I don't know how there are positive full body massage reviews. This was my first time going to Four Seasons and before the massage started, the experience was already strange. There was no communication whatsoever beforehand about pressure, avoiding certain areas, etc. The entire massage was extremely painful (which is saying something because I usually love a lot of pressure). There was not one minute I was relaxed as the lady was very aggressively rubbing my back and digging into the same spot over and over again. It felt like she was taking her anger out on me or something. I left upset that I even paid for a service like that even though it was cheap. (I should've taken that as a warning sign) A few hours later, I am left with horrible back pain and sore in places I never even knew I could be sore. Not to mention that the massage ended with her knocking her knuckles on my head then suddenly an alarm buzzing to which she said "Finish" then ran out the room. Do not trust the positive reviews for Four Seasons Spa--they seem fake or paid for. My fiancé and I went in for a couples massage and had an absolutely terrible experience. We both left with bruises all over our bodies. The two women providing the massage were clearly inexperienced and untrained. They talked and laughed loudly the entire time, making it impossible to relax. Worse, they didn't speak any English, which was a serious issue because I have a pre-existing injury that I couldn't communicate to them. They simply didn't understand when I tried. I'd have left zero stars if I could. We purchased a Groupon for massage service with them, my wife scheduled her appointment earlier this week. The morning of the appointment they called to confirm. 60 minutes before she was supposed to arrive, after building her day around this massage they called her to cancel. AFTER confirming. They offered her other times later in the day that didn't work for her and offered absolutely nothing to her as an apology for their error. I'm sure that it's because it was a Groupon and so it took lower priority for them. Maybe your experience would be different if you paid cash, but if a business won't honor their own sales, I can't imagine I'd trust them. This is no way to run a business. Stay far away. read more

My partner and i went for 60mins couple massage combo with tibetan salt eye pad treatment. We arrived on time but their employee was running late. Almost waited an hour. And then finally came,, the owner explained to us that 30 mins will be foot massage in one room and then 30mins back massage in another room.. which was wasted of time and energy and interruption of relaxation. Foot massage was exactly 24mins. I looked at the clock before they started. It was 4:50pm to 5:14pm. And then took us awhile to go to the other room and undressed and situated ourselves. When the back massage was over, it was 5:49. So not sure how long the back massage was exactly... but anyhow, price for one hour was $39 in cash. For the price, it was worth getting. This spa is a hidden gem!! My massage therapist was top notch. I enjoyed a 120 minute deep tissue massage (90 minute body, 30 minute reflexology) for only $95. They start with a nice foot soak, then take you to your massage room. Hot eye pads with herbs inside were used during the reflexology portion at the end. Do NOT give them your business! This was the worst, least therapeutic massage experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend you avoid this place. I gave them a full month to rectify this situation and they have done absolutely nothing. TLDR: My masseuse was coughing, sneezing, and sniffling the WHOLE time. I also asked her at least 6 times to use lighter pressure and she kept going extremely hard, causing me immense pain. When I called the next day, they ignored my complaints and gave me an hour of the most ridiculous excuses and would not give me a refund. Full story: I scheduled a 90 min couples massage in honor of my husband's birthday on March 7th. They claim to be certified massage therapists. From the start, they did not specify whether it was deep tissue or Swedish, so I figured we would let them know our preferences as the massage went along. They started on us with no introduction, so I do not know their names. My masseuse was sniffling, sneezing, and coughing the whole time, and left the room abruptly 3 or 4 times to sneeze and blow her nose. This is unacceptable, particularly during a pandemic. Furthermore, she was massaging on my spine and bones, extremely hard, and it was very painful. I told her immediately that it was too hard and she laughed a little and said "oh ok, better?". She then proceeded to massage just as hard 30 seconds later. This happened 5 or 6 times throughout the entire massage. I even had to fully pull away once because she was NOT listening to me saying it was too hard. It was ridiculous. My husband's masseuse was fine, but hearing me having to ask time and time again for her to go lighter made him tense as well, since he was concerned for me. They also only used the hot stones for a couple of mins, which was a service supposedly included. I am not a confrontational person and had no idea how to stop the situation, even though I tried speaking up several times. We paid cash, since they claim there's an 8% card fee (which is outrageous) and had to leave quickly to make an appointment - they were practically pushing us out anyway. I tipped nicely. The next day, I called and explained what had happened and told them I needed a refund for my massage. My back felt bruised all over (which lasted 4 days), had little red marks, and I had a limp from where she drove her fist into my hip and knee. Most importantly, she never should have been giving a massage while sniffling and coughing. The lady on the phone pretended to listen to me, and then gave excuse after excuse saying things like "bruising is good" and "oh sometimes some of our staff have a little drainage". Her big claim was "we check the temperatures every morning and they were tested in August". As a nurse, I explained that being tested months ago meant nothing at this time, and regardless she may have any number of communicable diseases and should not have been giving a massage. The lady ignored what I said and kept repeating herself. She never once addressed giving me a refund. I told her I would drive over to get the refund and she basically ignored me entirely, once again repeating her excuses, and saying something about maybe sending a picture to her boss. I could not believe how unprofessional her behavior was. