Loved getting to visit foxtail coffee for the first time. This location is right next to my work office so I have been meaning to visit. Right when I walked in, I loved the energy. There was plenty of cozy and bar seating to do work. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy the environment, but I was in a bit of a rush, so I chose to get my drink to go. I opted for a hot vanilla latte with cinnamon. It tasted so homemade and yummy. While there was a bit of a wait, the barista was able to sort through the line quickly. The parking for this location is the garage adjacent to the complex. I did not stay long enough to validate parking, but I believe the sign says it was an option! Such a cute coffee shop! Tucked away in a growing plaza in Buckhead, you could possibly miss it if you blinked. You can gain entry by using the backdoor garage entry or the entry near their patio area. Unfortunately, when I visited it was pouring and I didn't realize that the former was possible, leaving me to fight the rain once I found the patio entry. Foxtail is not a huge space but they offer a number of slim tables, barstools and two different seating areas with big, comfy chairs. It was easy to grab a seat, even with an 11am rush. There only 2-3 team members working, but they were all very nice and so patient as I stared at the menu with indecisiveness. The menu offered a variety of teas and coffees, along with a display of pastries and a number of sandwich options. After seeing that they served banana matcha, I had to see if I could add banana flavor to my latte - I could! So I started with a banana latte with oat milk + a ham, cheese and egg croissant. My latte was so delicious, I went back for a 2nd cup not too long after. My croissant was delicious as well. This is really a great place to do some remote work or to conduct meetings. The wifi was easy to connect to and I was able to get so much work done in the peaceful coffee shop as the rain poured down outside. Definitely a nice cafe to spend a day at! read more

The staff were super friendly and helpful, accommodating all our requests easily and making some fantastic drinks. I stopped by here on a whim because I needed coffee and the closest Starbucks was closed and I must say, I'm glad I did! The service was impeccable! The baristas were super nice and accommodating! They offered great options and were patient with my pickiness! I also liked that they labeled it and added a cute little smiley face! Those personal touches definitely set them apart and put a smile on my face! I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte for my friend and an Iced Snickerdoodle Latte for myself and it was DELICIOUS!! There's no associated parking lot. Only some of the tables have outlets, like the bar seating, window seating, or chairs by the poll. Given all the seating, it's a bit crammed. I wish I knew that Foxtail Coffee was hosting an event that night like maybe something on their website or a sign inside the shop? It was really loud, but they were nice enough to try to include us in this mindfulness or meditation event. The foam of the peppermint mocha was pretty and tasted good overall. I also got an iced matcha latte, which was decent. It didn't taste too powdery or earthy. It could've been more creamy but I just love a good matcha. There is no parking by this cafe. Sweet little independent café (I think). It's not in the greatest location. Parking is difficult. It's in the same plaza as The Yard, CT Taqueria, Zakia, and an Asian place that is beautiful but whose name never sticks with me. The plaza is across from Buckhead Loop. Once you get enter, it's a breath of fresh air. The decor is modern-ish. Colours are mute, saturated contrasts. Corners for comfortable chats. Considering it's in a corporate building, the place has a sophisticated warmth. There's a small patio out front. No shade, unfortunately. The coffee and pastries are good. The service is warm and considered. But again, parking is irritating. We'll return. read more

The matcha & coffee here is just toooo good. They have a lot of speciality seasonal drinks that I haven't seen anywhere else and they are delicious!! They also have a wide assortment of bakery items. We got the peppermint cold brew & matcha with coconut cold foam & they were both a 10/10. There is plenty of space to get your work done comfortably and it's relatively quiet. Service is friendly! Recently discovered this coffee shop, so let's start with the location. This is located in Buckhead right below Zakia. The parking is interesting and so is the location. If you are trying to access through the street, you cannot. You have to park in the deck and walk across the pavilion and take stairs down to the coffee shop. The service is great, they are super nice and helpful. I absolutely LOVE their Rose Matcha with Coconut Cold Foam. I cannot recommend it enough. I recently got to try their caprese sandwich and feel like it was missing major flavor. They use tomato paste instead of sundried tomatoes and needs a bit more pesto. This cafe is a bit on the pricier side since it's in the heart of Buckhead but their Rose Matcha will keep me coming back! read more

This has got to be the best coffee shop in Buckhead. I'm so thankful they were open on the 4th of July. My son and I were staying in the area and had run the Peachtree road race when we decided we'd swing into Foxtail before heading back to our hotel. I love everything about this spot. I had an iced oat butterscotch latte and a slice of banana bread. My son had a double chocolate chip muffin and a cookie. Service was superb. Highly recommend if you're looking for an outstanding coffee option with yummy pastries. If I lived here, this would be my everyday coffee shop. If you live here, it should be yours! read more

