HOLY YUM ALERT?????? I visited the wonderful state of Georgia this past weekend for a convention. Upon arrival, I walked past this location on the way to my stay, and knew I would need to try it. Naturally, we went the next day. Lord am I happy we did!!!!! With a group of ~8 it was always easy to find a table, or put a couple together outside. The staff were kind, asked for stickers from us (which we did indeed have) and the food was DELICIOUS. We liked it so much we came back. I had the pesto cavatappi and it was so good I ordered it both times. They're menu has so many options for all sorts of dietary choices, and the meal deal they had was PERFECT. All my friends enjoyed the food, and the service every time was amazing. Our second visit was right before our departure, so we had all our luggage with us. I was so excited to learn that one of my favorite chains had a location near me. However, it was a dismal experience. I ordered a large lemonade, where they gave me a cup that was more of a small/medium size. When I asked about the larger cup (because I ordered a large), they told me they couldn't give me that size. And then for some reason they were running behind on orders (which I usually understand, but I ordered a fountain drink) and it took 30 minutes to receive my lemonade. And when I asked for a refill, they told me that was a separate charge. I actually did speak to the franchise owner, who was very nice and offered me something to return, however I never received it. I actually followed back up saying I never received the coupons about a month later, to which they replied they forgot to mail them. read more

Hotel lobby coffee shop at the Westin Hotel seemed just ok and was glad the valet guy reminded me I saw a Corner Bakery driving in. The staff at this store was wonderful. I was very grouchy and tired and was almost normal with the coffee from there. I had the Hazelnut cream with some skim milk and it was just what I needed. My hubby had the pancakes and bacon, and it looked pretty fantastic too. I would've tried some except that he ate it all! I really appreciate it the heads up from the girl at the register who let me know that I had some offers for a free you pick two and I got my favorite harvest salad and Pastor Rosa along with a side of fruit. Bad customer service, that's clearly a problem from the owners down. Attitude reflects leadership. I ordered a to-go salad with no Blue Cheese add Parmesan. Ate some of the salad, realized that it had Blue Cheese. Called to get it replaced with the correct order. After returning, was only offered a half salad as recompense by the manager. How tightly are they squeezing her hourly profit goals that she can't have a full salad replaced? Wow! The Orzo soup clearly came from a frozen bag, okay. But it's advertised as a white soup in appearance on the website. It was delivered as a dark tan. I've worked at a deli, it's not that hard to stir the soup while it holds at a safe temperature; and add some water every so often. read more

