    I rented a car from FoxRent and was extremely disappointed to find out they add huge hidden fees for tolls. Normally, tolls are cheap (like $3.80), but FoxRent will add around $15 extra per toll on top of that. Nobody at the service desk informed me about this at all -- I only found out when I got charged later. This feels like a total scam and a way to get extra money out of customers without being upfront. The car was good overall, but these hidden fees completely ruined the experience for me. I'm sharing this to warn others so they don't have to find out the hard way like I did.

I reserved and paid for a full size vehicle under my corporate contract. When I arrived, the employee on duty showed me the only "full size" car available. A Nissan Versa. I asked if the Nissan Versa was considered a full size. He said yes. I asked again, are you sure? He repeated yes. I knew a Nissan Versa was not a full size car, as it felt extremely small. I once again stepped out of the vehicle and directly asked if a Nissan Versa is considered full size. He insisted it was. Before leaving with the vehicle, I checked Google, specifically to the rental class with Enterprise. As expected, the Nissan Versa is classified as a subcompact. At that point, I was extremely frustrated. This was not confusion. This was a clear misrepresentation of the vehicle class. I asked to speak with a manager. That did not happen but then he asked me what kind of car I wanted. I made it clear I wanted exactly what I paid for. No upgrade. No downgrade. No excuses. Getting what you pay for should be the minimum standard. Eventually, a female employee approached me. I explained the situation. She apologized and handled the interaction professionally. I appreciate her effort, but the damage was already done. I understand how rental locations operate. I understand quotas, ratings, and long term rentals with 30 day review cycles. None of that excuses misleading a customer. This experience crossed a line. I will not return to this location. As a consumer, verify what you are given. Do not accept false answers. Make sure you receive the vehicle class you paid for.

I also received the receipt via email, I had to create the wrong one they wrong one they wrote down. I was charged correctly so that was good. However the millage was wrong the starting reading was wrong and the return was the reading when I started. So it said 114 miles I drove over 600 miles. No problem for me just another example of a complete lack of eye for details.

The car of course broke down in a Publix Parking lot on Marco Island on a Saturday. Called roadside assistance and they told me the best they could do was authorize an uber to take me to puck up a new car at the Tampa airport which roadside assistance said was 60 miles away. I told roadside assistance that Google Maps says the Tampa Airport is 184 miles away. They said I was wrong. I asked to speak to a supervisor to so I could discuss the problem. Road side assistance told me they would have one call me right away. 5 hours later and no call. I have had good experiences with Enterprise in the past but this one was horrible.

    Manager with the dark skin and big dreads have some of the worst customer service I have ever seen…read more After one of his employees almost smacked the small children of my coach from the gym next to the store behind the complex, the employee hopped out of this giant white truck with an attitude and refused to give his name or get his manager. After going in to find the manager he was no where to be found. Once we left the manager came out not in uniform in a white T shirt no name tag yelling "what's up man what's up ?" Instead of hearing about what happened he was yelling "no one is going to disrespect my employees". After I chimed in to tell him my coach watched his children almost get ran over the manage got louder and more defensive. Mind you this is the same manager who has been told to not hit on my girlfriend 3 different times and numerous other women in the parking lot trying to workout. Instead of properly handling the situation he said "man forget this" and turned his back on us and went inside. I have never seen a business ran more ghetto and disrespectful in my life. This manager needs to be written up or replaced by a real leader. I am certain the attitude employees have stems from no real leadership in the building.

(There were no lines at any of the other rental car counters.) Nate and I had reserved a vehicle via Costco rental cars prior to our trip, so we figured we just had to wait. It took us just over an hour of standing in line to get up to the counter. While we were waiting, we heard other people looking for other cars from the other companies, but everyone was sold out. An employee did come out and announced that if you had a reservation, they had a car for you. But if you didn't make a reservation ahead of time, you were out of luck. They also told us that if you signed up for the Fastbreak program while in line, you wouldn't be able to use it that day (to skip the line). Needless to say, people were visibly annoyed. When we finally got to the counter, we were asked if we wanted an EV or a pickup truck... neither of which was what we reserved online. Oh well, we went with the Mach E which was very fun to drive. We didn't end up charging it at all while we were visiting and returned it with about 40% charge since we didn't find many compatible charging stations near where we were staying. Returning the car was much quicker and smoother, thankfully. We just drove in to the garage and gave the keys to an employee who was waiting. I just didn't love having to stand in line for over an hour to get our vehicle, which seems to be the normal experience based on the other reviews.

Car was pretty beat and had definitely seen better days and I had rented a luxury vehicle which this was far from a luxury vehicle. Maybe back in the day it was but given current condition it was not. The interior in many places was peeling. Car was dirty and just felt gross to sit in seat. Loved getting to drive a Tesla after renting a couple of years ago a Polestar but would have been nice knowing this was my first time renting a Tesla to explain things. Agent indicated keys were in cup holder... The "keys" as she called it was a black credit card that was in the side of the black center console which took me in a not a well lite garage forever to find.
