May 2026 My wife and I are Marriott Vacation Club owners, and about five months ago we decided to take a road trip from Maryland to Colorado. After stopping at several locations along the way, we finally arrived at The Ritz-Carlton Club, Vail, and from the moment you pull in, you immediately understand why this place is special. As soon as you arrive, the valet staff greets you right away. The Ritz truly offers full-service hospitality. You simply take any personal items you want with you and head inside to check in while they handle everything else. They unload all of your luggage, neatly place any loose items into a nice bag, park your vehicle, and once they see you've made it to your room, your luggage is delivered shortly after. Walking through the front doors, there is a table set up with hand lotion, several different SPF sunscreens, hand sanitizer, and baskets of washcloths for guests returning from outside activities -- a very thoughtful touch. Check-in was quick and effortless. The staff explained the amenities, where everything was located, and then off to our room we went. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, and when we opened the door we were immediately impressed. The decor was beautiful and upscale without feeling overdone. The entryway included a half bath, followed by a dining area and small bar setup. The kitchen featured Bosch and Breville appliances, which added to the luxury feel. The living room had a sofa bed, comfortable seating, and a large tv over the fireplace that made the room feel very cozy and a balcony looking at the slops. Both bedrooms were nearly identical and absolutely stunning, each with: a huge king bed, a large bathroom, heated floors, a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub, and double sinks. One of the bedrooms also had a balcony. Every evening starting around 4 p.m., the resort hosts different socials including cookies, wine tastings, and later bourbon tastings. It really added to the overall experience and made the property feel even more welcoming and luxurious. There is honestly so much more I could say about this property, but overall we absolutely loved our stay. If you are looking for one of the best places to stay in Vail, this is it. read more

The Ritz Carlton chain has always stood for excellence and this location does not disappoint! It's my first visit in a few years to this spot and I'm so glad I decided to spend the points. Well appointed room, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with all the little luxuries. It has a steam room, and outdoor pool and a very nice lounge for chilling apres ski. There is a shuttle to and from the Arabelle where you have a very short walk to the lift. There's also a tent there where you check your skis and poles so you don't have to schlep them back to the hotel. The shuttle takes all of 90 seconds. Wonderful friendly staff and valet parking - free for the first car. Highly recommended! read more

I'm going to go ahead and give this place 4 stars. Why the rating you ask? Well, let me tell you and give you some details regarding the property. There are different types of rooms in the hotel. Some are managed by Marriott and others by property managers. We booked a two bedroom unit through booking.com. I assumed it was through Marriott but we were in a Vail Resorts managed unit. The place was nice. Plenty of space for our group of 4 to spread out. The 3 full bathrooms in the unit were nice. Good kitchen with a good ice maker. Also, great wifi. Very comfortable bed. Steam shower in the master bedroom. Cookies in the evenings in the lobby. Super nice staff! Why doesn't this place get the 5th star? Well, I think it could be a bit clearer with who manages what. When I checked in I asked to put my bonvoy number on the reservation. Nope, can't do that unless you book a Marriott room. Also, no daily housekeeping. Not a huge deal but would have been nice. Also, $50 or $55 a night, I can't remember, to park your car. That's outrageous in my opinion. Hot tubs didn't seem to be at 104. read more

