Overall it is a pleasant but compared to other FS experiences, it needs improvement. We always get treated well at Four Seasons. We have been so many locations across earth. The issue with this location was the dry treatment. Initial room we got was outdated and noisy despite choosing a quiet room when initially booked. They finally moved us to a better room that was updated and nice. The staff would definitely need to be more friendly here. It is called hospitality. Not sure if the weather had an effect, it was the driest air I have ever experienced when we visited. Compared with FS in One Dalton in Boston or the Headquarter in Toronto or the ones in Scottsdale or Chicago or Abu Dhabi, this is why I gave 3 stars. read more

Loved the property, excellent service and spa, pool was fun. Food is amazing here, as a foodie I appreciate they have amazing ingredients and talented chefs in Tavernetta and their bar. Location is great, next to everything. The rooms while nice, are not as luxurious as I'd expect. Small shower, bad water pressure and cheap shower head without settings. Sofa was also a bit cheap. There was no mini bar but we had beautiful glassware. The one time I got room service it was horrible. The Caesar salad was terrible, humus was covered in harissa sauce. After having amazing food in their restaurants this was a huge disappointment. read more

Extremely welcoming and attentive service absolutely everywhere in the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and very well designed. Pricing for everything in this economy is just outrageous right now but $1100 for a shoulder season standard room is pretty ridiculous. But you dont stay at a four seasons if you are seeking a reasonable price. So ignoring price, this is as good as it gets in Vail. read more

As others, we tried the "Haute Chocolate" and it is every bit as delicious and worth the hype! Our hotel room was luxurious, huge bathroom, elegant furnishings, super soft linens and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is close to everything but the restaurant here is also amazing! The pool, spa, service and location make this one of our favorite hotels no matter what time of year. read more

We had a PHENOMENAL off-seasons stay at the Four Seasons. This hotel is just stunning and we were lucky to experience the first snow of the season! The staff across the board were friendly and helpful, and we loved our room (the view, the fireplace and the bathtub were major honeymoon highlights for us!). The spa was amazing, and the food was great. The only issue we had is that the hotel was undergoing some maintenance that started right around 9am and was pretty disturbing in our room. We had hoped to enjoy our room through checkout but had to escape to the spa/bar because the hammering and drilling was so loud. Still an amazing experience and we will be back! read more

My family and I visited this afternoon, We were so excited to try their hot chocolate and came only for that. We were greeted by the rudest waitress, her name is Lluvia. She quite literally snatched the menu from my hand as I was still reading it. I also ordered a side of fries and she removed everyone's utensils from the table as if we had to eat them with our hands. Utterly disappointed. Would never recommend. read more

Positives: beautiful property. Very clean and well-maintained. Super friendly staff. The food was okay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gym was really nice. And the location was perfect--right between Vail Village and Lionshead. Negatives: it took an hour to get a drink at the pool. And when it showed up, paying $80 for two mediocre drinks felt excessive. Service overall was pretty slow at the restaurants. To be fair, I think they were training people, but when it's a slow week and the service is still lagging, it's a little disappointing. Finally, the spa listed a couples massage price but failed to say "per person" in the price which led to a shockingly expensive experience. I also think adding a 20% tip automatically to a massage is wrong. It's what I would have paid, but I've had better massages. TL;DR: beautiful, well-maintained location. Friendly staff. But the food and service didn't match the 5-star prices. read more

Absolutely delightful stay at this luxury resort in Vail! As a residence of Colorado where did air weekend trip for a special occasion. The service on the app for weeks prior to our arrival down to our entire in person guest experience was everything we expect from this luxury chain. We were torn between a few properties in Vail and we were very pleased with our choice. That was very comfortable, facilities were pristine. We did a couples massage at the spa which was heavenly. Room service had a diverse menu through late hours of the night (2am). Location is directly across the street from Vail Village entrance. You are right at the foot of all the hustle and bustle but not the crowds outside of your hotel. We look forward to our next trip to Vail to stay at this lovely place! read more

