This was our last try after I had bought two great ones back in Charlotte a month ago but forgot to pack them. Oops. This store is great and just like every other ALDI you've ever shopped. Remember the quarter for the cart deposit, have your reusable bags or buy them from the store. The layout is consistent with commercial bakery, produce, dairy, frozen, meats, deli and the Aisle of Awesomeness. Some Christmas stuff still on the shelves but no Advent calendars. Bummer. The cheese selection was surprisingly small and there was nothing local, but they did have some new goat cheeses for my collection. To my delight, I scored my first cheese from Montana! I was also pleased by the selection of nuts and crackers. Checkout was fast with a friendly cashier, too. This was my first time visiting a store in this chain, and I am glad I went in.

This is a covered market with concrete floors. More of a pavilion feel to it. I would recommend coming hungry as there was a coffee vendor and a couple of others making food on the spot! A nice variety of fresh produce and baked goods, honey, soap, and lots of beautiful mums!! We enjoyed the live music...it definitely made it feel festive. You could walk through in 10-15 minutes if you don't really stop or you could spend time shopping, visiting, eating, and listening to music for an hour or more.

There is one ALDI at: 2630 S. McClelland in Joplin and another I shop at which isn't that busy on weekdays when I go at: 3205 E. 20th Street (right off Rangeline literally in front of the Walmart which is set further back off the road off Rangeline).
