In is day and age, many people rely on the internet, social media sites and the television for news. Before we know it, the printed newspaper will be a novelty and we will reminisce about the good ole days. Prior to the 1950's, we relied on the printed newspaper and the radio for our news. When televisions were introduced, we began to witness the perpetual decline in the reliance in newspapers. Last year, newspaper subscriptions fell over 5%. I am proud to support the Idalou Beacon (with 2 annual subscriptions) and enjoy each week when I get to thumb though the newest edition. The Idalou Beacon provides updates on cotton farming (cradle to grave....or should I say cultivating to baling), highlights students and their accomplishments, provides residents with updates on social gatherings, crime, obituaries, buy local opportunities, recipes, My favorite thing is the Rave on column, written by the Editor. I hope that all those who read this review, will go out and purchase their local (or national) newspaper, even if it is a single edition.

There was no rodent damage to the unit, only evidence that it was old and worn out. Your technician was blatantly incompetent on this call and it's great that he is no longer with you anymore. However, it was not handled the way it should have been, caused problems I should not have had to deal with and I will continue to share my experience with others. There is no need to discuss this further, you can post any response you choose, but the damage was done, and the warranty company made up for your technician's incompetence.

He called his "supervisor", and they decided that we needed new parts and labor in the amount of over $500 without making any effort to actually validate the problem. Total waste of $100. While we have been hunting crane for years, we were excited to take friends that had not and…read moredecided to use a guide service this time. Based off reviews we picked Final Descent. We were very disappointed. Our guide, Alex, put 18 decoys out and did not use calls at all. He did not want us shooting at birds in the air, only if they came in and landed. He was also cold and called the hunt 35 minutes before our end time of 11 AM. He also had us put up the blinds and put out the decoys, and while I do not mind as it was better than sitting in the dark cold doing nothing, we have never had another guide have us set up the hunting area. There were five of us and we walked out of there with 7 crane when we all could have easily tagged out. Definitely not worth $1375 we paid.
