If only there was an option for zero starts. He looked like the owner, I entered the store and he didn't bother to say hi nor did he ask if I needed help. This is a small store, that is why that kind of service makes a big difference. I did not feel welcomed at all and felt discriminated. I found this place through Yelp and I'm so glad I did! I had a painting on a large piece of cardboard that my friend made that I wanted framed. Since it was a unique size, I knew I would have to get it custom framed. Jon did an amazing job with it, and made it look really nice with glass on top, spacers, and a cool dark gray metallic frame that went perfectly with the painting. Definitely high quality work. Usually, custom frames can be crazy expensive but Jon did it all for such a reasonable price! He was really nice and professional too! Like the previous reviewer said, Jon is a master at his kraft. I don't know too much about framing or art myself, but Jon has a certain exuberance for what he does. No doubt, I was a little hesitant in going to get my framing done because he runs his business from his garage; but it paid off in the long run. I was desperate because I had to get a new frame from the broken one thinking it was just the glass that broke. At first, Jon informed me that it wasn't just the glass that broke from the trip but the whole frame. I was determined to get it fixed after calling several framing businesses in the south bay and being turned off by the price and turn around time. He gave me an option right off the bat that actually made it ten times better looking. The cool things about this transaction was that it wasn't super expensive (like the guys from manhattan beach I called) it would be done within a day, and it was exactly 5 minutes away from home which made it super convenient. Jon made me a happy customer and relieved that I was able to handle getting a new frame with no problem. If you have any pictures or art you'd like to get framed , I highly suggest going to this gentlemen, because he's simply an expert at what he does. I just moved into a new office and needed the art I purchased for my office framed. I found Jon on Yelp and I am so happy I did. He framed 5 pictures of lotus flowers for my office. I then had him frame a silk scarf my son had painted, another painting my son made, and on original giclee I had purchased. Hi! We purchased some Arabic calligraphy on papyrus while we were in Córdoba, Spain. I brought it to Jon of Four Sticks a couple of weeks ago. We picked out a frame, matte and glass at that meeting.
