No matter how many times or things patients complain about here, Executive Director does nothing. I have resided here in Assisted Living since 2020, and my suggestion is to Avoid Like the Plague. The only reason it looks clean is because it was recently renovated, but no new carpeting or coat of paint will camouflage years of systemic problems!

My mother was also on a lot of medications and the wellness center was able to manage her medications perfectly. The senior administrator, Mariolla. was so helpful to our family during my mom's stay at Brandywine as well as when I had to clean out the apartment due to my mother's passing. The staff were caring and responsive, and every one was considered equally. I did not live near by, but was in frequent comunication either by phone or email and was treated as though I was a part of the family. I can not speak highly enough of this residency and the quality of care dad received even upto and including the end. Sorry to hear that the above gentleman had a negative visiting experience, everyone has an off day once in awhile.

The aids that have cared for my mom have been very friendly and are quick to come in when the emergency cord is used to call them. Of course there will be times when somebody might need to wait a few extra minutes, but they do their best to help as soon as possible. The kitchen prepares foods that are not only healthy but appetizing for the residents. There are substitute options available. The games and social activities are meant to get everybody involved as they choose. The Promenade provides a cheerful and clean environment. Big screen TVs in common areas. A nice outdoor patio for good weather. It has a homey, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend you visit if you're thinking of a place to call home for a parent or a loved one.

Moved Parents into facility in January 2020. Was looking to move parents to another facility but on…read more March 3, mom fell and broke hip in dining room of the Life Guidance wing. That cause her now to be living under hospice services. Also moved my father out of the facility. The assisted living side of the Atria might be great,however, the administration didn't know what they were doing and I think were not qualified to run a memory care division of a assisted living. If your parents can take care of themselves by all means move there, however, if they suffer any memory issues look elsewhere.