My family and I stayed here for the week of Christmas and the Ritz made it a fantastic experience! We had a 3 bedroom residence which has a very spacious living room and fully stocked kitchen. This common area really elevated our family time on this vacation and the Ritz staff was very responsive to any of our needs for additional kitchen pots or plates. I was really impressed with the Ritz in how accommodating they were in getting to the slopes as well! They made the whole process very effortless! We were able to put on our boots at the Vail Sports downstairs and then take a Ritz shuttle to Lionshead Village where Ritz staff would help us get our skis from the check. I had an issue with my boots one day and the staff were more than happy to accompany me to the Vail Sports at Lionshead to make a switch. We also appreciated the complementary coffee bar in the mornings in the lobby and the hot chocolate and teas available throughout the day (I only wish that they had marshmellows for the hot chocolate!). We were also quick enough on a few occasions to snag some cookies at 3:00 from the lounge before they were gobbled up by other guests and they were phenomenal. Needless to say, the Ritz pulls out all the stops to make sure that their guests are happy. All the facilities were clean and updated but what really makes the experience is the amazing customer service of their staff. We visited with some friends who are Marriott members, and we stayed in a two-bedroom residence just earlier this week which is apparently considered the off-season, but we loved that the hotel was quiet and sometimes we felt like we were the only ones there . It was a wonderful experience, start to finish. The residence is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The views are gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked with really nice appliances so you can cook your meals here if you want to (the coffee maker requires cone filters- we guessed the wrong kind when grocery shopping- just a heads up). The bathrooms are beautiful with a separate shower and whirlpool tub and heated floors! We wished there were more places to hang your towels and robes. We appreciated the TV's in each room and the DVD player too. There are many areas throughout the hotel to sit and gather- it is really beautiful. We appreciated that there was cold fruit water offered 24 hours a day and thought the breakfast was better than expected- fresh fruit cups with watermelon, pineapple, or melon, with yogurt with granola. They have delicious hot tea selections too. The fitness center is huge and has everything you could want- free weights, many machines, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, and things I don't even know what they were! They have cold water, water bottles and towels for you and even newspapers, magazines, and earphones. We took a yoga class with Tom Hays and were all extremely impressed with his knowledge, explanations, and how well he taught and educated us about yoga, fitness and health in general. He was humble yet knowledgable and personable. This was a highlight for all of us on our trip and we all said that if we lived there we would want to do personal training and classes with him because we were so impressed and had such a good time with him. What an asset to the Ritz Carlton in Vail! Every staff person we met was kind and helpful. The concierge desk was great and gave information about hiking, spas, and arranged bike rentals for our friends. Everyone was helpful, enthusiastic, yet not hovering. The valet was also great. Our rooms were perfectly clean. We appreciated a free ride to the grocery store. I understand that they also take you to Vail Village too. There are paths that lead from the hotel to the town of Lionshead and then to Vail Village- up and down hills and past a beautiful creek. Our friend loved running on this path and said she didn't even listen to her headphones since the view and sound of the water was so peaceful. On our walk to dinner in Lionshead the first night we saw a moose! That was incredible. Vail also has a free shuttle bus that is available through the towns- we had a little trouble with the altitude so this became very helpful. We couldn't believe that we could use the outdoor pool even when the weather was 37 degrees! The pool is nicely heated and the views from the pool are absolutely stunning, especially at this time of year. There are two hottubs and they were also great and just a little warmer than the pool, with the same views. The bathroom by the pool was large and heated and also well stocked with towels. The padded chaise lounges by the pool were also plentiful and comfortable. This place is beautifully landscaped in the front and in the back of the property- all around. We had a peaceful and wonderful time here- this place and its staff are definitely top notch. We all would love to return someday. read more

Ritz Carlton's are known for their service but this one just blows it out of the water. Everything is perfect, brand new, incredibly clean, I cannot rave enough about it. All of the men outside are so helpful and friendly, as well as all the women at the desk inside. We lost a beanie (hat) by the hot tub and ask the front desk if they had found one, they had it warm and dried sitting at the desk waiting for someone to pick it up. Just insane service and kindness. Not to mention the 3 bedroom suite is HUGE. You could easier fit more the 10 people in the suite it is massive! Can't wait to return! read more

The service at the Ritz is AMAZING! Every single person is so kind and helpful. They are gracious and genuinely friendly. It's incredible. They have complimentary shuttle service that takes you all over Vail. All of the guys working the shuttles were really friendly. They made great conversation and offered up suggestions to their favorite spots. Inside, the hotel has wonderful amenities. They have warm chocolate chip cookies in the lobby every evening. They have s'mores kits and roasted marshmallows out back. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub. They constantly have different events as well such as a wine tasting, architectural tour of vail and movie night. The rooms are also beautiful! We stayed in a three bedroom villa. The rooms were huge and the beds were so comfy. The tubs were whirlpools and there was laundry in room. They provided soaps and even oxygen if you're feeling a little lightheaded from the altitude. I hope I can stay here again. This beautiful resort is incredible. It's in the dreamiest little town and it's absolutely amazing. read more

We checked in on Monday for a week stay at this wonderful Property. It all started at the curb with the bell staff opening the car door and welcoming us. Checking in was just as pleasing as the young lady was cheerful and genuine making sure the second first impression was great. This service was throughout the week from, housekeeping personnel to the engineer that helped with lighting the outside grill. Absolutely outstanding leadership that produces this level of service.. I came here with my family for thanksgiving weekend and we stayed in the 4bedroom penthouse suite. The room itself was nice and spacious but not worth the money. Housekeeping never came to the room to clean it, change the sheets, or bring fresh towels. I called the front desk and the manager many times and no one would pick up or answer any of my voicemails. For a Ritz the service and the employees here are awful. The staff is very rude and unhelpful. Anytime I asked the concierge or front desk a question about the resort or an activity they would ignore me or answer with I don't know. I called for towels several times and they never brought it up. My guests and I felt racially profiled my entire stay. They called the police on one of my guests for "trespassing." Three officers showed up and cornered him. Even once he gave them his ID and room key the staff at the hotel wouldn't leave him alone. I would stay far away from this place at all costs there's a Marriott right next door that looks pretty much identical to it and the staff seems much nicer. read more