Nice spot for breakfast or a breakfast meeting. I was told they had the best pancakes in town, so I had to try them. Pancakes were great! Light, fluffy, great amount of syrup! I could eat a ton of these if left unchecked! Pro tip, if you get a scramble, you substitute the toast for two pancakes. I had a scramble, and it was ok. Not sure if I'd get again. I felt obligated to get some protein with my pancakes. I also tried the truffle mocha (iced). This was delicious! I'm not even a truffle fan, but this was well worth it! Highly recommend! When you walk in. You think "oh okay. Just a regular coffee shop" but as you watch the employees. As they greet you. As they look you in your eyes and ask you how are you doing, you realized that the people here are some of the warmest people you'll ever meet. Most specifically I'm talking about Alice and Yvonne. They made my first trip here felt like it was my 20th. I feel like I made two new aunties. The menu is pretty large for a shop on the corner of a semi busy street. It's off of a one way so you may find yourself having to make a u turn to get here. There's a few parking spots on the lot but more adjacent to it. There's some seasonal items on the menu and then your staple lattes, cappuccino, and coffees. There's a mixture of hearty breakfasts items like oatmeal and pancakes, to lighter options like yogurts and bagels, to things you grab and go, and items in between like sandwiches. I ended up with an American Panini and a vanilla oat milk latte. The panini wasn't spectacular. I think I expected it to be bigger and tastier. It definitely needed some salt and pepper. I had to get it to go and if i was eating in, I would absolutely go with something else. Their heartier meals looked like it was their stronger food option. The vanilla oat milk latte was warm and creamy. It was definitely made right and with love. There's plenty of spaces to sit down and eat. Came here on a Sunday evening for a little afternoon coffee. The latte I got was 90% milk and my partners espresso some how took a while when we were the only ones in store. The overall store felt a bit sticky and humid. We tried to sit inside to eat a brownie together but the brownie itself just tasted like heavy fudge you could buy at the grocery store. Coffee ran out and not refilled in timely manner. Creamer ran out and not refilled for duration of visit despite staff knowing I was waiting on it. The Lord knew I needed this place this morning. Our flight got delayed so I looked for a breakfast joint. Y'all! First of all, Yvonne came over and hugged my daughter (she barely hugs me) and then hugged the rest of us. I needed that mama hug so bad. As for the food. I got the Anaheim Panini which was absolutely delicious. My husband got the pancakes. So all the neighbor kids say his pancakes are the best and used to request on Ken's pancakes when they were little. He said, as he was eating his pancakes this morning, "I make a good pancake but these might have me beat." I took a bite and HOLY SMOKES they were amazing. I wish I would have ordered pancakes! My daughter got the cinnamon roll and she loved it. I also got the caramel macchiato, which is, hands down, one of the best caramel macchiato's I've ever had. Sooo glad we chose to come here for breakfast. Most of the Corner Bakery's in my hometown have closed, so seeing that we had one close to the hotel was a pleasant surprise. Let me just start by saying that the customer service was 'wow'! There really is no other word to describe how welcome and warm the staff was. We particularly had a pleasure chatting with miss Yvonne who was consistently checking to make sure everyone had what they needed and cleaning the tables. She is a true gem and this place is so blessed to have her there. It was a nice way to sey the tone for our family vacation an get a warm welcome to Atlanta. My husband had a buterrmilk pancake platter with sausage and eggs. The kids ordered chocolate chip pancakes from the Kids menu with a side of bacon and I ordered the avocado, egg, spinach bowl with toast. My favorite was the coffee, which many places can get wrong, but not here! My husband had an Americano and I had a cinnamon latte, so yummy! We were all happy with our food. as a bonus, there is a parking garage that is free with restaurant validation. Mid-September 2021 was the first time we came to this Corner Bakery for breakfast in a long time. When we come here, it's always before 9 am on a Sunday, and we've been advised to park in the parking spaces near the restaurant. However, there is a parking garage shared with the nearby restaurant, and it has lots of parking spaces. We walked in and looked at the big menus displayed high above the order counter, and then placed an order. I ordered a bacon wrap, and R ordered steel-cut oatmeal. We were given a number, and then sat at a table inside the restaurant, placing the number on a stand so the employees would know where to bring our order. It was nice to see Yvonne again. For those of you who haven't been to this Corner Bakery location, Yvonne is one of the leaders, and is well known for giving people hugs (during pre-pandemic times) and giving each customer a warm welcome (which she continues to do). Yvonne brought us our food and told us that it was so nice to see us again, and chatted with us about the restaurant for a short while, then left us to greet other customers and bring them their food. Our food was good. My bacon wrap was fresh and hot, and so flavorful. The bacon and eggs were cooked well, and the lettuce provided a crunchy texture. The portion was nice sized. R said that his oatmeal was made perfectly. Corner Bakery has very reasonable prices, and we've always had fresh food. Menu items are changed periodically, and they sometimes have special limited time menu items. Even though customer service has been consistently good, we can tell that the vibe of the restaurant is a little subdued whenever Yvonne isn't there. We'll be coming to this location more often, just like we did during pre-pandemic days. read more

It is walking distance from my apartment, so I come here atleast once a week. The coffee good and strong. I usually get their pasta even-though Magginos is nextdoor. I would not sleep on Corner Bakery Pasta dishes. (All of them are good & cheap) My favorite pastry item is Blueberry muffin & Banana muffin. We went to Corner Cafe for brunch on New Year's Day since most places were packed. My expectations weren't too high for the place as we were just hungry and wanted something to eat. I would say it's a pretty average place. The food was okay. The presentation was on paper plates, which was slightly unexpected. There are some delicious looking Bundt cake options, which I didn't try, but maybe another time if I go back. The Shrimp scampi was pretty good and I liked the option to get half pasta and half panini with a side. The whole experience reminded me of a lower scale Panera Bread. The staff was extremely nice and friendly!! I appreciated the validated parking as well. The place was overall pretty quiet, so it's a nice place to get to know someone 1:1 over some casual food. read more

I and a coworker went to the Corner Bakery in Buckhead to get some lattes. The place was empty and the two staff members were being very unprofessional trading insults and messing around. These were middle-aged adults. The woman who served us was not at all pleasant and barked at us. The lattes were awful - watery and with a weird taste of vanilla (These were meant to be ordinary lattes) It was very uncomfortable and we would not return. read more

Location is great. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Great for a small quick lunch. Had the upside turkey avocado and chicken orzo soup. Coffee was incredible, wasn't too sweet like in most places and the flavor was on point. Will definitely be back in the future. read more

