We had a PHENOMENAL off-seasons stay at the Four Seasons. This hotel is just stunning and we were lucky to experience the first snow of the season! The staff across the board were friendly and helpful, and we loved our room (the view, the fireplace and the bathtub were major honeymoon highlights for us!). The spa was amazing, and the food was great. The only issue we had is that the hotel was undergoing some maintenance that started right around 9am and was pretty disturbing in our room. We had hoped to enjoy our room through checkout but had to escape to the spa/bar because the hammering and drilling was so loud. Still an amazing experience and we will be back!

    This is deceptive

Positives: beautiful property. Very clean and well-maintained. Super friendly staff. The food was okay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gym was really nice. And the location was perfect--right between Vail Village and Lionshead. Negatives: it took an hour to get a drink at the pool. And when it showed up, paying $80 for two mediocre drinks felt excessive. Service overall was pretty slow at the restaurants. To be fair, I think they were training people, but when it's a slow week and the service is still lagging, it's a little disappointing. Finally, the spa listed a couples massage price but failed to say "per person" in the price which led to a shockingly expensive experience. I also think adding a 20% tip automatically to a massage is wrong. It's what I would have paid, but I've had better massages. TL;DR: beautiful, well-maintained location. Friendly staff. But the food and service didn't match the 5-star prices.

Have stayed here multiple times and have always loved it! The staff helped my boyfriend surprise me with flowers on our weekend getaway. Our room overlooked the pool and had a great fireplace as well. Large tub and walk in closet too!

Absolutely delightful stay at this luxury resort in Vail! As a residence of Colorado where did air weekend trip for a special occasion. The service on the app for weeks prior to our arrival down to our entire in person guest experience was everything we expect from this luxury chain. We were torn between a few properties in Vail and we were very pleased with our choice. That was very comfortable, facilities were pristine. We did a couples massage at the spa which was heavenly. Room service had a diverse menu through late hours of the night (2am). Location is directly across the street from Vail Village entrance. You are right at the foot of all the hustle and bustle but not the crowds outside of your hotel. We look forward to our next trip to Vail to stay at this lovely place!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I stayed here one night with my fiancé and loved it's proximity to the ski lifts. We are at the bar and loved it, I had the best burger and fries I've ever had and had to try their signature hot chocolate. I can't wait to come back this summer for an event!

The Sebastian, Vail is a 5-star resort located in the heart of Vail, Colorado & it's the perfect place for you (and your furry friend) to enjoy & unwind in the Rocky Mountains. Ross and I stayed at The Sebastian for the first time this year and it certainly won't be the last. During our stay we were in a One Bedroom Residence and we brought our dog Forbes along with us. Upon arrival at The Sebastian, we truly felt like we had arrived somewhere magnificent in the mountains (because we had); the Porte-cochère & lobby of The Sebastian is quintessential Vail in all of it's grandeur with large wooden beams, beautiful stonework, a rod iron chandelier and a blazing rod-iron fireplace. The Sebastian's staff is certainly 5-star and catered to us with speed and professionalism. The valets & front staff greeted us and got us sorted for our stay. Our bags were retrieved from the car and we valeted our car for the weekend - valet parking costs USD 45 per day with in/out privileges. The front desk allowed us to check-in early at 2pm. Check-in is normally at 4pm. Before we headed to our room, the front desk staff gave Forbes a treat (we loved this thoughtful touch). Pets are allowed at The Sebastian for an extra charge of $150 per pet, per stay (Service animals are exempt from fees). For additional details on pet restrictions and to request pet-friendly rooms, contact the property prior to your stay - this is what we did and everything had been taken care of upon our check-in. We chose the One Bedroom Residence for our stay at The Sebastian. The One Bedroom Residence had a bedroom with 1 King Bed, 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers, a dining area, a sitting area and a porch looking out onto the mountains. The bedroom was nice albeit a little dark (but that's me being incredibly picky lol, I wish the windows in the bedroom were a BIT larger to allow in more natural light). The king bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. We loved that there were two bathrooms in the One Bedroom Residence so Ross could get out of my hair (literally lol) while I got ready each morning and evening. We all (especially Forbes) loved the porch that was accessible from the dining area. The view and fresh air gave us the full Vail experience. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee out on the porch and listening to Vail wake up. Room Service at The Sebastian was speedy & delicious. We recommend getting some wine and a charcuterie board to start off your stay. For some late night dining, try the elk burger; it was amazing. The One Bedroom Residence is a great spot to entertain if you have friends and family staying in The Sebastian as well. We ordered several drinks from room service and had a little late night cocktail hour one night - so fun! For photo ops within The Sebastian, the lobby & the fireplace makes for a great bouj background. The Sebastian has a gorgeous pool with multiple hot tubs that are heated and ready to use year round. There are several biking and hiking trails right by the hotel that the front-desk can advise you on. The hotel offers bicycle rentals on site. During the winter ski season, Vail Ski Resort is a 2 min walk from the hotel and the Born Free Express Lift is a 15 min walk from the hotel. There are free shuttle services from the hotel to the ski lifts. The Sebastian offers ski equipment rentals and storage for hotel guests. The Sebastian is in the perfect location in Vail to walk to some of my favorite places: - Leonora - located within The Sebastian. Go for dinner and make sure to get the churros for dessert! - Vintage - my favorite place for brunch in Vail. Get the bottomless mimosas, avocado toast & pancakes. - Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - sweet snacks. The milk chocolate fudge slaps! - La Tour - French Bistro. Amazing dinner spot with superb wines and a fun knowledgeable staff. - Fall Line Kitchen & Cocktails - craft cocktails in beautiful glasses with open bay windows to enjoy the outdoors while you're indoors.