Very disappointed in my stay at the Ritz Carlton after a horrible experience with the concierge desk, specifically Katie Schreiber. We booked a $300 car service to pick us up from the Vail airport, an already expensive fee, with Katie at the concierge desk. Our flight ended up being cancelled and I called Katie to cancel the service. I was assured by Katie that we would be refunded the full price since our travel plans changed and we were now flying into the Denver airport the following day. After arriving at the Ritz we asked multiple times why I was not refunded yet and was told that no one else could handle this situation besides Katie and she was unavailable during our entire stay. Not until after we returned to NY did we receive a voicemail by Katie stating that we would not be refunded despite her assuring we would. We were told after the fact that if we rebooked with the same company to pick us up from the Denver airport that would honor our original payment. If we were not misinformed by Katie we would have rebooked with the same company rather than using a different service and paying an additional fee. As a tourist, we put our trust in the concierge desk to guide us in cities we are unfamiliar with. This incident was shameful for such an establishment as the Ritz Carlton and was handled VERY poorly by Katie. She caused us to spend even more money and delivered false promises to us after we already spent quite a bit of money at the Ritz. Our fee should have been covered by the hotel as a curiosity for THEIR error and misinformation. read more

Although our experience today at the Ritz Carlton in Vail didn't start out that positive, it certainly ended in true Ritz Carlton fashion. My friend always treats her out of town guests to a nice lunch followed by a fun filled day of shopping at Beaver Creek. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff as usual. When my friend asked to have our parking ticket validated at the restaurant, a manager told us that they recently changed their policy and we would be responsible for a $60.00 valet/parking fee. When she explained what she has done in the past the new manager continues to apologize and explained that we would be responsible for the fee. After asking to talk to someone else, our original and very professional gentlemen that greeted us originally (his name is Andy), explained to us that we had nothing to worry about and he would take care of it. We left the Ritz Carlton feeling like we were valued customers so we will be back. We wanted to write this review to let consumers know that sometimes it takes being persistent and talking to the right person to get your point across. We would ask that if, in fact, the policy has changed that management reconsiders this to allow for a positive experience as long as the guests are appreciating the amenities the the Ritz has to offer. read more

Superior two bedroom villa was just Amazing! Kitchen fully furnished with New Bosch appliances, beautifully decorated furniture throughout the villa. HEATED floors, working fireplace, I can go on and in how Prestigious and CLEAN our villa is! We love the beds so comfortable, 8 pillows on each bed! Bathrooms Thank Goodness for clean HUGE tubs, granite through the bathrooms! The villa has a living room and an additional den area with a nice size leather couch and big tv. This was the kids movie room/play room while the adults enjoyed the spectacular living room! We really enjoyed and took advantage of the Free Ritz black van the shuttle. It drove us to breakfast, grocery store and back to the hotel. From valet to check in to front desk customer service has lived up to the high expectations we always have for the Ritz.. that's why it's the Best! We Definitely will be back this snow ski season! read more

Upon driving up to the property, Brian made us all feel like we'd arrived at our home away from home. We'd had an EXTREMELY long day of travel, withthree connections and a three year old and six month old. We were fully exhausted. Brian took care of everything and even reminded me that I needed to request a crib! (I was pretty brain dead!) He made sure I had a glass of wine in my hand right after getting into the room after that long stressful travel day! This experience alone was enough for me to know this was the only place for my family in Vail.. but there's more! The entire staff is just amazing. I'd highly recommend the hot tub, snores, morning coffee service downstairs, afternoon cookies, and the ski valet was amazing! The Ritz shuttle drivers were so kind, efficient and accommodating. They have water and granola bars waiting for you! I took a granola bar skinning one morning and was so glad I did! One day we had an issue with my gear and they were very accommodating downstairs where they keep our boots and also at the ski valet. I'm addition to the wonderful people at the Ritz, the rooms spacious and well appointed. Our three bedroom (3.5 baths) had a large well appointed kitchen/dining and living room area, a fireplace and small balcony (which was used primarily for catching quick snow flakes on my three year old's tongue). We invited friends and their sons along with my mother. Over all, we had great space for our group. The big laundry room was key for gear storage also! This is my husband's third trip to this property and fifth year in a row in Vail. (I should say we've already booked for next year at the Ritz!). Thanks for an amazing vacation! We were here two first weeks of Jan'14 and it was our second time in the same hotel at Vail (we're here last year to). The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, large enough to accommodate six people. The service is outstanding. All employees have a very good attitude, sense of urgency and are very friendly. It is very good located in Lions Head. You can walk to the slopes or you can take a bus in the stop next to the hotel. They have the ski rental in the same building and they take care of all that stuff. The only thing that I would recommend is a good restaurant (the do not have one). Even it is a condo or apartment concept, sometimes you don't want to cook and need someone else that do it for you or maybe you have to go to the supermarket. But in general, it is a hotel to visit every year. read more

