I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience. The office itself is very relaxing, almost spa-like. I had very little wait time and was provided a complimentary ultrasound screening to determine the best course of treatment. My recommended treatment was sclerotherapy. The nurses that treated me (Celina and Dana) were so professional and caring throughout the procedure, which was not very painful. They sent me home with very specific instructions that were easy to follow. I am now 10 days post-treatment and my legs look great! There's still a tiny bit of bruising, but it's going away. I decided to go to Dr. Persino after reading his really great Google reviews, and now, years later, I'm so happy with my decision! (I think the one review that really stood out to me was a woman who had said she moved 3 hours away but liked Dr. Persino so much that she continued to see him and had him deliver her two subsequent babies, even though she moved far away!). Here's the gist of why I think he's so great: He's been an OBGYN for many years, and is very knowledgable and confident in his abilities. He's hilarious and easy-going, and he really puts my mind at ease, since I tend to be a bit of a worry wort. His great sense of humor and super friendly demeanor make him very approachable and easy to talk to. He has out-of-this-world bedside manner, and does not rush through appointments. He will answer any and all questions you have, chat about random things, and even throw a couple one-liners in for good measure :) He delivered our son three years ago and did an awesome job. He knew I really wanted a vaginal delivery and after hours of labor and pushing, instead of recommending we do a Caesarian to just get it over with, he stuck by my side, cheered me on, and followed my wishes of letting me deliver my son vaginally (even though it probably took longer and was more inconvenient for him). I'm currently under his care for a twin pregnancy. I know Caesarian is more likely with a multiple pregnancy, and he has assured me multiple times that we will try for a vaginal delivery if possible. Knowing I'm a bit scared of a c-section, he has talked to me about the surgery and the whole process, and has really eased my fears. I know that my babies (and I) are getting the very best care under Dr. Persino's watch. I cannot imagine going to anyone else, and I wholeheartedly recommend him! Sidenote: Sometimes office staff can really make or break an office visit experience. I have to say that two people at this office really stand out in particular as consistently being awesome- Sue, his receptionist, and Christa (sp?) are so incredibly friendly and enjoyable to talk to. They've both gone out of their way to help me out on various occasions. I actually look forward to catching up with them when I have an appt. and feel like they really care about the progress of my pregnancy and me! One more thing (as if this isn't long enough!): I like that it's a smaller-ish office and I don't feel like cattle they are just herding through the doors. When I go, everyone recognizes me and calls me by name...not something you usually get with a suburban medical office. Just an added bonus I wanted to mention. Bottom line: If you're looking for an experienced, knowledgable, and super friendly OBGYN- go to Dr. Persino!

I would give him a 10/10 with bedside manner. When I had a few emergency type situations (dehydration and lack of fetal movement) he really did put me at ease, let me come in and we did a sonogram to make sure everything was ok. Because he wasn't panicking, I could calm down. Turned out everything was fine. I would highly recommend him as well as Dr. Wittman to any of my close friends. The staff is always courteous and extremely efficient, and the nurses are sweethearts. I have gone to this office since 2003 and only had to switch because I moved 50 miles away.

Dr. Faubel is phenomenal!! My mother has very bad adult onset of scoliosis. She is not a surgical…read morecandidate. We have already had her seen by a Neurosurgeon who referred her for injections. She had her series of epidural steroid injections with an Anesthesiologist at the local hospital. Nothing relieved her pain. My mom has been in pain for so long now that her entire personality and desire to be social had vanished. It literally broke my heart to see my mom in such pain. For the last resort, (my mom does not like to go to the doctor and she had so much pain with the ESIs that she was afraid) I asked her to make an appointment with Dr. Faubel to see if she was a candidate for Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA). I know that Dr. Faubel is the only physician in the area who performs this cutting edge procedure and is also a Fellowship trained physician. This procedure would be a last ditch effort for pain relief for my mom. She made the appointment (reluctantly) and was a candidate for the procedure. My mom is back to being 'my mom' again. Her pain is gone. The sparkle is back in her eye. Dr. Faubel was wonderful with her during each visit! His assistant Carlie was compassionate and professional, as well. For all of those patients suffering from debilitating back pain, do not give up hope. Make an appointment with Dr. Faubel. Please, understand Dr. Faubel can only do what he has in his 'toolbox of treatments', but I guarantee you if he has something in that 'toolbox' that will help you I have all of the confidence in the world that you will be happy you went to see him. Smart guy but I can say his manner leaves something to be desired…read more Not very conservative to your wallet or with the scalpel. Wanted to jump right into expensive testing for carpal tunnel. Was dismissive about issue that bright me in that is affecting my life most. As he walked away however he mentioned "B6" and I promptly got myself some for under $5. After YEARS of being incredibly hindered by nerve pain in my hands I now have full use of them again just by adding this vitamin to my life. No more dependence on gabbapentin, none, for weeks. I'm glad I held off on surgery all these years. I regret how much I suffered tho considering how simple the remedy was. A symptom of a bigger health problem in my case, which this Dr. couldn't wrap his head around, because surely you are not credible when your body has problems... Right? That's how he made me feel. As he referred me to another quack to continue to pass the buck and line the pockets of his friends.
