Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one. Additionally, he ensured to show me how the cost was calculated (we all know car repairs can be pricey but he also makes sure that you know where your money is going!) These added details were the cherry on top of an already amazing experience! Honestly one of the best experiences I have had. Once my car was looked at, they did call back with all the details of what's going on even things that were noticed during the initial diagnostic which is $120 by the way and is applied to the bill if work is completed at the shop. I'm glad i stumbled across this place reading reviews from yelp. The reviews were on point, this place is fast, friendly, price are reasonable mechanics were very efficient and nice, they took the time to explain in detail the issue with the car. I will be coming back for any other repair for my car.

My truck had a noise when driving using cruise control on the highway that was intermittent. Kevin and his crew did an inspection to the front and rear brake and was determined that I didn't need new pads and or rotors, in fact I had over 50% of pads left. Kevin also ran diagnostics and went for a test drive to replicate the noise, but couldn't. Long and short, Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and honest and he didn't charge me anything. At Tito's you can drop your car off and they can shuttle you anywhere you need to be (within a 10min radius). I usually get dropped off across the road to get lunch. I've been here a few times and I've always been happy with their work. They replace and cut keys if you need more copies, do both standard and drum breaks, and more. Truly full service. And they're honest about the cost of labor and replacement pieces. The waiting room is kinda rough and cold so you can ask to sit in the office with the lot puppy they found and adopted this year. She's so well behaved. While I was waiting I got to talk with one of the co-owners and they're super friendly, you'll find good conversation with most of the folks here. They check in as they work on your car if they find any additional issues.

They don't want to diagnose a remanufactured engine from Fraser Engines (he told me that I "should have read the online reviews" yet Fraser has a 4.7 rating with almost 8000 reviews because I DID READ THE REVIEWS!). I came to them to find out what was wrong with my engine, although i got a…read morediagnostic from autozone and let them know they said i needed a MAF sensor, but they told me all it was, was the air filters and low oil codes popping up. Charged me $220, ok. Not even 2 full hours later of me driving around to do errands my engine light comes back on. Not only that within a week after me bringing my car to them, my car starts starting and not staying on. This happened 3 times within a span of a week. I got stuck in a garage because my car wouldn't start anymore and a guy my school sent out looked at my oil and said it was dark!! i brought my car BACK to bob's and they then charge me another $200 just to clean out a sensor but on the receipt it says they removed and replaced the sensor (lying on paperwork) and they said this was a new code to pop up. But when I brought my car to autozone before coming to Bob's, they told me the MAF sensor was the issue. Another 3 hours after driving my car from getting their service, my engine light turns back on. They have no respect for clientele and just want to ruin your car so you have to keep coming back to them. I have never been so dissatisfied in my life! Do not go here!

During that time he was without transportation. They finally contacted him to say it was repaired but it started doing the same thing it did before he left it with them. He took it back and they still took 2 weeks. I rode by many times & it was on the lot parked. He was overcharged based on other shops estimates and he had to pay more each time he picked it up. I've heard them advertised on WRBS and believed they were trustworthy. Very disappointed.

Super shady shop!!! I bought a car from a guy who gave me complete maintenance records of all the…read morerepairs Leading Edge did for him. There were all sorts of scams and unnecessary repairs including: 1. Leading Edge replaced the front brakes at 119k miles and then again at 130k miles. Brakes again after 11k!! Front brakes should last at least 40k miles, usually more like 60-70k. 2. Leading Edge replaced the lower control arms at 116k and again at 146k. Control arm bushings last at least 100k miles. If you need control arms again at 30k, either the parts were junk or the alignment wasn't done right. 3. Leading Edge charged labor to replace both the serpentine belt and the alternator. You have to remove the belt to remove the alternator, so an honest shop wouldn't charge for the belt when doing the alternator. To charge full price for both is outrageous. 4. Leading Edge charged $250 to replace the radiator and $174 to replace the radiator hoses. You have to remove the hoses to replace the radiator. Here again, it's a rip off to charge labor for both. 5. Leading Edge charged $475 labor (just labor!!) to install tires, clean the beads, and replace one TPMS. $60-120 is typical at most shops for all this work, especially if you are buying tires from them. $475 for tire installation is probably the most outrageous repair scam I've ever seen.