I'm not really sure how anyone could write a bad review about The Ritz. I have never stayed in a Ritz before but I assure you, I would definitely stay in this one again. We checked in late in the evening, around 9pm and were greeted with friendly smiles right when we pulled in. Once we got our key cards, we were escorted to our room by a super friendly man (I can't remember his name but he's been there a long time) who knew a lot about Vail and The Ritz. He showed us around our suite, explained where everything was, how it all worked and that help was only a phone call away. I was impressed. Each time I called to ask for a car pick up or had a question, the person on the other line greeted me by name and was able to help right away. The accommodations were amazing, staff was professional and helpful. They were available for everything. I would recommend this location for anyone needing to stay for any extended amount of time. What a fabulous experience staying here! The rooms are large and cozy! The staff was incredibly friendly and take great care cleaning the rooms and even did our dishes for us. The shuttle was very handy and there were always water bottles offered to us anytime we entered or left the hotel. They can take your ski gear to the base of the mountain which is convenient. I also enjoyed the daily smores and daily breakfast with the yogurt and fruit cups! I would definitely recommend to those visiting vail! read more

This resort stinks. Not because of the facilities or the staff - they are more than adequate. But the management is in dire need of a complete overhaul. Managers make promises and then retract them, and then grant them again only to have them retracted again for no apparent reason. Managers refuse to talk to other managers while belittling their guests and feigning non-existent indignities directed at the guests. It's a complete and utter crazy-house of abusive managers playing games with guests for their sick pleasure. My family and I decided to try something different in addition to the four weeks that we thoroughly enjoy every year at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and we booked the MLK weekend in what was told to me by the Ritz-Carlton staff to be the best four-bedroom residence on the property. The property is located far away from Vail Village and is NOT ski-in/ski-out, requiring a shuttle to get to an off-village location known as Lionshead. You essentially need a shuttle or Uber to get anywhere in town, and Uber is NOT well represented here, often with "no available drivers," as it is in such wonderful ski resort areas as Park City, Utah. There's no store, no restaurant, just miles and miles of long hospital-green hallways. Our elite status (Chairman's Club) was never acknowledged by anyone, from checkin to checkout, like it is with SPG and Hyatt properties. The shuttle and porter staff were helpful during most of the stay, and I tipped them generously, handing out several hundreds of dollars over the three-day stay. Our stay was pretty ordinary up until our checkout. At check-in we had been advised that checkout was at 11 AM, and unless we were provided with approval for late-checkout, we would be charged a $500 fee. The evening before checkout we arrived back to the hotel from a wonderful meal at Almresi Restaurant and stopped by the concierge to ask for the late checkout. The kind gentleman said he would have to first ask the housekeeping manager and he'd call us back. We went to the lounge to grab some chamomile tea before retiring and as we walked back towards the elevators the kind gentleman called me over and told me that I was approved for a checkout time of noon. When we arrived to our room, my wife received a phone call and she was informed by a sweet-sounding woman that we indeed had been approved for a noon checkout. Monday, checkout day, and all hell broke loose. Housekeeping rang at the door prior to 10 AM wanting to know when she could get the room and my wife informed her that we had planned on leaving at noon, since that is when the late checkout had been approved by the housekeeping manager. At 11:30 the housekeeping manager rang at the door and asked when we planned to vacate and we informed him that we had a late checkout for noon. He stated that he never approved a late checkout and left. We hurriedly packed and I called for a porter at 11:50AM. At 11:58AM the housekeeping manager called and said that he had approved the late checkout. The porter arrived at noon and we immediately left for the front desk. Upon arrival at the front desk the Guest Services Manager (GSM), Levi, stated that I had to pay the $500 late-check out fee. I informed him that I was approved for a late checkout by the housekeeping manager and that he needed to adjust the fee off of the bill. He refused and I asked for the GM. He said that the GM Jack Diemar isn't there but that he's the the one in charge. I told him to check with the housekeeping manager and adjust the bill. Instead, Levi started to kick up a fuss and stated two different times that I was somehow "disrespecting" him while holding his open palm to his upper chest in some weird dramatic fashion. I was assertive without being belligerent, crass or loud; somehow, asking Levi for the GM, asking him to please call the housekeeping manager and telling him he needed to adjust the bill is "disrespectful". Levi refused to check with the housekeeping manager and insisting that since it was 12:02 PM a the time he entered my checkout that I had to pay the "automatic hard fee". He finally agreed that the account would be left in an open status until Mr. Jack Diemar contacted me. I went to look for my vehicle and the porter didn't even lift his head, he waived me over to my vehicle with his backhand and a flip of his nose, telling me as he stared at his podium that I could find the keys on the dash. Seriously!!! I have never been disrespected by any porter staff ever in my 6 decades of life until now; he left me holding my $40 tip like a stinkin' idiot. Never have I not been escorted to the drivers door and asked if I needed directions - totally unacceptable behavior. We got into the vehicle at 12:12 PM and left that little slice of hell known as Ritz-Carlton Vail. read more

