I was CRAVING a burger so I stopped by one of my faves to watch the NBA playoffs. It was a Sunday so it was super chill. This place is in Buckhead right across the street from Lenox Mall. Parking is free on the 4th level of the parking deck to the back of the building. I came here on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy. It tends to be busier immediately after work in the early afternoon. We sat on the patio outside which b has a huge tv so I imagine this is a great place to watch games. Our waitress was sweet and let us know the Tuesday special was $3 tacos and $4 margaritas. We ordered mango margaritas which did just the trick for $4 m. We opted for both grilled and fried fish tacos. They were just ok, seemed like typical Tex Mex. I ended up ordering the catfish basket. The catfish was heavily breaded breaded and fried crispy on the outside and I liked that. It came with tater sauce and slaw. I didn't love the fries. They were salty and a bit dry inside on the bite. My friends ordered honey sriracha wings (I think) and they enjoyed them. If I come back I'll have to try other menu items since I was not too impressed with the food but the drink special was perfect for happy hour. read more

Owners are HUGE Auburn fans, alarming for a born into Alabama family that's also married to a Bama graduate, but their food hits the spot when you're craving a juicy burger or messy nachos. If you're in for a true Bucket experience, follow your servers recommendations. Any 'Bucket' listed item, just order it! Great for groups and game day viewings all day, all weekend! Everything was good. The food was good. The Apple of my Eye enjoyed his NY Strip steak. He compared it favourably to another restaurant on our rota. The Wagyu burger I had was really good but they don't have many options for toppings. The sides though. The spinach and the rosemary potatoes were special. Raquel, our server, was lovely. Did all she could to give us a good experience. The patio is modern and large, with comfortable seating and tables. This place is a hole in the wall that is an iykyk Buckhead staple. It sits at the bottom of the UGA business building on Lenox Rd. Open very late (the mba students are often there post night class). They are 5 stars on drink/food prices but average on food. Don't come here expecting Ruth's Chris. It's a good time for those with low/no expectations. If you're looking to watch a sports game and drink a bucket of beer-- this is your place!! There are weekly specials. I really loved their buffalo chicken sliders but last 2 times I went 1.) they weren't on the "late night" menu-- a condensed menu from 11-2am. And 2.) they weren't on the regular menu when I went with a friend. Hopefully they bring them back... personally the sweet potato fries and drink prices keep me returning. Not many places left with a cocktail for 9.50 lol! on that note, The lemonade on Lenox is good. The Georgia Peach and spicy margarita, also great. So last night it was getting a little late and unfortunately even in Atlanta choices for solid lates eats (variety) can get a little limited after 9ish Pm on a Thursday night. I was in Buckhead and remembered Bucket Shop Cafe - it's been a few years since I stopped in - it was great to see they are still open late - til 3am I think - and the food is solid..prepared fresh and still really good. Service is still pretty good too - the staff don't hang over you but I find they typically stop by a couple of times to refill drinks and check on you. The ambiance/vibe is total sports "bar-esque" lots of games playing on a bunch of TV's in and outside (great outdoor eating area btw) last night I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and onion rings - really tasty and plenty of meat and veggies on the sandwich- onions rings - hot and crunchy - not homemade but I'll take hot and crunchy anytime they were good - my partner had the sliders and he's a Chef ...I was expecting eye rolls and complaints - but he said they were perfect - buns were fresh and hot and the burgers were good. My pictures were taken after we had already started eating ... sorry about that - but I totally recommend this place. The menu has a nice selection of various items to satisfy any taste - and the prices are absolutely reasonable. We returned after not having been in many years. Easy parking is always so nice with the big garage and validated parking. The service was pretty rough without obvious reason why. We waited a while for most things and they weren't super busy. The Caesar salad and chicken rolls were both nice - we'd order again. Came out with some friend after an event. Wings are 10/10! The fries were fresh and crispy add the Chicago rub to them, you won't be disappointed. The honey sriracha wings are 8/10. Gotta love anything with lemon pepper. Love the vibe here always. Wings never disappoint. Definitely a late night option for a good meal with good company and active bar scene. Had heard about the bucket shop from several people who all spoke highly of it. This sad reality brings me back to a point I often make regarding Atlanta wanting to be known as a major city but cannot compete with other cities that have food options beyond fast food that open late. Not even decent diners. Smh. Thankfully, this establishment was the unicorn. It was perfect for my friend visiting, with seating options available inside and outside. Ample parking was available in the attached garage. Parking validation was available, but not necessary due to open garage in the evening. Our server greedy us promptly after we decided to sit inside. She shared the daily specials, including mimosas, and allow us time to peruse the menu. I opted for six piece wings, and the roast beef au jus sandwich with sweet potato fries. My friend had a bowl and the cowboy burger. We both opted for the mimosas with our meals. My friend, enjoyed her meal, especially the burger. I I really like the sweet potato fries, but my sandwich was a bit salty. I had asked the server if sandwich was known to be salty as au jus can be the case. She