There pizza is way to much grease on it the service was very good and so was the price

I was having an extremely bad day after getting some bad news at my doctor's appointment. So, I asked my hubby if he would like to take a drive over to Pomeroy, Ohio to discuss my findings. We were going to a restaurant we had never tried before and after getting there found out it was closed so I was very disappointed. So we went to Fox's Pizza Den. The lady seated us after we waited for about 3 minutes, I asked to be seated away from the door because I was cold. She looked at me like I asked to be escorted to Mars. She did not take our drink orders and said our waitress would be here shortly. We waited about 7-8 minutes, I was ready to leave but here she came reaking of cigarette smoke..so I guess she had to have a cigarette first ??? hum...! Tony wanted the Philly Cheesesteak Stomboli with a Draft Budweiser and I ordered the small personal Pizza Pepperoni and Cheese only and unsweetened tea with lemon. The food took a while to be prepared and it finally arrived. My pizza tasted like a frozen pizza I could have cooked at home for about $3 so I was very distrubed to find out that I paid $11 for that small four slice pizza. They charged me $8.99 for the pizza and another $2 OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Our check was $37 tax, food and tip...she never came back to check on us and never refilled my drink...I tipped her $2..I was upset with prices and services here...normally our food and service is good, must be new management or owners!!!! read more

Pizza and prices where great! Staff was super friendly and they where nice enough to let us dine in super close to closing I was so thankful because I was low key freaking out over booking our Airbnb on the wrong day! My husband I went to Fox's this past weekend. This was his first trip. The service was impeccable. We were seated right away when we arrived. Our server was very nice and kept coming back to check on us and to refill drinks. We ordered a small pizza (meat supreme), hot wings and breadsticks. Everything was wonderful! The food is great however two hours I'm still waiting. I placed an online order which stated 40 minutes for delivery. I made three calls to the restaurant told they were sorry the driver would be there any minute, half hour I call back. Now I understand they are busy, but I literally live two blocks away and am sick! I was placed on hold for another 15 minutes promised a refund and .... Finally the order arrived. Needless to say I will never do business with them again which is sad because I love to support small businesses read more

Best pizza spot around! My family and I go here often for pizza and beer, but they have so much more! They offer all the local wines, some Jackie os beer and their pizza and Stromboli is outstanding. I've been here several times and this place is one of the best restaurants Pomeroy has to offer (albeit there aren't many)! Every time I have come the servers have been nice, friendly and prompt; the food is just downright great (AND it's at a reasonable price!!) If you're looking to stop at a place along the river-- this is definitely it :) read more

BEST PIZZA AROUND!!! No contest. We also love their salads, Strombolis, hoagies, and wedgies! Haven't had anything "bad" lol.

The wife and kids were threatening to overthrow my domain as King of the minivan if I didn't find them something to eat and I was glad to stumble on to Fox's Pizza in Pomeroy. We were in the area to visit some friends but had about an hour to ourselves before everyone else arrived so we ordered soda's fried mushrooms and a medium pizza with mushroom, pepperoni and sausage. I had never heard of Fox's Pizza Den but our server let me know that they are actually a franchise with several locations throughout the midwest. About our server...she was GREAT...our visit was on a Saturday when folks were starting to gather to and watch football at Fox's but she was patient with us and not eyeing what group she could get to help up her tips with beer sales and long stays. Because it was a road trip my guys had to go to the facilities and they were the CLEANEST I had been in since my Mama's...that's saying something because she was totally OCD! So yeah, we had a great experience at Fox's. read more

Dine in was open and socially distancing was observed. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Service was fast and efficient. We had the Buckeye Special pizza and it was honestly one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. I will be back. read more

My daughter has several food allergies. The chef (Jeremy) did an excellent job ensuring that her meal was free of her allergens.

My daughter and I were visiting family in West Virginia and decided to go to Fox's for lunch. None of us had been there before. From the minute we walked in until after our meal, it was nothing but a positive experience. Our server was very friendly and extremely competent. The food was GREAT and drink refills came without us having to ask. It was too cold to sit outside, but we had a nice view from the inside. I recommend this place highly! read more