This residence is absolutely beautiful! The kitchen is state of the art, clean and polished and the rooms are perfectly furnished. The pool is beautiful and it's in a prime location in Lionshead Village. They have bikes available for you to ride along the trail behind the resort. Every one of the employees are friendly and knowledgable about the area. If they don't have something or don't know something, they will search everywhere to find it for you. You wouldn't expect anything less from a Ritz Carlton property but the Vail one definitely rocks! read more

Stayed in a four bedroom suite that was absolutely stunning. Had an amazing view but the only good part was the room. Since they are not ski in/ski out you have to take a shuttle service. We went skiing when the place was empty and still had to wait in long lines for the shuttle because they only have two shuttles for the resort. I can't imagine how long the wait would've been if we stayed here during our Christmas trip. When we went into vail village via the shuttle we waited for 30 minutes in the cold to get on the shuttle. You have to wait on the curb because you have to wait in line so be prepared for the cold. We would call and they would say "we are on the way" but would take them 30 minutes to drive the 3 minute drive. Also one driver was half asleep and we had to ask him 3 times if he could take us back to the resort. Worst of all, on March 24th one the driver went on a political rant that was uncalled for and even went as far as using the R word to describe people (the word referencing mental disability). This is very unacceptable and unprofessional. As someone who does not tolerate this type of ignorance I will not be staying at the ritz again because of this. I have stayed at many resorts at vail and this one was the worst in professionalism. Don't get me wrong, the room was amazing with amazing views and amazing housekeeping, but it ends there. You're also not allowed to wear snow/ski boots in the entire hotel. It's a ski resort, and the only one I've stayed in in 20 years where you can't wear snow/ski boots inside. My suggestion is stay at a closer resort near vail village that will give you a better experience for the cost. For a $10,000 stay it sure wasn't worth the money. The only person that wowed us with professionalism was Alex. I have loved the Ritz in the past so if this location could work on professionalism and transportation they would be five stars. read more

The rooms are exquisite. Hard, thick doors and beautiful wood floors. However, our room is facing the highway and so close that all we hear when we open a window or patio doors is the loudest highway noise you could imagine. Quite the opposite of a relaxing mountain respite I was dreaming of. I'm trying not to complain because the hotel is lovely, but honestly had I known the location of this room, I never ever would have booked our only family vacation of the year. I was just dreaming of having coffee on my balcony while watching the beautiful trees and we can't even open any doors or windows because all you hear is 18-wheelers rushing by so loudly it's just so aggitating that it's the opposite of being relaxed on vacation. Also, we are Marriott owners and they asked if we were celebrating anything special when the concierge contact us. We said yes, our 18th anniversary, and there has been no recognition of it whatsoever. Which is fine. But why ask then? We rode the shuttle with another couple celebrating their anniversary and they received a champagne split from the Ritz. read more