honestly stated that she had never had it. I will be sure to defer to one of the many burger options that look tasty during my next visit. Our drinks were decent as well. Got here well into the evening on a Wednesday evening. Perhaps around 10pm. And despite it being late, there was still quite a few people here. There was a low hum to the place. And low lighting as well. Me and my coworker sat at the bar and had a few drinks and shared some chicken wings. The wings were great. I had absolutely no complaints about them. We had the lemon pepper chicken and the seasoning was on point. I'd come back for them again. I had a few local beers and none of them were to my liking which was unfortunate. Staff was super chill. We were recommended this place by another bartender from a different restaurant around the corner and they weren't kidding when they said the bartenders were nice. Aside from the bartender and the wings, it was pretty much a chill spot and could easily become my watering hole if I lived in the area. This is definitely a situation where I can relate to people that wish they could give half stars on here because I would want to give Bucket Shop 3.5 stars based off my most recent experience. I'm so torn because though I didn't enjoy my food at all, I did enjoy the ambience and vibe of the restaurant/bar and I overall enjoyed myself. Regarding the food, I ordered the nachos with chicken and they may have been the most dry nachos I've ever had. I'm a queso girly as can be seen in my bio and I felt like they just drizzled some queso on the nachos, but not enough for it to taste cheesy enough at all or even making sure most of the chips were coated. So again, it was just dry and lacked flavor. However, I really did enjoy my experience there. I met a lot of new people and it seems like they do have a lot of regulars because a lot of people I was speaking to were regulars so that made it very enjoyable. I also thought the service was good. I felt like everybody attended to my needs and was available when I needed them. So to me good ambience and good service definitely can help the situation of me not having enjoyed my food and I also think I may have just ordered the wrong thing but those nachos they gave me really were not good and I would definitely not recommend ordering them. read more

Tried this place late one night and sat outside to just have drinks. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly. It wasn't busy but the service was pretty slow. We got a beer and a marg, which tasted like it had no alcohol in it. We then asked our server for a new one/ to add alcohol (we barely drank it at all). She then told us they don't replace drinks and she sent the manager out to us. He was very nice and understanding but repeated that their policy doesn't allow for drink replacements. I then asked if he could at least take it off our bill since we didn't drink it because it wasn't good. He eventually ended up getting us a new one which was really nice, but probably won't end up going back. So I like the bucket shop because they are open late. I live around the area and most of the stuff closes early. Except for Waffle House that is. And sometimes you really don't want Waffle House and you want some real food. So the bucket shop really comes through in the clutch. I came in after 10:00 at night and I got immediate service. Everybody was pretty good and friendly. Everybody was really helpful who sat me down. They got to my drink order immediately so I really appreciate it that. There were a lot of games on TV so if you want to watch a basketball game, this will be a really good place to do that. So I got the reggae egg rolls and I got a Buckhead burger. Something pretty standard. I'm going to be dabbling in some adult libation so I want to make sure that my stomach is coated and ready to go. The reggae egg rolls are pretty good. The Bucket Shop Cafe located across the street from Lenox Mall is like an icon in Buckhead. It's been around forever which saids a lot in itself. It has an atmosphere and ambience that reminds you of the sit com television show "Cheers" The servers are phenomenal. So myself and 11 others went to the BSC for the Super Bowl 60 and what a fantastic experience we had. Mike P.the manager, went above and beyond to accommodate us. One of the members of the crew, wife is in a motorized wheelchair. Mike made accommodations to make sure that she would be able to enjoy herself. Now that's service! I usually make it to the Buckhead area at least once a year; and we always end up at the Bucket Shop Cafe. This is a great neighborhood restaurant/bar with indoor & outdoor seating; plus it's got a huge menu of finger foods/appetizers, salads, wings, burgers, and actual entrees. I have never gotten a bad meal here, and they also have a huge selection of side items. Not only is the food great; ; but they have an entire menu just for beer! And on that beer menu, they have a good selection of local brews that are fun to sample. It's a great place to watch all the games. They have dozens of flat screens, inside and out, and it appears to be a hangout for local Auburn fans. We also saw several large groups gathering, so it appears to be a good place to meet up for happy hour or celebrate with friends. Our group of 5 started out with fried pickles and chips and salsa. Both were good, and finished off quickly. I also ordered the chicken club wrap which came with bacon, fresh tomatoes, and a delicious honey mustard sauce. Although I only finished half; it was very yummy! My husband had the wings with 2 different hot sauces,(honey Siracha and Downtown Heat,). He enjoyed them both and said that they were both hot enough for him. My sister had a blue cheese burger which was rather small and slightly over cooked for medium. She ate it: but wasn't thrilled with it. She did enjoy the side of spinach she ordered to go with it. There is a big parking garage behind the Bucket Shop Cafe, and it's walking distance from many surrounding apartments & condos, plus it's directly across from the Lenox Mall.