After stopping at several locations along the way, we finally arrived at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail, and from the moment you pull in, you immediately understand why this place is special. As soon as you arrive, the valet staff greets you right away. The Ritz truly offers full-service hospitality. You simply take any personal items you want with you and head inside to check in while they handle everything else. They unload all of your luggage, neatly place any loose items into a nice bag, park your vehicle, and once they see you've made it to your room, your luggage is delivered shortly after. Walking through the front doors, there is a table set up with hand lotion, several different SPF sunscreens, hand sanitizer, and baskets of washcloths for guests returning from outside activities -- a very thoughtful touch. Check-in was quick and effortless. The staff explained the amenities, where everything was located, and then off to our room we went. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, and when we opened the door we were immediately impressed. The decor was beautiful and upscale without feeling overdone. The entryway included a half bath, followed by a dining area and small bar setup. The kitchen featured Bosch and Breville appliances, which added to the luxury feel. The living room had a sofa bed, comfortable seating, and a large tv over the fireplace that made the room feel very cozy and a balcony looking at the slops. Both bedrooms were nearly identical and absolutely stunning, each with: a huge king bed, a large bathroom, heated floors, a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, and double sinks. One of the bedrooms also had a balcony. Every evening starting around 4 p.m., the resort hosts different socials including cookies, wine tastings, and later bourbon tastings. It really added to the overall experience and made the property feel even more welcoming and luxurious. There is honestly so much more I could say about this property, but overall we absolutely loved our stay. If you are looking for one of the best places to stay in Vail, this is it.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Billing and Management…read moreOur stay at The Hythe Vail ended with a very disappointing and concerning experience. After we had already checked out, the hotel added a $181.16 in-room dining charge to our folio that we did not make, receive, or authorize. Naturally, we contacted the hotel to ask for an explanation and to have the charge investigated. What was most disappointing was the response from management. I called the hotel at approximately 7:30 AM to address the issue and was told that the Manager was too busy to speak with me and that they are busy with customers ( we are no longer customers we were customers last weekend). Also the rep Katharine and I believe her name Debby were extremely rude, Katharine was snapping at me to get confirmation number faster, and both hung up on me twice. Despite explaining that I was disputing a charge I had never authorized, I was not given the opportunity to speak with management. I was also extremely disappointed to subsequently be characterized as being "rude" simply because I was expressing disbelief and frustration over being charged $181.16 for something we did not order. I have since opened a formal case with Marriott Bonvoy as we are member and have requested documentation from the hotel showing when the room-service order was placed, what was ordered, how it was authorized, and why it was added to our folio after checkout. Mistakes can happen at any hotel. What matters is how a hotel responds when a customer brings a legitimate billing dispute to its attention. In this situation, I expected accountability, communication, and an investigation. Instead, I felt dismissed, that they were too busy for me and short staffed like that is my problem. I hope the hotel takes this matter seriously and reviews its billing and management procedures so that other guests do not experience the same situation. Still to this date just received the refund and not one person reached out to me to apologize. At this point, I would strongly encourage guests to carefully review their folio after checkout and wouldn't recommend this poorly run hotel.