Our two bedroom suite was clean and the kitchen was furnished with nice appliances, pans and dishes. Sadly, we didn't understand we were renting from Vail Resorts, a company completely separate from the Ritz Carlton. The Ritz does not cross over into the Vail resorts rentals and this made getting some basic needs met VERY difficult. For example: We needed sheets for the sofa bed...it was after 8 pm so all we could get were blankets. No sheets. Unfortunately we went to sleep knee before we tried to make the beds. The reservation was for two king beds, instead we got one king, two twins and a broken sofa bed. This made it uncomfortable for some people in our party. Not what we expected. The sofa bed was broken (and dangerous) but no one could fix it because Vail Resorts wasn't on site, so they offered an inflatable mattress. (Room rate of $1500/night I didn't expect anyone to have to sleep on an inflatable mattress) We didn't call for house keeping until after 3:00 pm-Vail resorts doesn't do housekeeping after 3:00 so we couldn't have housekeeping. We got extra towels to tide us over until the next day. The Ritz housekeeping doesn't take care of the residences managed by Vail Resorts so the Ritz quality didn't apply to our reservation. The bathtub drain was broken...we didn't even try to address this issue because the answer would have been the same as everything else. The shower drains so slowly that there was a half hour wait between showers so it wouldn't overflow. This experience was a disappointment; however, the property is nice and the actual Ritz staff are what we have come to expect from the Ritz Carlton. I just wouldn't rent from Vail resorts at any price. read more

Love the spa here as I prefer more of a spa experience for pedicures. All around beautiful spot and location and staff is top notch.

My family and I have been staying here over the 4th of July weekend for many years. The first holiday spent there was shortly after they opened and the construction was not completed; However we hardly noticed. I cannot praise the entire staff enough. Dan Miller created a perfect first impression when he greeted us in the drive that year. He and the rest of the crew there continue to exceed all expectations. I have now stayed at this ritz location multiple times and overtime it is a great experience and i love it even more. All of the staff were extremely friendly and made our experience even better. I visit in the winter season when i go skiing. The lobby has a great tea/coffee/hot chocolate bar in the morning and in the afternoon. There are bottles of water at the valet parking which really do come in handy due tot eh elevation. The rooms were kept really clean and if we ever needed help people were always there to help. The bar is a friendly environment and the pool is a nice size and kept to a great temperature in winter. The ski place where they keep our overnight is really well kept and once agin the staff are great. There are bars and food in this building which are good to put in your pocket such as protein bars and candy fort he kids. There is also another coffee tea and hot chocolate station. Everything is kept clean and they also bring your skies to the mountain base for you, and bring them back to the hotel at the end of the night. read more

By far the best hotel experience I've ever had in my life! We stayed in a 3 bedroom residence blew expectations out of the water. It was perfect and so spacious everything you could need. 3 big bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen with every appliance you could need, fireplace. I never wanted to leave! And not to mention the view waking up to it was just breathtaking. On top of the beautiful accommodations, the staff was phenomenal! From the concierge Rob & I forget the other guys name but he was great too. They helped us plan activities, what to do where to eat and where to go out for fun! Always greeted us by name and genuinely seemed interested in getting to know us. Also a complimentary shuttle didn't have to get in our car once! Great location as well most things we could walk to. One of the days the fitness specialist Luke took our whole family on a fun run. He was awesome! Pretty much want to thank the whole Vail Ritz Carlton staff for an truly amazing experience! read more

I was able to spend time here while babysitting for a family friend who had rented a residence during the last week of January. All of the staff where beyond amazing at their jobs which made my experience such a delightful dream. One member of the Ritz Carlton family that must be singled out for her excellence is Patrice.....she was so efficient in her housekeeping duties she reminded me of my Jamaican friends on Nantucket at the Union Street Inn (the manager where I work on Nantucket once worked at this very Ritz, how random?!). Amazing service and friendly people work here. It was a girl's night and we were all ready for cocktails after we were stuck on Vail Pass during an accident closure. I arrived first and although the reservation wasn't in my name the reservation agent let me go to the room and chill the sparkling wine. Thank you Ritz Carlton Staff! They are not snobby here but super friendly and helpful with valet service and transportation to the Village by private shuttle. We were only here for 1 night and it was top notch service. Once a year we try to have a girl's night and reserve a large 3 bedroom unit - the beds are awesome and the bathrooms are spacious with jacuzzi tubs. There is a kitchen, dining room table and fireplace in the living room. They are beautifully decorated and designed. There is even a wine fridge with no shortage of wine glasses too! We asked for extra robes and they came up within minutes. Life at the Ritz Carlton Club in Vail is grand- you will leave feeling spoiled rotten - just the perfect place to have a girl's night! One of the prettiest hotels I have stayed in. The views are amazing. It is remote but once you get there you won't want to leave.
