I brought my 2001 Buick in because, among other things, it was stalling out. They claimed to have fixed it. Several days later it stalled out again. I took it back 2 more times and it continued to stall out. I payed them $2000 and they refused to refund me anything. Fortunately the credit card company agreed with me and refunded me $1000. I was not going to write a review on Framerite, but I took my car to 2 different car repairs, and they said no front-end alignment was not done nor tie rods repair. I paid this auto repair shop 789.10 for a glorified alignment and tie rods which was never done. 642.34 was labor alone. The owner son Ryan who does not have any good customer service skills and done know how to handle customers. He over charged me and did not look out for my best interest in helping me with the repairs on my car. DON'T USE THIS AUTO REPAIR SHOP THEY WILL HOODWINK YOU AND BAMBOOZLE. THEY OVER PRICE AND CHARGE ME TO A GLORIFIED 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENTENT AND TIE RODS THAT THEY NEVER REPAIRED. I can't even give them 1 star they are a no star. They gave me 300.00 refund after I took my first review down per the staff asked me to take it down. If I had never put a review, they would not have given me that refund. They should have given me all my monies back. I called them to ask why the labor was so much for a alignment and tie rods repair and they gave a lame excuse. I'm not sure how the service is since I never got that far. I found the shop through AutoRust's authorized installers... or something to that effect on Autorust's website. I contacted Framerite via Facebook and set up an appointment for today to have my truck frame looked at a few days ago while at work. At no point until I arrived was an inspection fee of $75 disclosed. It's understandable to be a thing since time is money, but when it's not disclosed up front or during the discourse leading to the appointment, it's offputting to me. Also, the way the front guy mentioned it after taking all my information like it was just going to be good to go seemed pretentious. The front desk guy also didn't have the appointment in the system after identifying he was the one who put it in the system a few days earlier. The lack of information and organization led to me not having the service inspection continuing. Driving up from base in Virginia Beach and clearing my morning for a probably an hour or longer appointment was frustrating to discover an undisclosed fee and to have the experience I did. The dismissive attitude of the member didn't help the situation. Seems like the shop is reputable based on other reviews and longevity of operation, but realize there's options and ask about all the assumed disclosable billables up front. There's another authorized Autorust frame repair shop for trucks and off-road vehicles 20ish minutes away without an inspection fee. read more

I had almost $3000 work done to the right front of my vehicle including 2 new front tires mid June 2023 and a week ago the right front wheel came off the car while i was driving and had to spend almost a $1000 to get car fixed and still have damage due to wheel coming off and I called and took car in and he comes out and say he's sorry that this happened. I will be getting an attorney. Not to mention the guy is denying fault and trying to say my car has been in another shop which is FALSE! read more

Very honest and caring. Bill advised us that we did not need brake work that Bob Bell, the Chevy dealer had told us. The Equinox is under warranty for oil changes. That is why it was at this dealer. Bill has always been upfront and is honest. To top that off he has quality professional mechanics employed at Framerite. The folks there are top notched. I highly recommend them. The Chevy dealer wanted $1200 plus for brakes and to replace a boot by the front ball joint. None of these items were needed at this time. read more

I have never received such excellent customer service for an oil change and inspection all over the country as I have at Frame Rite. So my wife's 2010 Sienna wearing out tires. Costco told us three were badly worn even though they had about 10k miles. This was after they rotated the tires and told us there could be a suspension problem and months after a front weld repair at a one-man garage on north point road. We were worried about the weld repair which possibly caused the tire wear. I went to Framerite for an inspection where they saw no welding issues ( although I now realize I should have gotten an alignment after the weld job) Framerite said the alignment would be somewhat more since shims were needed and plus I needed 3 new tires, obviously. Decided to get four new tires at Costco although at inspection I could have replaced the three bad Michelins at Framerite but they didn't have them at hand and it was getting late. I made another appointment for the actual alignment at Framerite. Took most of the day but they lent me a car to get around. I wasn't happy driving home and called them the next day saying the tires were still making noise and I could smell rubber burning off the new tires. They checked the car, told me it was set to specs and new tires would smell in hot weather anyway. But what about the loud tire noise - that wasn't normal. That's when the manager, or owner, said maybe it's a bearing. I said where, the left front. That's where I previously had the weld done. He said, possibly. I took the van to my mechanic a few days later who told me the problem was indeed the front left bearing. read more

And a problem with the spring was discovered that had been completely overlooked by the dealer. Framerite is a decent place to bring your vehicle. They find the issue and fix it. I've been twice for a fuel pump and cam bolts. No issues since. A buddy of mine's had his engine replaced there. They do it all. They are pricey in my opinion. And, you have to hound Mr Bill for an estimate before he gets to involved. But, as a former service manager of a twelve bay garage and a "side" mechanic, this place rocks. They send "Thank You" cards handwritten after your service. I have been taking my car to Frame Rite for three years now and have always been more than satisfied with their prices, honesty, and generally great customer service. I've never been happier with an auto repair shop -- when my car needed a new clutch, I have to admit I checked with a couple of other shops locally just to see how their prices compared, but none offered a lower estimate, and with Frame Rite I was absolutely confident that the job was done properly and there would be no last-minute add-ons. I had three bad experiences with mechanics before taking my car to Frame Rite. It did not take them anytime to discover what was wrong with my vehicle and to have it running like new again. I was back on the road the same day that they looked at my car and I have not had any problems since.