11-17-24 Sunday morning Was looking for a place that would have a great cappuccino and this was located closest to our hotel. So I walked over to get a cappuccino to go before hitting the road home. I consider myself a bit of an expert on what makes a good coffee drink being I worked in the business for many years. Once I walk in pleasant enough shop as you enter confused on where to order. They sell little foxes I assume as a souvenir for your kids. As I make my way past a group of guys who are huddled around waiting for their order. Once at the register I order a small cappuccino she says whole milk I say yes. Now I prefer whole milk but wonder if that was her only option as that is what she is offering? As I go to pay, get this $5.59 for a small cappuccino?! Wow I understand we are in a city but the price is high. This has gotta be good..... Well I take a sip and it tastes awful. Probably the worst cappuccino I have ever had. They make Starbucks seem good. I prefer an Illy bean which this is not. This is a hard pass of ever coming to this brand again. This is a nice little coffee shop but I didn't enjoy my latte. I specifically asked for 1/2 sweet and asked that they not add a lot of flavored syrup. Love Foxtail! This coffee shop has the best baristas and such fun coffees!! You can try so many fun flavors and seasonal drinks. Only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the PARKING! Unfortunately this coffee shop got a bad lot, so it is not super easy to get to. Do not expect to be able to run in and grab a coffee. I think my only gripe with this place is the parking and entrance. The entrance on the side of the main road, which I suppose is helpful to get eyes on the shop, but it isn't the most helpful when it is raining or if you are driving to get here, and definitely not helpful if you're getting dropped off. There is no street parking and not much to do in the area other than eat and it's not really walkable, so it's a weird spot. Their coffee is a little high on acidity so I would avoid espresso shots if you aren't a fan of highly acidic coffees. I love their seasonal drink menu, and their non coffee options for those who might not drink coffee. Their food is limited to quick pastries and sandwiches, which is perfect for a morning meet up with friends or a quick coffee date. They recommend the vanilla syrup with my drink and they were absolutely right, it was soo good. Perfect balance of matcha and vanilla and it wasn't overly sweet. The chai was also amazing, it had such a fragrant tea flavor and was overall the best chai I've had. There is a parking garage behind the coffee shop and they validate parking for two hours. I came here with my husband and toddler on the weekend. We got a lavender honey latte and a caramel butterscotch latte. Both were delicious and tasty without being too sweet. I love coming here to study! It's such a nice place. Every time I've come here, my experience has been wonderful. The coffee and matcha are delicious-- I had a caramel coconut iced latte in September that was to die for, and today, I'm drinking their peppermint mocha. I also tried my friend's matcha when we came together. All the drinks were fabulous and honestly some of the best I've had in the Atlanta area. I'm a big fan of the staff here as well. Everyone I've encountered has been so cheerful and welcoming! Staff members have come by to check on me while I'm sitting to make sure I'm doing well, and today I was BROUGHT my coffee and water to where I was sitting, which was so so very pleasant. :) You can tell the staff here really takes the care and puts in the effort to make sure everyone is having a nice experience. The playlist is nice, too! Positive vibes, but not too loud that would distract anyone from studying. The seating area feels cozy and clean. Honestly I'd love to try this place and I'm assuming it may actually be good due to the crowd inside but the parking situation is a hassle. And the website crashed twice while trying to put in my info. The Baristas were a bit busy to explain how it works. Enjoyed a great experience here from start to finish on a recent afternoon. What stands out most here, is the customer service. There is no screaming your name when you're standing 2 feet away. Instead it's open hearts and a sincere desire to ensure that you're comfortable and experiencing the best that Foxtail has to offer. They know their product and they know how to ensure you enjoy the best it has to offer. I enjoyed a perfectly spice forward chai. My friend swears by the coffee here, I am not a coffee drinker. Our drinks were hot but not tongue burning and never got cold as we lingered over them. There are plenty of tables and comfy leather chairs. You can enjoy inside or out. There is also food from pastries to light breakfast or lunch. The parking is free with validation. Highly recommend for a perfect first date or girl afternoon chat and everything more or less. (P.S. there's no harm in leaving and re-parking in the garage to extend your stay past 2 hours. Just get another validation before you go. They aren't bothered by this action). II. This coffee shop is a case study in organized leadership. The counter is championed by the most relaxed and kind woman who doesn't make you feel rushed but keeps things moving. The espresso machine is orchestrated by the smooth operator. They remain unphased as they artfully steam and grind the morning away. The anchor moves between drip, food, to-go orders all while taking time to talk to customers and drop lil gems of coffee recommendations. Lastly this is the best coffee I've ever had. The Foxtail Farmhouse roast is perfect. Like most coffee shops the design scheme has succulents and white tile, but they added a nice pop of color in their murals. I'm here for it. read more

There is no street parking, as the Foxtail sits on the busy corner of Lenox and Piedmont. Prices are on the expensive side, as well. There are plenty of great coffee houses in Buckhead and certainly this one is respectable, but the location alone requires that I award it less than a top rating. read more
