Stumbled in here by accident after an eye appointment next door. What an awesome place to find on accident! Their wall of bulk spices, herbs and teas was just amazing! I had to pace myself because I wanted everything lol Try the blackberry tea in bulk. The clerk recommended it and I am hooked. There's also sort of a small Asian market in here which was really fun. My husband got sweet rice balls and enjoyed those. The store was clean, pleasant and well stocked and there was plenty of help on the sales floor with very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Fancy grocery store in South Joplin which caters to vegan stuff and health food stuff. Definitely not the kind of place where you will find discounts and deals but also a place where you will find a lot of healthy stuff and fresh goods, straight from the farm, so something which is a welcome addition to the Joplin grocery scene. read more

Small esoteric selection of mainly vitamins and other "health" products. Not too much in the way of actual food items, like yogurt. And surprising that this "health food" store does NOT sell soy milk...only almond milk. Maybe if they stocked it, they'd sell some. read more

I love it here! No matter how many times you walk in, you always find something new! I buy honey, vitamins, bulk seasonings, vegetables, organic sodas and all kinds of noodles. My grandma use to take me when I was little so it's exciting to be able to take my kids now. I still remember always getting a Tigers Milk bar which unfortunately I wouldn't eat now because it contains HFCS but it's still cool that they still sell them! read more

It's like Joplin has a Whole Foods. They have hard to find healthy things like raw sunflower seeds, adzuki & anasazi beans, black rice, ezekiel bread, millet and amaranth, and it's all cheap (about $2.50/lb). They even have turmeric roots and raw cashews. I'm happy I finally gave this place a chance and I will be shopping there often. read more

A great little grocer, you can find a lot of weird and wonderful things here. They have a great selection of Asian groceries, fresh and organic, a huge wall of herbs, and spices, fresh tea's and large selection of supplements. You will find a great selection of raw ingredients, and all your healthy options, with a bunch of gluten free alternatives. It is a little pricey, so if you shop around, you can find some stuff cheaper. read more

I shop at FoxFarm pretty much daily. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Numerous times, they've ordered things for me that they don't normally carry. They always greet their customers with a smile and a genuine 'How are you today?' When they tell their customers thank you and that they appreciate the business you can tell they really mean it. These are authentic, good people. Unlike some other health food stores in town that have a fancy building and more snobbish staff, the people at FoxFarm are never pushy and have never tried to get me to buy something b/c it's trendy. Their prices are often half as cheap as other health food stores and their bulk spices cannot be beat for both freshness and quality. They have a large Asian selection, tons of gluten free options and their store is Vegetarian/Vegan Paradise. They make being a Vegan in Joplin so much easier!! If you haven't tried FoxFarm, you're missing out on great service, great products, and great prices! read more

They have some hard to find vegan/vegetarian options. The store setup is a bit odd. It's sometimes hard to find what you are looking for.

This store is darn near perfect in my opinion. Yes, they have all of the vitamins and nutritional supplements and other related junk you would expect from a health food store. But what's better, they have an excellent selection of whole and vegan foods as well as TONS of ethnic foods from all over the world. Their prices on bulk spices are great; you will see how ripped off you've been buying tiny jars of McCormick's all these years! As a fairly experimental household cook, I always find what I'm looking for at Fox Farm and they are happy to order products they do not carry. The staff is knowledgeable and polite, only offering suggestions when asked (unlike their competitor Suzannes down the road where they try to shove products down your throat). The cashiers are courteous and efficient. The store has that authentic, "granola" feel and smell that tells you it's exactly the right kind of place and not just some pretentious, trendy little market. My only wish for Fox Farm is that it were larger and busier, but I guess some good things have to grow slowly in this area and I love it "as is". read more

prices here are high, although there is a wide selection of products especially dried herbs and seasonings. be careful when buying produce as sometimes its not fresh. I've seen bags of peppers and other produce with mold inside it. no problems with the service, but the store is lacking any kind of "professional" vibe. it's more of a casual place. if prices weren't so high I'd give this place 4 stars. read more

Fox Farms is wonderful. They've got about everything a person would want in the way of all natural foods.They have hard to find items. If you want vegetarian foods, they've got 'em. There's a number of ethnic foods. If you want something as exotic as octopus, they've got it. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Besides all this good selection of foods, they also have vitamins, teas and books to help one to attain a healthy lifestyle. Since they sell a number of products in bulk, their prices are excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff! Want to know anything about a product? Just ask. They are so nice and always willing to help out. They have shelves and shelves of bulk spices, herbs, vitamins, minerals and supplements so you can make you own blend of whatever suits your fancy. I recommend the bulk smoked paprika. Once you start using it, you'll be hooked. Best on pork butts, but fantastic in just about anything you want to be a little smokey. I love it in ranch dip for something a little different. Don't forget to try some local wildflower honey! It's wonderful! You can buy a one of their big jars or bring your own container. read more

I have lived in this area for a little over a year and I love to cook dishes from all over the globe while following a paleo lifestyle. Fox's has a immense selection of ethnic foods that have allowed me to make Thai, Morrocan, Chinese, Brazilian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Greek, and many other variations of dishes. The staff are super helpful when asked and are not "in your face" like at other places. Their fresh produce and frozen fishes/meat selections are awesome for the great low prices. I buy pork belly monthly to make my own non-sugar cured bacon and it is Fantastic!! Their herbs and teas are great as well. Also they carry Bubbies refrigerated sauerkraut, which is an incredible probiotic. Check it out and take the time to really investigate this jam-packed hidden jem in Joplin!!! read more