One of the WORST dining experiences I've ever had, thanks to the unbelievably rude server, Conner. We initially sat at a table where the sun was beating down on us, so we moved to another table. Instead of simply accommodating us, Conner removed all the napkins and glasses from the new table and never replaced them. When we tried to get his attention to fix this, he blatantly ignored us. Then came the disaster with the hot chocolate. He told us it would take 15 minutes, but it showed up **25 minutes later**--to a completely different table! When we asked about ours, he unapologetically said it was given to the wrong table and that we'd have to wait another 15 minutes. No apology, no courtesy, just a rude, dismissive attitude. To top it off, when we ordered a beer at the start of the meal, he completely forgot about it and didn't even seem to care. And when the hot chocolate finally arrived, it wasn't even hot! For a place in such a "grand hotel," this was appalling. Conner's behavior was unacceptable, and the lack of basic customer service was shocking. Learn to treat your customers properly. If this is the standard here, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Avoid at all costs. read more

Wow. This was my first time coming to Vail. And the fact that is was Christmas made it even more special. My girlfriend and I traveled from Atlanta, we stayed a night in Denver before traveling to Vail to get acclimated with the altitude. Christmas Eve we caught an Uber to Vail ($150.00)ish... When we arrived at Four Seasons to check in, it was luxury fro the moment you got there. G Wagon and Mercedes SUV transportation vehicles sitting out front. We checked in and they upgraded us to a Suite!! It was awesome. Two balconies, two bathrooms, two huge big screen TVs (around 65-70 inch).. Living room, King bedroom with a fire place. A walk in closet with shelf space outside of the closet. THE BEST part was the huge bathroom. It had a his & hers sink with a soaking tub, stand alone shower and plenty of mirrors. The property has too notch amenities. The gym was a nice size with a separate room that had peloton bikes. The pool outside is heated with a hot tub and fire pit. The restaurants all looked very nice, we only got to enjoy "Remedy" which is one of the restaurant bars on property. We sat outside on their balcony with a fire pit right next to your table.. They have the best famous Hot Chocolates I've ever had. It had a chocolate frame laying on too of the cup, with a huge squares marshmallow sitting in top. The waiter brings a spout of hot chocolate and pours it on too of the marshmallow until it melts through the chocolate frame into the cup.. SO DELICIOUS!! The property transportation is an A+. They will drive and pick you up from any destination in the village. IN STYLE! I definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anybody. Definitely worth the price. read more

This was an amazing stay for us!! We got in at 2:30am. We were running behind and wanted food service that we knew closes at 2. I called ahead to let them know our eta. We walked into the lobby and they had the keys ready and we were immediately able to check in. The food was in our room and was hot and tasty. Everywhere we went we were addressed as "Mr. And Mrs." Which was such a great touch. We didn't expect the view from our room to be what it was and they were quick to accommodate and move us. The service from the top down was nothing short of excellent. The Flame restaurant was phenomenal. Graciella was a stand out as she assisted our server in making sure our night was great. The spa, the pool, the fire pit, the ambience, the room service, the customer service, the food, the location, etc. etc. was beyond exceptional and made every dollar/cent spent worth it!! Honestly, you can't go wrong with the Four Seasons. But you already know that. I enter hotel rooms with a high expectation for cleanliness and our room did not disappoint. I also like to see how much they value their standards by their choice of toiletries. Unlike my husband who could care less, I personally enjoyed every little L'Occitane product in there. Our bed wrapped us in soft, clean cloud-like comfort, the TV large enough to spot every speck of dust on Hoarders, and the AC cold enough to chill my husband when he ripped of the comforter in the night. If I HAD to come up with a complaint...I choose the hot tub that closes at 8pm. As a 29 year-old, I'm right at the age where 9pm rolls around and I'm choosing between the high thread-count sheets or the oversized outside bathtub. The choice was made for me at the Four Seasons because the hot tub closed at 8, which actually made me very sad...and surprised since it is not a cheap sleepover. And the only other tiny minor inconvenience is that the lights under the bathroom counter can't be turned off, and I like to sleep in cave-like darkness. Overall, the Four Seasons strives to accommodate their customers and they made sure to adhere to Covid regulations carefully. I hope to be back as soon as possible. read more

