I moved to Neenah a few months ago and needed to establish with a dentist in the area and began having some issues with a tooth. I called Fox Valley Dental and they actually got me in the same day (which never happens especially because I am not even their patient yet) and we established a plan to repair my tooth that same day. I have always had very high anxiety when going to the dentist and after meeting Dr. Olsen that day I was amazed that any and all anxiety I had about seeing a dentist and the work that needs to be done was gone and I left feeling excited about Dr. Olsen helping me. Dr. Olsen and his awesome very friendly staff took their time explaining everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Fox Valley Dental to anyone. My family had been going to Fox Valley Dental since before Dr. Olsen took over. Communication had been going down hill for the past several years. Recently my 13 year old son was in for his regular cleaning and checkup and Dr. Olsen decided to change his orthodontic treatment plan. Rather than taking 5 minutes to review X-rays and discuss the situation with me, he sent my son back to the waiting room with a referral card and the hygienist, who merely told me his case was too complex for them to handle any longer. I talked to Dr Olsen about pain in my front teeth after being hit in an accident. He didn't seem concerned or do anything except get his staff to talk me into buying a plan to cover cleaning for the next year. Since I don't have insurance it would be a cost saving. The next appointment he decides I need to see a specialist. I ended up losing the money I paid Fox Valley Dental and had to pay the specialist and lost the teeth that were injured. Hey all. So having moved to the Menasha area I received a flyer in my mailbox about This place. I was skeptical as they offered a free checkup but went. So fast forward three years and many visits later and guess what? I love this place. Ok so here are the reasons why. The front desk ladies are kind and welcoming. I never have to wait in the lobby for someone to get me. As a matter of fact Dr Joe has actually came to the lobby and picked Me up himself. They really care bout chickens like me. I personally hate going to the dentist. But they for sure insist on ensuring I am not uncomfortable. They have state of the art equipment. Oh yes. I love the technology ! They take an X-ray and oh by gosh they can see it in real time. Some tips. Don't worry about having your teeth brushed upon arrival head to the bathroom and there are FREE brushes. You need lip balm. I was in the Fox Valley area for an internship and needed some dental work done before I moved away at the end of my internship and I aged out of my dad's insurance plan (both of which happened in the same month). A coworker recommended Fox Valley Dental, they were able to fit me in for both a checkup and filling some cavities found at that checkup, even though it was only a couple of weeks before I moved. The staff is professional, thorough, and friendly! They explained everything they were doing and answered any questions I had. They also went above and beyond when--the same day after I had my fillings done, and two days before I moved--I managed to get a (small) chip in my front tooth. Even though the office was closed on Fridays, given my circumstances, Dr. Olsen was able to file down the chip the next morning (and didn't even charge anything, since it was so small). Wow!