Today is my 75-year-old friend in my building's birthday. I told her days ago I would take her out for breakfast. Happy Birthday, Angie!! I was on course the whole of yesterday morning, texted her after my class, and asked her where she would like to go. I could take her anywhere and she actually suggested Corner Bakery. Interesting! :I I only had breakfast once at Corner Bakery and I remembered the pancakes I had years back were greasy and unappetizing. Since it was not my birthday and I did tell my friend she could go anywhere she liked, I went along with her suggestion. This morning I showed up at her condo and gave her her first birthday gift of the day. We walked over to Corner Bakery and she wanted a Chicken Pomodori panini. I was wondering why there were no options on how I wanted my eggs :( I never into scrambled eggs. I looked at the breakfast menu and the only form of eggs was just scrambled and more scrambled. My friend also ordered a regular coffee and me a cappuccino. Corner Bakery was more a self-serve cafe. My friend went to get her coffee and she came back laughing saying the french roast and European roast seemed to be the same thing. A server came to our table and gave me my cappuccino. FOOD 1/5 My cappuccino tasted like nothing, probably Corner Bakery's version of cappuccino. I did not know cappuccino could taste like that. My friend said her coffee has no taste, probably so watered down. When our food came, I was kind of shocked. My American Scrambler looked so sad. The toast looked so dry and the eggs looked so mushy. The bacon was the only saving grace. Then again how could one mess up bacon? Honestly, the entire plate would be sent to the trash immediately if this was served to my mom. I tried to take a bite of that toast (yep! so dry :( ). I wonder if the eatery thought of providing some jam (I am not talking about jam from Fortnums or Wilkin & Sons, just some Smuckers) with the toast. I did think that would be standard. The last straw for me was they actually gave us plastic cutlery!! JAIL!! Even airplane meals do not come with plastic cutlery! Plastic pollution? That's fake! :( The birthday girl did not like her Chicken Pomodori. She said it did not taste like the Chicken Pomodori she used to have. I know my friend, she appreciated me taking her out for her breakfast. I wish she chose a better place cos now I felt bad. SERVICE 2/5 The service was alright. Staffs were overall friendly and adequate. The manager did come around and ask if everything was good. We did not have the heart to tell her the breakfast just sux :( AMBIENCE 3/5 It seemed pretty popular in the morning. Lively, a tad noisy but bearable. It would not be my place for breakfast for sure. Honestly, the place was due for a make-over. For the price point, one could get a better breakfast at say Egg Harbor or I don't know, J.Christopher. Parking is difficult to figure out and misleading, staff was not welcoming or very pleasant. Menus were not displayed properly. Staff unintelligibly yells your order out instead of bringing it to you even though they give out number tags for the tables. Not sure how I'm supposed to tell if they are calling orders to the kitchen or for me to come get my order. And then the staff are rude when there is confusion. Soup was good, latte was not great and everything is highly priced. Nice places to sit. I will not be coming back. read more

Been here a few times, but this is my first time doing a review. They are usually consistent, but toady was kinda different. First of all, I guess they are cutting back because the food came out on a paper plate compared to the ceramic plates that they used to serve the food on. I only ordered a medium cappuccino that I had to ask for because they forgot to bring it out. The grits that the wife ordered with her All American Scrambler were cold, and the bacon was greasy. Oh ohhh! Looks like somebody's falling off! Hopefully they will make a comeback. I visited Corner Bakery Cafe while staying in Buckhead. I needed to order a quick breakfast to go and Corner Bakery Cafe has a really user friendly online ordering tool on there website. I ordered two bacon avocado egg bowls. They come with scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, spinach, cheddar, avocado, green onion and a side of toast. The bowl is $8.99 and nothing special. When we picked up out to go order we added two coffees to the order. They had three coffee options and I went with the Café Europa blend. It was a fantastic cup of coffee! Online ordered - check Good coffee - check Quick and friendly service- check Decent food - check All and all, this is a quick place to grab a bite eat and a cup of joe when in a pinch. Worst corner bakery EVER! Upon walking in no one greeted my family, the person at the front pointed at an empty register and said a lady there will help. Food took over 30 minutes to come out and we heard nothing but microwaves being used and the "cook" playing hip hop music over the music in the actual establishment. Manager "pearl" walking in out bathroom and drinking a can of sprite while talking on the phone. Just awful energy and service here. Upon requesting a refund the manager on duties switched to "Kristy" and she said because shifts have changed she could not issue a direct refund to my card and only options were contacting corporate for refund or receive gift cards. Truly only upset because I've visited corner bakeries all around the country from Houston Texas to Washington DC area and this was an awful first experience for me to bring my family to. Very disappointed and would not recommend, better off at fast food or something for food. Didn't get cooks name but whoever is on shift at 2:30 pm on 12/28 should be fired, seriously. Tighten up.