Four Seasons never fails. And they were smart to build one in this tiny European like village, nestled in the mountains of the most beautiful place in Colorado...Vail. Warm rustic elegance greets you the minute you walk inside. We made our way upstairs to a patio which had optimum views of the mountains and swimming pool. Serene comfort, complete with giant umbrellas to block the sun, wicker patio furniture and a grand fire pit for night time coziness. Adjacent to the lounge you'll see a massive modern fireplace that divides the room into Warmth and Relaxing. Ahhh, I'm ready for a cocktail. A nice seating area with giant leather couches and rustic little cowhide chairs allowed us to sit back, rest and enjoy the views. Hmmm, I think I'll start with some red wine. The staff was gracious, down to earth and hospitable. The wine recommendation was perfection and the homemade Hummus and vegetable appetizer was tasty. A little basket with crunchy veggies and a creamy dip was just what we needed for our afternoon snack. Our fabulous waiter suggested a wonderful Sonoma wine which I can't wait to purchase once I get home. If you prefer your wine light and fruity this one is for you (Gloria Ferrer). The hotel had plenty of conference rooms, so this place is perfect for conventions. Aren't you lucky if you get to come here to "work". The Four Seasons in Vail had been on our "Places to See and Stay" and I can't wait to come back to stay. Can you imagine during a snowy holiday? Had an excellent visit at the Four Seasons Vail, two of my friends and I rented a three bedroom suite, although one of the rooms had issues with the lights, the hotel did give back a credit towards our room. Although I wish the hotel was ski in and ski out, the access to the mountainside Gorsch club is top notch, The concierge was a little slow but they did manage to secure reservations at top restaurants in Vail. I do wish there was pool and spa drink service and a free airport shuttle. All in and all it was a true five star hotel and I would highly recommend it! read more

We've stayed here the last 4 years and can't believe how bad this hotel has gotten. The new restaurant Miller & Lux was not good. Our steak for 4 people was served raw, almost a blue color, not medium rare as ordered. We complained to the concierge and they did nothing about it. What's most disappointing, the breakfast at Remedy. It's become a very simple buffet, serving the same items each day. Eggs, sausage, bacon, & oatmeal for $34.00. This does not include coffee or juices. Getting a table takes a long time and the lack of staff has people waiting too long for anything. The room- we had a 1 bedroom suite. Room is fine. Housekeeping seems incredibly slow. They did not clean our room until 4:00pm. By that time, we were out of towels. The most annoying thing is they don't put enough water in our room. We called for shuttle service and the car never came. We had to use an uber. We've stayed at a lot of four seasons in my lifetime and can't believe this place has gotten so terrible. Fantastic stay, pleasantly surprised! Rooms were great, spacious and fairly updated. Appreciated the quality of service- always happy to help and provide local suggestions. The staff also went the extra mile for our daughter, setting up an awesome tent for her stay and a yummy welcome surprise. Food in the hotel was wonderful, and we actually chose to stay there for most meals. Remedy Bar had nice lighter lunch options, and even room service always arrived warm and well cooked. I have no complaints about our stay! We had a nice room, and exceptional service throughout our stay. I was surprised to hear that the hotel had not been updated since being built in 2004. They are starting room and restaurant renovations very soon. Drawings are up on the wall for guests to see. The room had plenty of space with a walk in closet, wet bar, nice spacious up to date bathroom, working fireplace, etc. we used the on site ski rentals and ski concierge service and were pleasantly surprised at the prices. The convenience of the ski concierge was amazing, especially for us since we only skied one day. We found the staff at the front desk and at The Remedy bar very friendly and helpful. Very pricey for what you get. It is Vail, however. Staff is excellent and very helpful. The valet service could use some training or more staff though. You're not supposed to be able to park yourself, but I drove right in without anyone greeting me, parked, took the elevator to the lobby and was told at check-in that I was not supposed to do that. I needed to get something out of my vehicle the next morning, and had to wait 10 minutes for someone to bring my vehicle to me. The spa, fitness center and other amenities are fantastic. Also,for an 8 year old property, the decor is that of the 80s, far too retro. I understand they are remodeling to get it a bit more with the times, and that of a 5 star resort. read more