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I did not even ask for a full refund, since my husband said his was ok. (In his words - "the back part wasn't great, but the foot massage was really good.") I have had massage therapy before and have never had such a terrible experience. They never, never should have had her working with her symptoms, especially in this COVID pandemic. Their response to me was dishonest, uncaring, and frankly disgusting. Me and my husband went for a Couples Massage yesterday. Our Masseurs were amazing!!! I haven't been able to life my right arm all the way up in well over a year. By the time I left I could lift both arms straight up. I was shocked! They know every pressure point and how to work them. I was full of knots and they worked them all out. Went for a couples massage with my boyfriend this past weekend. He had a great experience! Mine, however was not as enjoyable. I've had a few massages in the past at other facilities and usually leave really relaxed, sore in some spots, but mostly satisfied with the experience. With this massage I honestly felt like this woman was learning how to give a massage. She was literally shaking me at one point which may just be something I've never experienced before but I did not enjoy it. The couples massage was really not an experience for the both of us to share because they separated us in to two separate rooms but left the adjoining door open. We couldn't see anything other than each others feet. They both were pretty consistent with spending about 45+ minutes on our backs and only about 10 minutes on our fronts. The place was very cozy and they were accommodating of the COVID restrictions in terms of cleanliness. Got a full body massage and they were way to rough even after I asked for less pressure

My girlfriend bought me a Groupon for a 60 minute Swedish massage and honestly I left a little bit disappointed. As other users may have already pointed out, the Groupon to the massage was actually more expensive then walking in and booking a massage ($60 vs $50). However they don't do walk ins. It's by reservation only. The first time I came down there I was told the wait was over an hour so I made a reservation for the following week. Also be sure to specify what gender masseuse you want as males work here. I have nothing against male masseuses but I prefer female masseuses. I'm sure most other guys can relate to this as well. The next week when I dropped by, I was informed that I had to pay $5 extra because my girlfriend ordered a 60 minute Swedish AND foot massage. I just wanted a regular Swedish massage so it was extra not including tip. Not a big issue here but as a reminder, just be sure to be really careful when you or someone else orders the Groupon. I didn't substrate any points for that as it was my mistake. As for the massage itself, it was very basic and the reason why I deducted 2 points. I'm not sure if my masseuse was new or just tired at this was at the end of the day but there was very minimal pressure. I had to constantly ask her to crank the pressure up. Now I'm not made out of steel and I've been to several places where masseuses have given me a medium deep tissue massage and I couldn't handle the pressure but at this place, the pressure was very, very minimal. She did back, legs and head. Kept it professional in terms of the towel around my waist. A few hot stones and moisturizer thrown in there as well. It honestly wasn't the greatest massage. I have been to Four Seasons Massage a few times in the past and used a Groupon then and never had any problems until yesterday, 4/8/21. I previously enjoyed their foot soak and reflexology and looked forward to it this time as well. I think I had Lin (a woman) last time. This time I purchased a Groupon for a 50 minute Body Essential Oil Massage with Custom Foot Soak Reflexology. When I arrived, I spoke to the receptionist and ask if I could pay a little extra and get a full hour instead of 50 minutes. She said that I could if I paid $15 more. She said that I would get hot stones too. I said ok. I had a man (he never said his name) who gave me the massage. There was definitely a language barrier with this man and he really couldn't understand me when I said I wanted a Swedish type massage and light pressure. I especially said to be careful of my low back. He dug his knuckles into my neck and back so hard that I can barely move today. I'm in pain! I told him a few times, "light pressure" and he just laughed like he didn't understand what I was saying. He did use the hot stones for maybe 5-10 minutes, then the hour was up. I asked him about the foot soak reflexology. He said, "oh, you want feet done?" I said, "yes". He literally rubbed my feet for a few minutes and then said, "done". I got dressed and complained to the receptionist that I paid for the Custom Foot Soak Reflexology and didn't receive it. She said that when I paid the extra $15, the Custom Foot Soak Reflexology was taken away and the hot stones were given in place of that. I said that you didn't tell me that and I had wanted the Custom Foot Soak Reflexology. She said, "sorry". That was it, that's all she said!!!!!!! First of all, this is a ripoff. They shouldn't take something away that I already paid for without telling me first! Secondly, that guy did a horrible massage on me. I've had many massages in the past, and this was the worst one I've ever had! I went here with my mother and brother and it was a very relaxing experience! They were very attentive with how much pressure they put as well as the heat of the hot stones! My mother recently had surgery and they were very careful to not put too much pressure on the side on which she had her operation.
