Overall Mariah did a decent job at my first appointment. I did end up with blonde money pieces…read moreafter I told her during the consult that I did not want them. Worst part is the money pieces were poorly done and completely uneven, which you could tell every-time I put my hair in a ponytail. Also, after she washed me in the bowl she didn't put any product on my hair afterwards. No leave-in or heat protectant, so I left looking frizzy after she dried and styled me. The most unfortunate part is I booked again because I had an upcoming wedding in two months and I didn't know anyone else in town. Since she didn't burn my hair off, I figured I could trust her for a second go around Mariah texted me the evening before my appointment to see if I could come in at a different time. The morning of my appointment she texted me and canceled, she said it was an error on the receptionist and they did not communicate to me properly. I told her I understood but really needed to get my hair done as I was in a wedding the following day, which I already told her two months prior when I made the appointment. The owner was the stylist that did my hair. I feel I should Have been denied as a candidate for…read moreextensions. Here is a breakdown of my experience as well as pictures. I trusted Michelle to do my hair extensions after an in person consultation on Wednesday July 15, 2026. She expressed I had a lot of hair but that I was absolutely a candidate for 16 inch length hair extensions. I was quoted a total at my consult of $2025 and left a $475 down payment for my appointment that was on Friday July 17, 2026 at 8 am. I left the salon on Friday, over 13 hours later with what looked like the perfect head of hair. (See photo). Michelle painted the top of my hair a color that she said would help blend my hair color with the extensions. My hair looked black on the top. I did a hair removal treatment on my own (see pics of Black hair and then my actual hair color). At the end of the appointment, Michelle curled my natural hair and extensions and everything looked pretty well blended. She said we didn't need to add layers and that after I washed the extensions they would "fluff" up and would blend well with my hair. About halfway thru the appointment Michelle realized how much hair I had and decided we needed to do individual pieces (K-tips) to help blend. At 9:30 pm on Friday after my hair was done Michelle let me know I owed a remainder Of $2800 when I had paid 475 already. I washed my hair on Saturday night (July 18, 2026) and blew dry it (as instructed). When I woke up on Sunday, the 19th, the extensions were not fluffed at all and were stick straight. I tried to blend them but gave up and put in a ponytail. I was horrified at what my hair looked like and I also had an excruciating headache from the weight of how much hair was used. I contacted Michelle and had her remove my extensions on Sunday. She mentioned in the future if I wanted to try again she could perm the extensions for a better blend with my hair---why was this never mentioned during the process? After this extremely long day and unexpected money spent, this experience left me frozen so my husband wanted to help advocate for me and he texted Michelle and asked for an itemized bill. A bill was sent to my husbands email. The itemized bill was not Accurate as it stated I left a tip much larger than I had and showed I still had a balance owed. They converted part of my payment for service into the tip amount to make it look like I still owed for the service and they were waiving the remaining balance. She also put prices next to products that I was told were a free "extension goody bag." (Said goody bag was returned). My husband sent an email explaining the entire process I went through and asked for a partial refund. Pictures below: the finished product on Friday, what my hair looked like after I washed it, the painted dark roots she did and the pic after I did my own stripping treatment. I feel I was completely misinformed and misled. Michelle should have denied me as a candidate for extensions. She got paid and then wouldn't work with me on any type Of refund. This cost me over $3000! I hope this post prevents this devastating experience from happening to anyone else!!

I first decided to get my haircut at Enve when I saw my coworker's amazing Reese Witherspoon-like haircut (the long hair with feathered bangs). My hair is a little difficult to cut and style since it is silky and very straight, but Amanda was able to cut it exactly how I wanted it. She communicated what would look good on me and what she would do to get my hair cut to look like the famous short Katie Holmes haircut. Amanda used a mixture of razoring, dry cutting, and massive amount of layering. She touched it up with a flat iron and Osis Dust powder to add texture. I received compliments from tons of people and even had a few double takes from people in my office. I schedule my hair appointments every 6-8 weeks in advance to keep my hair short but also since Amanda is always booked up 2 months at a time. I would encourage anybody to schedule an appointment at Enve. The stylists are friendly, accommodating, and talented!
