You know those places from college that are just nostalgic? This is one of those for me. And sometimes you go back and it's not as good as expected. BSD though is just as great as I remembered!! Came for a Feta is Beta which is one of my college orders and it's still amazing. Hits the spot literally every time. Other good options are the Larry david and Tom's turkey. This is an Athens staple.

Wonderful bagel sandwiches AND ice water!!! I had the Ritter's meat, with sprouts and of course, a jalapeño cheddar bagel (for some added zip!). The service, ambience and food were top notch. Highly recommend!!!

A long overdue review from my weekend in Athens for a friend's graduation. This was my first time at Bagel Street and I was not disappointed. After a weekend of late nights and probably too many drinks, my bagel sandwich just hit differently. I am sure next time I am in Athens I'll have to stop back in for another.

My friends who went to OU were raving about this place and I see why! Despite how busy it was, the line moved quickly and our food came out fast as well. I had the Tomacco and added turkey, it was heavenly. If I ever make my way back to Athens they will definitely be stop!

The inside is super cool and gives college town. The bagel was delicious and I def will come back. Their soups are kinda ehh so I would stick with the bagels because they rock.

Favorite place to get food in athens. Service is always quick no matter how long the line is. Tons of flavors to choose from no matter you mood. Everything is made to order so you don't have to worry about freshness and there's an all around coziness to the place that is tough to beat. Prices are reasonable and a great place to sit and people watch what's happening on court street. Don't pas up this little spot!

Incredible bagel shop in athens Ohio! Located on Court street you can't miss this. Prices are good (~$6.5-8.50 per bagel as compared to Einstein bros) and it is all good and hefty bagels. They have at the least vegetarian options, though I assume they also offer vegan given their extensive tofu and veggie availability. Im happy to go here every time I do, so try it out! I go every time we return to OU

Is there anything better than a college bagel cafe? My daughter and I both loved this place. She definitely thought the inside was much better than the Bagel place at Miami U. I got a breakfast bagel and all of their eggs are hard-boiled and sliced. I was skeptical, but it worked. I'm sure my daughter will be here a lot over the next 4 years and I plan to visit it again.

My go-to stop whenever I'm in Athens! Food is always hot and fresh. There are rotating soup options but the tomato basil is my favorite. The menu is so big that there really is something for everyone! Lots of vegetarian options too. The building is super funky and unique with chalk all over the walls and tin foil sculptures stuck in the brick.

Dearly beloved... I am gathered here today to discuss this wondaful bagel sammich! Today, I happen to have lunch with one of my students and we decided to try this particular place. Looks like a hole in the wall but if you know like I know, hole in the wall restaurants are THE best!!! Their art on the brick wall is dope too! You have to appreciate everything about this joint! They have so many bagel and sandwich options its crazy!!!! I decided to go off the cashiers recommendation and he suggested the Mr. Meaty and boy it was a great option. I added honey mustard with provolone cheese on an Asiago bagel. It was juicy and tasty!! I will say, if you're looking for a place to sit, this is not the place. The food is amazing though and their turn around time is quick for a lunch time rush. Try the Mr. Meaty it'll bless ya!

I was a little happier with my blueberry muffin than I was my Cousin Vinny. I wanted so bad for the sandwich to taste like an amazing Muffaletta because of the ingredients, but it didn't blow my mind. Still, it was fine. It was disappointing that they were out of chicken cutlets because several of the sandwiches had that as the critical ingredient. But I would go back to explore the cutlets and their various Italian mains (lasagna, meatballs, etc) if I am ever in Nelsonville again.

It is in an attractive, small storefront in the historic downtown area. Although there is no indoor seating there are chairs outside . Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked breads and treats. Directly in front of you is a case filled with delectable goodies - assoted varieties of cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars, New York cheesecake, strawberry cake roll, chocolate cake roll, macaroni, and more!!! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich on foccacia and I had chicken with pesto, balsamic glaze, mozarella cheese, & tomato on occasion. Both sandwiches were HUGE and one alone could have easily fed both of us! We each raved about our choice - delicious, tender foccacia, generous amounts of high-quality fillings, all with the perfect blend of seasonings. Service was friendly and efficient. If at all possible, we will definitely stop by on our way back north. 10/10 (actually more!!!). A definite must-stop!

Her recommendation did not disappoint! Everything about Provisions is cute - the ambiance, the decor, the staff, etc! I loved that they were having St. Patrick's Day specials in lieu of St. Patrick's Day when we were there so I went with both specials. I ordered a hot Irish Cream Latte and the Reuben. The Irish Cream Latte was SO good! It was creamy and sweet! It was topped off with green whipped cream and sprinkles which was super cute! The Reuben was good too, but super messy! I ended up forking and knifing it! The corned beef was super tasty and tender! I guess all sandwiches come with either a bag of chips or a fruit bowl option! I wish I had known that beforehand as I thought that only chips were available. My girlfriend got the fruit bowl and it looked like a decent size of fresh fruit! She also got the Club Sandwich which she said was her favorite! I definitely want to come back again (especially with my daughter)! They have so many coffee, pastry, sandwich, and salad options available that I'm sure my daughter would enjoy Provisions too! Other notes: - Complimentary glasses of water are available! - Both sides of the restaurant are covered with a wine wall ranging from dry to sweet wines! Opportunity: - When ordering sandwiches, please let the customer know that they have the option to grab a bag of chip or fruit bowl.

Expensive ($16 for toast with cheese and mushrooms) and underwhelming but not bad by any means, and $9 for a bagel with egg and cheese. We got the caprini toast and it didn't have the micro greens as it says on the menu, but no biggie. The bagel with egg and cheese was very bland, and it is a square of scrambled egg, not a fried egg. The baked goods were fantastic! The sticky date cake is crazy good! It weighs a million pounds and is so thick and just the perfect texture. We also got the lemon yogurt cookie which was soft and tangy, 10/10. It's a joke--and not the funny kind. I get cravings for these subs maybe two or three times a year, and without fail, there's a 50/50 chance they're out of bread. Bread. The foundation of the entire menu. How does a sandwich shop not have bread? That's like a gas station with no gas. And don't get it twisted--I'm not blaming the workers. I know what it's like behind the counter. I've put in thousands of hours at Jimmy John's and can count on one hand the number of times we ran out of bread. You know why? Because we had competent management. Managers who understood basic prep, who knew how to run a store, who didn't let the place fall apart daily. The fact that this keeps happening means one thing: the management at this location is either completely checked out or totally incompetent. You don't get to say you're "freaky fast" when customers are standing around for 30 minutes waiting on basic prep that should've been done hours earlier. At this point, walking by and not seeing a "We're out of bread" sign feels like a miracle. If I'm this frustrated only showing up a couple times a year, I can't imagine how fed up regular customers must be. The food is great--but none of that matters if the manager can't do the absolute bare minimum to keep the store functioning. Fix it.
