I had a very positive experience with North Appleton Dentistry in the beginning. Both providers I…read moresaw were professional, and my hygienist was absolutely wonderful--kind, thorough, and someone I genuinely looked forward to seeing at appointments. Unfortunately, things took a sharp turn when I began advocating for myself and asking questions about a filling that failed in less than two years, resulting in the need for a crown. I simply wanted to better understand what happened and discuss it further with the dentist. Instead of that conversation, I received a call from the office manager. The interaction was disappointing, to say the least. What should have been a professional discussion became rude, defensive, and unnecessarily confrontational. I was even accused of being disrespectful simply for asking questions and expressing concern about the situation. As a patient, I believe it's completely reasonable to ask about dental work--especially when something fails unexpectedly. A medical provider should be willing to have those conversations openly and respectfully. To make matters worse, I've since been notified of a certified letter from their office, I'm sure "firing" me as a patient. I'm refusing it and moving on. Rather than feeling supported as a patient, I now feel dismissed and uncomfortable. This has been incredibly disappointing given how happy I initially was with their care. I respected their expertise and felt confident in their services--until I asked questions. That shift raises serious concerns for me about how patient concerns are handled. I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability. Do better.

Still waiting for my chipped tooth to be fixed ? I went there to have my teeth cleaned. This is not…read morethe same dentistry as before, when Dr. Nelson was in practice. This Young couple need to understand basic business practices. When a patient asks tough questions. You don't insult the patient, but have compassion for helping the patient see what you see on the x-ray. I was asking tough questions about their x-ray ? Why don't I see what you see ? This lady dentist put her hands on her hips and said plainly, "Well you're not a medical professional." True, but I'm a professional common sensor. Help me to understand ? Her mask upon her face blocked her facial expression and my physiognomy of her face was blocked. Credibility in the medical industry has issues. These issues can't be fixed by the patient, but the medical industry needs to rebuild their brand. Asking tough questions about one's health was always done with compassion and understanding. STILL waiting to have by chipped tooth fixed !

They cancelled my appointment and then said they couldn't reschedule me for 6+ months…read more The receptionist I spoke to was rude and unprofessional. I've never missed or been late for an appointment and schedule 6 months in advance.

If i could give zero stars i would!! First, I've only been going there for 1.5 months (4 visits)…read morewhen i went their first time, i was given a form for referrals and if referral came there you'd get a 50$ gift card.. nothing else as told to me as far as rules of gift cards. My first visit was very uncomfortable, the assistant didn't know how to take a blood pressure, so it hurt when she did it over and over again and when i simply asked her if she knew how to take them she got very offended and said yes we were trained.. i told her i could do it if she wanted.. from there on out every time i went in she had a horrible attitude towards me even tried to tell me once how i should take my antibiotics etc.. like seriously that's none of her business and it was a preventative. She is very very unprofessional, rude, and just not a good fit for working with ppl. After the first visit, i got a call that my gift card would be in the mail.. 2 weeks, no gift card. I called and then was told my husband/referral, needed to pay his bill first then I'd get it but after explaining, 1. I wasn't told anything about that, only that i would get the gift card for the referral 2. Our insurance covered everything so there was no bill 3. Then i was told they would have it for me my next visit. Next visit, the assistant was rude, and no gift card. Was told they were out and would get more on that Friday. Then i had an emergency tooth pain that i was dealing with for awhile and it got worse.. i went in to get it pulled, the assistant was overly nice so clearly she was talked to but her niceness was dramatic almost insulting. As Dr was trying to drill a hole in my tooth it caused a severe pain that radiated through my body and caused me to go into an anxiety attack (never happened before) which i jerked and Dr got irrated with me even tho it was a natural human response with such great pain. I ended up having to go to a oral surgeon that day to get it taken care of... and again NO gift card even though the office manager, Rachel promised me twice i would have it... i once again called and left a message about how disappointed i was and if they were going to make things right to please call me.. No call!! This is how they run their office.. UNPROFESSIONAL NO INTEGRITY NO ACCOUNTABILITY... i was looking forward to going here for a very long time and now i wish i never did!! The only ppl who were nice and professional was Stephanie and Julie. I would not recommend them after all the issues with them during my very short time going there.
