I just needed a small glass piece cut for an end table and they did an excellent job. Really good price too.

They came back with a defective window, installed it, came back with another defective window, installed it again, and finally came back with a window without defects and installed it. That happened over the course of a month. -All the windows that were supposed to open did not open without considerable effort. It was impossible for my wife to open them. The installers said they didn't know why and that it was probably a manufacturing issue. They said they would send out a tech. -Two techs came out 2 weeks later and could not fix the problem and blamed it on the manufacturer. They told us to call the office to resolve. -Called the office and they told us that there was no way to contact the manufacturer except 'through the portal' and they would get back with us. Called them back a week later and they said they hadn't heard back. Called them again another week later and they said they hadn't heard back. Finally was able to get the number of a person at the manufacturer and I called him everyday for a week until he scheduled a tech to come look at the windows and change out the balance rods. That took 3 weeks to schedule. -Manufacturer techs came out, changed the balance rods and the windows still did not work. -Finally called Scott, the president of SRQ Glass and begged him to come look at the windows. -He came to the house tested the windows and agreed that they should not be working that way. I gave him a level from my shop and he confirmed that the windows were installed incorrectly (NOT the manufacturers error as was stated for a month) and that he would get people out to fix it. -Techs came out to fix the window. They did not have a level and I had to give them mine to show them the problem and explain what Scott said needed to be done. They finally got the windows to work acceptably. -The techs that then come to do the plugs and trim were poor. I had to follow one of them around to have him reinstall the plugs that he shoddily put in that fell out as soon as the windows were closed. They did not clean the windows after as was explained would happen at the conclusion of the job. -The first sliders were installed in August of 2025. The incorrectly installed one was finally reinstalled on August 6th of 2026. -The installation of the windows and the final slider commenced on April 21st of 2026 and finally was completed (if you can call it that) on July 30th. -IN ADDITION: Before the issues began in earnest, we referred our neighbor to SRQ Glass and she spent $10-20,000 on windows for her home. So we were responsible for at least $60,000 in business for them, if not more. -We had an outstanding balance of $3,145.00. I called Scott and asked him if he would waive the final balance in compensation for all the issues, number of times techs were in our home, and the length of time the project took. He stated that he could not do that or he would lose money on the job but did agree to give us $1,000.00 off. Disappointing. If they would have done the job correctly the first time and not incurred all the labor cost on constantly coming back to fix things, that would not have been an issue. -For a company to have made $60 - 70,000 off a client, provide poor workmanship, excuses, and made us have to plan to be at home for MULTIPLE visits over an almost 4 month period, and then quibble about $3,100 is a shame.

We are new to the Sarasota area and are starting from scratch as far as contracting projects with…read morereputable local businesses. We just completed our master bathroom. We got numerous quotes for shower glass/door and 2 custom mirrors from other local businesses. We chose the shower shop based on pricing (which was not the cheapest), reviews, quality of the products and the owner Mike Smith personally coming to do the estimate/design. Everything went smooth from the estimate to install. Marshal and Mike P did the install. They were fabulous. Both were knowledgeable, skilled, very Professional and cleaned up after the job was finished. The are both a great asset to the team at The Shower Shop. Jill and Dana were super helpful on the sales/transaction end also. Our shower door and glass was "unique" due to the challenging knee walls and curb. Mike Smith was spot on with this design. We definitely would refer The shower Shop to friends and family. We will be starting another bathroom soon and will be using them for future projects. If you need custom mirrors and/or shower glass/doors, this is a expert professional company to work with.

The Shower Shop ROCKS!…read more Renovating can be a nerve-wracking and costly experience. We hire the professionals to make the magic happen, and we expect the outcome to be breathtaking. We subbed out our bathroom renovation to keep our costs down. The procedure of doing it this way can be extremely tedious, but in the end we (as customers) get to pick and choose who we want to make that magic happen.  The shower glass was the last thing needed to complete our bathroom renovation; it was like the final bling, the frosting on the cake, if you will. We reached out to several glass companies for estimates and received your typical responses (if any at all). Some companies returned our call for an estimate but only after the job had already been completed by someone else (The Shower Shop), and sadly, some never returned our call at all. Most companies that did respond quoted estimates without seeing our job or taking any measurements. From the very first (and only) call for an estimate from The Shower Shop, we spoke with the receptionist, who was only too happy to schedule our visit with a professional to measure and quote our job. She asked how thick of glass we wanted, and when we told her the approximate length of glass needed, we could hear somebody in the background telling her that glass of our size should be a minimum thickness of 1/2" as not to be flimsy. We had the warm fuzzies from that moment on that The Shower Shop was going to deliver not only a beautiful shower but a safe one too! Our appointment was scheduled for the very next week for someone to come out and take measurements. We were a little taken back when the general manager himself came to our home and did the actual measuring. He didn't just pull out a measuring tape; he carefully measured our bathroom wall, ceiling, and shower ledge with a laser level, explaining every step of the way. He shared with us that although our bathroom wasn't perfectly straight or level (which no home is), our glass would be level, sturdy, and a beautiful addition to our new shower. He made suggestions that were overlooked by us and our tile installer that were appreciated. After all, that's why we hire the professionals. Our installation date was scheduled two weeks out, which was perfect because we had other things to schedule and complete before our glass arrived. Our glass was actually ready for installation just shy of the two-week date given by the general manager. We were ahead of schedule and ready for the install. The receptionist was great with communicating our appointment as well as reminder calls throughout. I get it... they're a busy company who want every job to go as smoothly as ours did, and I respect that. The crew of two arrived to install our shower glass. They were as friendly and professional as the receptionist and Gary, the general manager of The Shower Shop. Our new shower glass was installed in just under 2 hours. The results? Our shower glass was not only level, but it was sturdy and beautiful, just as we were told it would be. One thing I would like to mention is the option of having your glass treated with a protective coating by Diamon-Fusion. This protective coating eliminates the hard water spots and soap scum that tend to build up in your shower, not to mention cuts down on heavy cleaning with harsh chemicals. I'm not sure if other glass companies are offering this as an option, but no other glass company mentioned it. Both the general manager and the installers shared a glass cleaner called Sprayway that's a couple of dollars cheaper than most glass cleaners, has no ammonia, smells pleasant, and can be purchased at most any store. This glass cleaner is awesome and leaves no streaks! Overall, we were very pleased with our decision to have The Shower Shop install our glass. They were friendly, professional, punctual, accommodating, and great with communicating. They offered suggestions that only added to the beauty and aesthetics of our bathroom.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing glass and plan to call on them again for our next bathroom shower project! I would rate this company 5 out of 5 stars for their stellar performance and the job delivered as promised!
