of bachelor party when you're just 3 families with kids. If you set your hopes very low and pay half the price maybe then it would have been a worthwhile place to go. Otherwise the pool at cranmore mountain looked great. read more

Let me start by saying that Teena and Russ are very responsive and great people. I had a hard time finding reviews other than the lodge's website when we booked so thought a thorough, honest review on a 3rd party website was the way to go. If you are looking for a modern, luxury type stay, this is not the place. If you have a ton of people and are looking for basic accommodations, this might be a perfect fit. It reminds me of what you would see if you were to stay in a cabin in the woods that has been in your family for many years with no updates or renovation of any kind. The bathrooms are very old, but clean, the furniture is old and in rough shape. The leather on the couches is disintegrating and the benches at the table are so worn out, basically collapsed, that you can't hang out at the huge kitchen table because it's so uncomfortable. The mattresses are obviously newer and EXTREMELY comfortable. There were 3 coffee makers in the closet for use, unfortunately, all 3 either leaked all over the food on the counter or didn't work at all. The owners immediately went out and bought 2 new ones for us so that resolved that situation and they were so quick about it! There is no smart TV in the living room so getting anything but local channels is an issue. We did get a cord and hook a phone directly to the HDMI so we were able to watch CNN/Fox/Netflix etc. The WiFi is terrible when you have a few people on it, this should get upgraded given the amount of people that are expected to stay here. This was very frustrating throughout the stay. The kitchen is tiny so preparing big meals for a large group is a challenge at best. The pool is fine but surrounded by dated industrial type carpeting and windows with broken seals and frost/condensation so it looks like an old YMCA that hasn't been renovated. There isn't much furniture around the pool so you won't be hanging out there unless you're in the pool. All in all, for the price, it appears you can do much better. We made the mistake of having 10 people so we had other options that would have been much more modern and nice for the same price. We expected to have more people so with 15-20 people, it would have made more sense. i don't want to come off as I'm trashing the place, because I'm not. You should just know that you're going back in time to stay here and don't expect it to be anything other than a basic roof over your head with really comfy beds. It really depends on your group size and the money you're spending. For us, we would have chosen another place. If we went back to NH and had 15-20 people, we'd consider it again. The location is excellent, you're less than 5 minutes from everything on the main road. I didn't give it 5 stars like so many others have on their website because it's not a 5 star accommodation. It's a dated, cabin like house, in a really nice setting. We had a great time but this group can have a great time anywhere, we just could have done much better given there were only 10 of us. read more

Our family of three generations had the best time at our North Conway reunion. We are so glad we selected Four Seasons Lodge. We loved how secluded the lodge is- a great break from the crazy of our busy work week. And yet it was super easy to get back into town for supplies and shopping, especially antiquing for me! The drive through the White Mountains was incredible! The owner, Teena was super helpful giving us everything we needed to know about the layout of the house and great tips for our twin 4-year-old grandchildren. The best thing was the private indoor pool for the kids and yup, for us too! With so many fun amenities (karaoke machine, foosball, and Nintendo) the kids were never bored! We had a great time exploring areas including the ski mountains parks and hiking trails, restaurants, and antique spots. Diana's bath and Echo Lake are minutes away. We're glad we were able to stay at the lodge as a family. Now my husband is considering rebooking it for a team building session for his company. Can't wait to go back! read more

I really don't know where to begin with this review. I hosted a spiritual empowerment retreat in the beginning of September 2019 at four seasons lodge. From the very first phone call to Teena, I felt at ease and excited. Teena is extremely professional, knowledgeable and Dedicated to her rental property and all offers. The bedrooms are a good size and have beautiful wood carved beds. Most of them have sliders that open to the outside. The pool and outside area including a ridiculously long and beautiful picnic table added amenities and gathering spaces. The location is ideal, close to everything yet secluded. Teena was available and went above and beyond at every step of this venture. Whether it was popping in to say a quick hello or bringing some items for the lodge everything was a success and I will for sure be using the space again in the future. All of the attendees were delighted with the space, amenities and location. Many are looking into renting it for their own purposes as well. No matter what your need for renting this property, you will not be disappointed. Whether personal, professional, or a quick getaway, this place for sure has it all. Teena, and all involved, thank you for your outstanding space, your fantastic personality and your welcoming presence. We spent 4 nights at the lodge after Christmas 2018. We were 3 generations of a family consisting of 8 adults and 8 kids (7 and under). The Lodge was clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped. There was ample space for people to spread out and the kids to play. The indoor pool and foosball table were both big hits. The Lodge is an easy drive into downtown North Conway, to Mt Cranmore, Jackson & Mt Washington. Between them, these locations offered a great selection of activities for both the adults and kids. We stayed at the Four Seasons Lodge for 3 nights and 4 days. We had a family of 8 which included three kids 8 and under and their great grandmother who is 85. When i tell you this place is perfect for all ages I really mean it. My kids loved the indoor pool and spent hours swimming every day. The lodge has 10 bedrooms and the space is great as we never once felt cramped. There is foosball, Karaoke and I found out on the last day an original sega genesis(I didnt play as we were packing up when I found it ugh). The clincher for me is the owner Teena, she is so sweet and nice. Anytime we had a question she would respond immediately and even called to check in with us to ensure we were all set and happy. The pool is maintained daily by Dale and he was a delight as well. He informed us of some great spots to visit in the area and was so nice and helpful. During our stay it rained every day but that didn'tt matter since there was so much to do at the lodge to keep everyone entertained. We hosted a birthday party for my girlfriend with 18 of our closest friends over a long weekend. Everyone had an amazing time! The pool and sauna were both very enjoyable, especially after a day of taking in what the area had to offer. The place was very clean when we arrived. The beds were extremely comfortable, with memory foam for added comfort. The lodge was cozy, with nice furnishings and decor. It was wonderful having the large kitchen table, and all the cooking and dining implements. We will definitely be planning another trip in the not-so-distant future. read more

We rented this lodge 7 or 8 times when my boys were young, and now returned with the boys and grandkids and other extended family. What an awesome place to get together with family. Convenient to all skiing, shopping etc. The indoor private pool will thrill any kids. Teena takes a lot of pride in her property, and she should. We have been there with up to 20 people, and there is plenty of room for everyone to spread out. So easy to just wake up, fix breakfast, and pile the kids in the car for a day of skiing. When they get back, it's time for pool fun. Instead of renting separate places for a family ski vacation, let all the cousins stay together at this wonderful lodge, it will be an experience they will remember forever. read more
